I had used them before and thought they were OK, then signed up for a service contract because I wanted the twice yearly inspections.  They sent out a guy to inspect who found several urgent problems that needed immediate correction.  He gave me an exorbitant quote.  I then called another plumber for a second opinion.  One of the problems (a supposed leak) was found to be non-existent.  The other problems were not deemed sufficiently serious  to justify action.  I tried to cancel the time remaining on the contract (I have 8 months left).  They would not consider it, even though I will never have them back again under any circumstances.

We signed up for the comfort care plan last year because it seemed like a good deal. After some miscommunication this year , we decided to renew in May. Our first charge was May 29th. I called , told them to renew and asked for a tech to come out because our unit wasn't cooling. He came out on the 3rd of June . He was polite and professional and said we were low 3+ pounds of Freon and that it would be over $900 to fix and left his card to call if we wanted him to fix it. We called two other companies to give us quotes ( Conway and G&H AC). BOTH companies said our units were dirty, that we needed 3 pounds of Freon but each suffered in what needed to be done to fix it. We decided on G&H AC because they were the least expensive and, honestly , the least pushy about replacing the unit. When I called MW back to cancel the service , I was told to cancel would be $259.90 to cancel because I had called for maintenance and hadn't told them the unit wasn't working right. That the tech had cleaned our units and it was $129.95 per unit. I said that he hadn't cleaned the units and just did a diagnostic. They said his gps showed him at my house for 2 hours and that is how long it takes to clean two units. I said I had the paperwork from two other companies that come within days of him that said the units were very dirty.  Leann said I hadn't told her the unit wasn't working because she hadn't put it in her notes and that he did clean them because he said so. I ask for a service advisor to come out on Fri. Instead I got a call back within an hour from Michael ( I think ) he basically told me Conway and G&H were liars and that MW was the only honest company. He said they weren't the cheapest and if I didn't want his precious techs I wasn't good enough to be a Mitch Wright customer. I said obviously I'm not a MW customer. Ask him to cancel and send me an optimized bill which I plan to contest if it has cleaning on it. I guess we all know who the dishonest company is...

DON'T CALL THESE GUYS

I called their office and they sent someone over the same day but it was not what I asked for.

I wanted someone to come and fix the problem not give me and estimate that I had to pay for then give me an outlandish price of almost $400. to cut a 2 pvc drain line in my shower which was clearly exposed and it need to be move 1 3/4 of an inch to the left so I could install a new drain pan and finish the remodel.

I was told of the crazy price and the individual said it would be a couple of days before they could squeeze me in.  I expected the person come fix the problem and get paid, not later.

I did get information from a store in Southaven MS on how to cut the pipe and what to do after that.  All I needed was the tool which I found at my local Home Depot store.

So much for them,  call anyone but them.

THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY BUSINESS WORKING ON COMMERCIAL HVAC UNITS. DO NOT LET THEM SCAM YOU LIKE THEY SCAMMED US. They claimed they knew our brand of units and they were confident in their ability to do our maintenance work for our business. Many times they would have multiple trucks & techs at our location because they couldn't fix our units and they were trying to figure it out. At some points they even called other companies to come assist them. Their maintenance plans are a joke. Their techs do not inspect units as they should. We found several units that didn't work after they had recently been out to do routine maintenance work on all our units. Poor quality/uneducated employees will ruin this company. They need to train and educate their techs on how to properly do their jobs. Absolutely ridiculous how they mistreated our HVAC equipment. We found a reliable HVAC vendor who showed us how poorly Mitch Wright had been treating us. Absolutely unacceptable. Very unprofessional. Do not use them for commercial work.

Mitch Wright company does not honor their repairs. Very efficient at charging big $$$. Poor job with install and follow up. They installed an 18k unit 5 years ago and it has been nothing but problems for the last 2.5 years.  This company fails to take responsibility for their mistakes and failures. 2 children under 2 yrs old in the home without AC due to Mitch Wright shortcomings. Do not use this company!  They should be forced out of business

Both senior technicians that evaluated the system stated that the entire HVAC and tankless system were improperly installed an Mitch Wright should eat the cost of their mistakes and replace the system. $1600 worth of repair parts on top of the previous expenses over the past 2.5 years and no guarantee from your company on the parts or future warranty on the suggested repairs.

I requested the owner call me to discuss this terrible situation and he has failed to return my calls.

