HISTORY

Established in 1994.
Higher Power Electric began in 1994 as a sole proprietor business, eventually expanding our staff and services to serve the Columbus Ohio community. We incorporated in 1997, and continued our growth into commercial retail and petroleum projects. In 2006 we established a First Class residential service division to provide electrical service repairs and upgrades for our residential customers. We have implemented a Code of Ethics that exemplifies our professional committment to our employees, customers, and community. We are committed to providing our customers with well-trained experienced electricians capable of performing the most complicated projects under tight time constraints. Our friendly, conscientious staff gets the job done with little or no interruption to your business or home, and will meet your requests with a positive attitude. ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Patrick Payne is the owner/operator of Higher Power Electric since 1994. Raised in the Columbus area all his life, he has seen many changes that has occured within the Columbus area that has made this a great city to reside in.

Graduated from Northland H.S. in 1971. A former owner of a Clintonville family owned automotive repair center, Payne's Service, had provided the customer service foundation that is so important for our customers today.

In 1976, Patrick decided to pursue a career in electrical construction and began his electrical apprenticeship graduating in 1980. Serving as a journeyman electrician, foreman, supervisor, and estimator established a solid foundation in many areas of electrical construction and management.

Patrick has two grown children and **FIVE** wonderful grandchildren. Married 40+ years to his wife, Vickie, who serves as the office manager of Higher Power Electric.

Our family was very impressed by Higher Power! Lyle was very friendly and professional. Not only did he fix some lights that were out at my mom's condo, but he let us know how to stay safe and avoid having them go out again. My sister and I highly recommend this company!

After getting the run around by other companies, Higher Power Electric was prompt, friendly, very competent, reliable, everything you would hope for. With Electrical work in my home, it is very important that I can be assured it was done correctly.

I can't recommend Higher Power Electric enough! I had a fan light repaired, a new kitchen light installed, a new dining room light installed and a few other flush mount lights installed. They also removed a old satellite dish for me. They were quick, but thorough! The quoting and scheduling process went very smoothly. I received a reminder call the day before, as well as a call on the day of my appointment letting me know they were on their way. Everyone I dealt with were very nice and professional!

What an exceptional business to work with!! From the first moment I looked up Higher Power Electric, they were so easy to work with the schedule an initial consultation within the week. John was very honest and open with his advise for how to upgrade our outdoor business lighting so that it was most effective, and he even took a drawing of our building plan so that he could provide a detailed proposal for our lighting. I want to say a big thank you to Lyle, Eric, and Jim who performed our installation -- they walked me through everything and answered any and all questions I had. Thank you also to Patrick and Vickie for being so pleasant and helpful!! Our business has a hectic schedule, and they did everything they could to accommodate us, for which I am eternally grateful. Long story short, if you're looking for an honest company that provides exceptional work, look no further!

i have always had great experiences with Higher Power. our first interaction was 10 years ago when we remodeled our kitchen. they did a fantastic job. my general contractor was impressed enough that he asked for their contact info to pass onto other clients. since then we have used them for various electric needs: new panel, transfer switch, and several smaller jobs. they are straightforward, honest and communicate well throughout the job.

Had home inspection done and had some exposed wires from old disconnected lines showing around the electric panel. Called Higher Power and they were quick to come out and clean it up a few days later. Looks good now.
