Initial plumber that came out was courteous and good but had to call supervisor for some approval with our water line insurance provider. Never heard anything, with no water, for 30 hours. Water line insurance people could not seem to contact them about status and nothing happened. When I called His and Hers, I did get a receptionist that contacted her supervisor. He said he was waiting on insurance people to OK job...which was not the case. Still no idea when anything would happen. I cancelled the job with them. They were awful. Use anyone else.

Fail. Epic fail. -- leak spraying water at a connector at my hot water heater.

Called Thursday, couldn't get to my leak until Tuesday....missed the appointment....rescheduled for the next day....plumber (Mike) came out and didn't fix it.  I texted him and he lied and said just wait until the morning when it's dry. (wednesday).

Um. Not. The pipe wasn't even connected. Just covered in glue. A complete mess.

I called / texted Mike he said he would stop by and finish. He never did.

Thursday morning called the office spoke with an assistant then the owner Kelly...soonest they can get someone out is Friday.

IF they contact me about this crappy service and apologize after they fix the leak.  I'll update my review, but they are bad and I wouldn't recommend them even if they paid me to allow them to fix it as it stands now.

[Problem Resolution] Hers & His Plumbing was dispatched by American Home Warranty for our clogged sewer line.  The technician arrived early, was very pleasant, solved the problem & advised us what caused the problem.  We are very happy with the service we received.

0 stars is too generous- scheduled to come to a property between 12-3, shows up early and leaves because no one answered the door- duh, the appointment time was 12-3 pinhead! Whoever answered the phone in the office needs some customer service lessons but made sure I knew they have enough customers and dont need my business. How Nashville tolerates this kind of customer service is beyond me! There are too many good plumbers in town to have to deal with these hacks......

COMPLETE AND TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS!!!!
I know some people might unjustly categorize companies like this, however in this case, I am 100% sincere.  I have a home warranty protection plan on my home, unfortunately my warranty company chose to use this company for their home plumbing repair services.  They came out in their nice and pretty big red van, the plumber came inside our home, spent 5 minutes down stairs and said that we needed our water heater replaced.  (It was leaking from the bottom, so I already knew that we needed to replace the unit.)  After his professional diagnostic analysis, he proceeded to tell me that we needed an additional $500 worth of work that was required to bring our house up to Code.  The plumber stated that these Code modifications where required by State and County Law.  He wanted me to pay him on the spot for the work.  I told him I would contact him back later that I needed to speak with my wife first.  I called the State and County Building code enforcement office and they informed me that our house was built to code and that the modifications where not required, or needed.  They also informed me that they receive several phone calls a week about this specific plumbing company requiring individuals to bring their homes up to Code.  So, buyer be ware and be warned, this plumbing company consists of scam artist that want to rip you off and steal your money under false pretenses!!!

I had to work with this company through my home warranty. The first time we used them they showed up 15mins before the time from expired. This second time it was scheduled 1-4pm. The dispatch called bc the technician couldn't find the road.  Technician must be blind bc it's an easy address to find. Returned the phone call within 30 mins. Dispatch couldn't give answer why but the appt had to be rescheduled. Called the actual office to get an answer and since it was now past the allotted time frame they had to reschedule. Not our problem that your techs can't find an address and us had to reschedule due to their incapablilty to use a gps. Will never use Hers and His plumbing or suggest their business to anyone.

This company replaced a leaky valve with another leaky valve. They hired a third-party call center that matches their unreliable service. Be skeptical of anything higher than a one-star review. Please do yourself a favor and contact someone who will get it fixed the first time.

This company was recommended by AHS Home warranty for a water heater issue and a broken kitchen faucet handle. The plumber tried to sell me a water filtration system. I told him none of my neighbors have to have one and I did not need one either. He sent in a report to the home warranty company that the issues were caused because I did not have a water filtration system and that they would install one for 500.00. This is a conflict of interest and bad business practice.
My recommendation is never use this company. They are dishonest.

I am only leaving one star because you can't post without it and you aren't allowed to go into negatives...

I was directed to Hers and His (H&H) plumbing through American Home Shield. Our issue was a water heater. The H&H technician came out on 21 November 2022; he determined the starter was out, and he went to the warehouse to pickup the part. They didn't have it, and he couldn't order it because the type of water heater we have is outdated and is discontinued (a Rheem, manufactured in December 2020). I got on the website and found the part within a couple minutes. They couldn't order it from the manufacturer, we have to use our own provider.
So, two weeks later, they got the part (two weeks AFTER Thanksgiving) on Thursday (8 December 2022). The technician came to install it, but, big shock, it was the wrong part. So, the ordered the correct part and had it overnighted to the technician He said he would install in on Friday. On Friday, H&H called and said he was busy, and they would install it on the next Tuesday (13 December 2022). On Monday (12 December), we called to verify the appointment. They (H&H) said that we didn't have an appointment on Tuesday (because apparently, we cancelled it??) and the next available was 22 December 2022. I'll update when they find some way to blow that one off...
Literally as I was about to post this on 13 December, H&H called and told us our new appointment was on 22 December; we said we already had an appointment on that day; the dispatcher told us this wasn't true, as we didn't have an appointment in the system! So, in less than 24 hours, we were told we had an appointment, and then we didn't, then we did: the adventure continues...