Wish I could give zero stars. They conned me into signing up for there club for exceptional service as a member. Was supposed to include HVAC service twice a year and plumbing inspections etc on a regular basis. That was 9 months ago and they haven't done anything. I called to have maintenance done on our HVAC units as the heat index has been over 110 degrees, they can't get here until late July. I fired them, called another company that is getting all 5 star reviews and the are coming Monday morning. DO NOT CALL MITCH WRIGHT, that would be so WRONG!

May 15, 2021 was a routine arrive call. Their HVAC tech told me my unit needed 8 pounds of R22 @$200 per pound ($1600) and that my compressor was going out at a cost of another $2000. Mind you, no issues with my unit no outrageous bills either in fact, it's cooling just fine, not running constantly, no leaks, and nothing freezing up. They quoted me for Rheem 3T/14 seer for my 1688 sq ft ranch-style home built in 2009 unit 12 years old.... Quoted me $9000 which was the cheapest/lowest starting price they offered. I already had two local quotes one for a Rheem 3.5T/14 seer for $4375 and a carrier 3T/14 seer for $5000. I guess they figure  women are stupid and gullible. I'll never use them again and never recommend them. If a negative star was possible, that's what I'd rate them. Shameful crooks.

They did a great with the replacement of our sewage line, but they were coming out every 3 months checking plumbing and air. Every time they came out it seems things ended up broken that they say we need to replace. Their cost was very high!So the last time they came out they replace something on our air conditioner they the guy said he didn't know if he broke whatever it was that he replace. So, after they left our air line frozen over. So, we called the supervisor to convey our problems they we had been having with their service. But, the supervisor was very rude and over talked my wife and I! He just wouldn't not listen to our complaints. So, we canceled our service contract we had with them. Our experience was bad with them.

They stood us up on our first appointment. Said they would put us on the schedule for the next day. They came out and said it was too wet to do anything and that they didn't have any camera or equipment to check the pipes. Said they would have to schedule another visit. But they did take $90 for coming out! They never called to schedule a follow up. Don't waste your time or money.

We had a great experience with this company! All five of our toilets stopped functioning, and we were in a panic. After leaving a message with with the answering service, Courtney called us back and explained that a tech would call us back as soon as possible and come out. Chase, the tech, called in a timely manner, and was at our house within 20 minutes of his call. Before my husband arrived back at our house, he had already diagnosed and fixed the problem. Both Courtney and Chase were friendly, kind, and helpful We highly recommend this company and would be happy to do business with them again!

I am a long time customer of Mitch Wright Plumbing, Heating and Air, and have had the club contract for just as many years.   During this great winter freeze of 2018, one of the control valves on my tankless water heater apparently had been leaking for some time, and finally
iced over on last Wednesday, causing one of the on/off levers on the hot water separation tube to ice over and knock the lever
out of its socket, which caused a perpetual leak from the hot water tube.  The technician came in record time to assess my problem and determined that the valve kit needed to be replaced.  As a precautionary measure, he suggested replacing the cold water tube valve kits as well, which was a great idea.   The tech. checked his Job price book and determined that my job would cost $600.00, but since I was a club member, I would get a discount.
He did not have the kits and had to return to his office to make the order; thus, he came back on the next morning to complete the job.  I have to admit, the job is excellent, but the cost was something I did not expect, but I needed the repair so that I could have hot water.   I have American Home Sheild, but they do not handle the tankless water heater issues, so I did not call them for the service.  As I was in a tight situation by not having hot water, I did not have time to search for other bids for the job.  I can never complain about the workmanship of Mr. Wright's Plummers and Electricians, but the cost was a bit excessive.   On a side note; maybe the large amount included the cost of the five-year warranty on the parts.  Just my thoughts on that.

Horrible experience with this company. They over charged my grandfather big time for a system that should have cost half what they charged according to another quote I received. I talked to Mr. Wright and he advised me to drop off the other quote and he would see what he could do, but its been a month and he never called me. This is after his son told me that they did price matching and if I brought the other quote by that they would match it. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I have heard nothing but bad things about the company from customers, and other contractors. I would recommend you get a second quote before you have any work done by this company and you can decide for yourself what is fair.

On the coldest night of this winter, our heat died - of course. I called Mitch Wright when I woke up to a freezing cold house. Tommy H. (the tech) called me back almost immediately to tell me he was on his way. He was professional, courteous and fixed the problem right up! As a bonus, he fixed our gas fireplace when I told him it wasn't working. He took the time to explain the problems with both the furnace and the fireplace, and also showed me how to make my daughter's room warmer. I have received nothing short of exceptional service from everyone that I have ever dealt with at this company. All of the techs and the customer service reps have been fantastic to deal with. Thank you!

I will never use Mitch Wright again.  They lied to me, talked down to me, didn't take Covid 19 precautions without my insistence, tried to upsell me instead of just fixing my plumbing issue, and were rude when confronted with their misdiagnosis.  I am left feeling like they, knowing we are renters, were trying to justify an unnecessary sewer line replacement that they wanted us to simply pass on to the out-of-state rental owners.

I called Mitch Wright out because my sewage line was backed up.  I requested the $99.00 special to run a snake down my sewage line.  Upon arrival the tech told me they would have to charge an additional $99.00 to run a camera before they could snake the sewage line.  Once the tech ran the camera he told me my sewage line was clay and had roots.  He then recommended the hydro-jetter at a cost of $400 instead of using the snake.  Reason being the snake could pull in the roots and collapse the clay sewage line.
The tech came back about one week later to run the hydro-jetter then told me my sewage pipe was completely collapsed. While I don't know if it is industry standard, I was also extremely grossed out by the dumpage of our sewage on the floor of the concrete basement.  The Tech and his apprentice left wet raw sewage for us to clean up.

Mitch Wright then quoted me $14,500 to replace ~30 feet of straight line sewage pipe with no obstructions (other than a fence that could be dug under or easily removed).

After receiving this absurd quote I called another local plumber for a second opinion.  This plumber showed me via camera that my pipe was cast iron (roots cannot penetrate, except at joints which is rare) then used a snake cutting tool to eat up the clog.  We pushed the camera through the sewage pipe again all the way to the city tap.  My pipe was not collapsed!!!

I then called Mitch Wright back to let them know my dissatisfaction in the tech they sent out because he lied to me about the pipe collapse and material.  I asked for a credit since I paid for the more expensive option based on the Tech's incorrect diagnosis.  They sent out a second Tech to justify the first Tech's diagnosis, and this Tech - when questioned about the whole collapsed issue- rudely told me not to tell him how to do his job.  Their Customer Service Manager then called and told me I was lucky I was not charged more, that their tech was correct, and that I need to replace my pipe (after constantly interrupting me on the call).  He also did not check the video footage.

I was shocked that a local business would not want to better train their techs to diagnose issues or at least do something to correct issues that occur in the field.  I will never use Mitch Wright again!

Let me tell you about the disappointment Mitch Wright turned out to be....the family and I moved into this house about 15 yrs ago and since our first problem we was recommended to use Mitch Wright....threw out the 15 yrs there was break downs and service calls for Mitch Wright...they came checked outside and went up into crawl space and they did there thing and fixed the problem and it was back to normal....they even got me enrolled into there club membership for cheaper pricing and preventive maintenance...this is there guy comes out changes filter...cleans the outside unit etc...well....on one schedule maintenance this one guy comes to the house and says he is here for maintenance and says he's going up to the crawl space...okay he goes up and not a peep out of him...any other time they went up there it sounded like they was going to come down threw the ceiling but this tech spent 30-45 and no noise at all...finally comes down and says everything ok and off he goes...no papers to sign or told nothing on what he did...so here it last week my old ac unit has taken turn for the worse and needs to be replaced...so gave Mitch a call and tech comes out...breaking noise that I need to get new one and tells me he needs to go in crawl space to see how it is up there....after a bit he comes down saying duct work is wrong and sales guy will come by and take a look and will be able to quote a price and explain what needs to be done....well hour later sales guy shows up and the fun begins....he does his thing and does the crawl space thing comes down and begins to tell me that I need a whole new unit new duct work and to insulate the whole crawl space....cheapest being 20k to highest 40k....I was just in flabbergasted by the price...I sat here like you been coming in and out of crawl space for 15 yrs now and not any of the tech guys said one word insulation is bad or duct work is bad...he goes into story that Mitch Wright had bad techs and was  letting them go for bad service etc...and they are changing there techs out and improving...this is the straw that broke the camels back...20-40k to fix this problem that maintenance plan and numerous visits from your company and nothing wrong intill a problem occurs then it's like oh by the way you need everything new now....sorry Mitch Wright your not fish hooking me into work that was ok up in till a problem came up and now it's pile more problems on and charge more...sorry that's bad business and even bad to create problems when you said everything was ok....

We have used MWP for a few years to maintain our HVAC.  Unfortunately we had an AC unit go out on us; fortunately we had Mitch Wright to call.  We looked at other providers, but Ben came out and discussed with us our options to accommodate our house.  Michael and Reno showed up, installed the unit, and helped with the new thermostat schedule that best fit our needs. It was a great experience, and the first night with AC in a week was wonderful.  Thanks guys.

Friday night my AC stops cooling the house.  It's hottest time of year.  Guy comes out at almost midnight.  Replaces the capacitor and cleans the unit.  Doesn't charge me but tells me he will be back the next day to check everything out fully and I can pay the bill then.....wow!  If I could give 6 stars I would.

We had them replace a toilet that had a crack and they replace it with a toilet that the tank was cracked and the wrong color, they asked for us to pay for the toilet and install before the cracked tank was replaced. We have been calling and calling to see when new tank can be installed and continue to get the run around. I have been very disappointed with their customer service. I do not recommend them.

I have spent a fortune with Mitch Wright over the previous two years. I used them to replace all three of my AC units, a plenum on the attic unit and a faulty hot water tank. However, after they were done installing the hot water tank, I noticed that they did not replace the fittings. They had used the old rusty fittings from the previous tank. Anyone knows that you do not use old fittings when installing a new water tank as that is where it will fail. When I called to tell them, they indicated that I would have to pay an $80 call out fee for the technician to look at it. I was told I would have to pay this call out fee regardless of whether they replaced the fittings or not. They could not tell me over the phone whether I would also be charged to replace the fittings for new ones.  In explaining this unusual situation to the lady on the phone and how much I had spent with them over the previous two years, she hung up on me and told me to have a good day. So much for customer loyalty. I will be using another firm to replace the fittings on the tank and will no longer be using Mitch Wright for any plumbing work.  If you use this firm to do your plumbing, keep your fingers crossed they do the job properly and that you won't need to call them back.  Otherwise they will gouge you for more.

Jeremy took the time to go over estimates and features of several HVAC options with us, several times, over the course of a few months. It took us that long to get in a position to afford it and do our research to make a decision. Plus my husband had undergone two serious health procedures during that time. Jeremy took time to understand our situation, was able to explain options clearly and we ordered the unit we needed, with the air purifier -that was a big incentive for me due to my husband being immunosuppressed. We also were able to arrange replacement of our ancient water heater at same time, all for a reasonable price. It was really a
pleasant buying experience.

I purchased an almost $10k unit from Mitch Wright and have never received such horrible service. From being charged almost 70% more than the agreed price, to not receiving a call back after I made five attempts, to having to remind them to start my 2 year PM work.  I've now made two attempts to find out how to transfer the warranty and 2 year PM contract to the buyer of my old home, and as usual, I have been left sitting for well over a week. How does my almost five figure purchase not warrant better service than this?? I have somehow refrained from sharing this on every website and social media page, but I'm at a point where I would be doing a future Mitch Wright customer an injustice if I didn't warn them about the type of service they may also receive. I have already been treated so poorly that the GM, Mickey, had to personally come to my house. While their techs have always been fast and friendly, they clearly have major problems with their sales, customer service, and management teams. If I did business the way they did, I would not be able to afford the expensive HVAC unit that I truly regret having purchased.

Go elsewhere.

I scheduled an appointment and received a 'missed' call morning of the scheduled day. I call back within 5 minutes. Girl on the other end says they're going to send a technician. I said, great I'll be here. Walk away from my phone for 5 mintues, come back and have 3 voice mails. One says that my appointment is cancelled because I didn't take the call. WTF?? So I call back and this snotty lady picks up and gets an attitude. I told her they have some very poor communication going on. All she kept talking about is her information. This speaks volumes to what kind of service they would have provided. No thanks! I'll find someone who will show up. I wouldn't give them one star if I could rate lower.

Try National Economy Plumbers. There, you'll talk to someone who's actually done something other than pick up a telephone with a snotty attitude.

Service is immediate, on time, and professional. However, their cost on parts are way out of line. A blower cover switch should not cost over $200 dollars.

Another issue is every time I call on them for a repair, they come up with thousands of dollars in recommended improvements.

The high pressure sales does not foster a trusting environment.

Mitch Wright got my plumbing job done right, but they definitely overcharge.  Ended up paying $325/hour for plumber and some PVC to reconnect disposal and new sink after a countertop installation.  This was with the big deal price 15% off for being in the Mitch Wright club.  Way out of line, and when I asked about the charge, they basically said too bad, that was what I was quoted the day before.  Was quoted as a 4-hour complicated job that ended up being less than 2 hours, with just basic plumbing 101.  Their priority scheduling for members is also a joke.  Had a plumbing emergency last summer on a weekday.  They said no one could make it for 2 days.  I called another company and they came right out the same day.