I went through my home warranty company  for a water leak. They sent this company out around 3:30pm. The guy found the problem but It was going to be a 2hr job. He told my husband off the bat,its not gonna be covered. He called the warranty company would not answer their questions argued back and fourth with them saying the copper pipe was not covered. They pulled him from the job.  The pipe was covered and my problem could have been resolved and now Im stuck waiting on another company to come out because this guy was ready to go home for the day. I will never use them again!!!!

We have never experienced anything like the attitude displayed by the service technician who was assigned by our home warranty company this week. More like a bully. He was so rude in reviewing what he thought that it seemed he was the owner of the home warranty company. Never mind we knew the items he indicated wasn't covered was indeed covered. His attitude was so bad that after a few minutes it became clear that we didn't even want this person in our home and we invited him to leave. After thinking about the conversation from him it certainly appeared that he was setting us up to charge us for the repairs and the warranty company as well. A rating of one is too good.

Sent out an incompetent person who took 2 hours to fix the problem and then spent 30 minutes telling me I needed to buy a pressure regulator. Said I would be very disappointed with the trickle of water but it was necessary if I wanted problems covered in the future. They then told me that I would need to caulk my faucet to fix the leak..that she just supposedly fixed. After I caulked the faucet I still had a water leak problem and they refused to work with me on coming out after 5. Then kept asking me what their service person had done! Not happy.

First, let me say that the plumber they sent was fine.  He actually stayed late to make sure we had hot water that night, even if he did overcharge for some services and charge for some uncalled for things.  For example, he charged me a fee for difficult access to my hot water heater, but then asked me to help him move the old heater out and then again to move the new heater into place - which I didn't mind, but then don't charge me a fee for difficult access.  The company as a whole leaves a lot to be desired.  Their customer service is atrocious.  The people who make the appointments have zero empathy or apathy and are unwilling to work with your schedule or needs.  Same goes with the dispatchers.  I work in a customer centric business as well and we are always considerate of our patients and their individual needs and bend over backwards to make them happy.  If you have a choice, I would recommend that you deal with a different company for your plumbing needs.

After a bad experience with ARS Rescue Rooter, I ended up going through my home warranty company to fix a clogged bathtub.  They assigned me a technician from Hers and His Plumbing.  Cody came out and was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, dressed neatly and wore booties when walking through my house.  In less than 30 minutes he had my problem fixed and was on his way.  I will definitely request Hers and His Plumbing and specifically, Cody, if I ever have plumbing problems in the future.

Our warranty company forced us to use this company. I noticed really bad reviews, and was hoping the few good reviews would be the experience I would have. Nope, not a chance. For 100.00 dollars they could not find anything and dispatched a leak inspector, hydro scout, and they found in one second, a dislodged Ptrap. This should have been detected by Hers and His! We had to pay out of pocket to hydro scout 250.00! We are now out 350.00. We can't use our sink. I feel that we should get all of our money back. Yeah, right. Not in this lifetime. Why have a warranty? Why own a house? Why don't I just write a review and maybe someone will not have to go through what we did. We should have just done the work ourselves. We intend to repair it ourselves tomorrow. Insurance continues to be a joke. Screwed again.

The plumber was fine, the real problem was the staff who supports the business and answers the phone.
Never have I been treated so rudely by a dispatch employee. Overall this was not a good experience and I ended up having to have a new plumber come out to finish the job because the dispatch was unable to do their job, and on top of it they were very rude.

I have a home warranty. The company sent these people to my home for a backed up toilet. When he arrived, the first thing he did was tell me my home warranty won't cover the problem. I asked how much it would be to fix without the warranty. He started with $350 but then went into the crawl space. When he came out he said I had major problems and my sewer pipe was too small. He started talking about digging up my concrete patio and replacing my sewer pipe. I didn't even ask how much that would cost. I realized he was trying to see how much money he could get out of me. I did not let him do any work. I still had to pay the $75 service fee even though he made sure it wasn't covered. I will not be doing business with them again and probably won't renew my AHS warranty if these are the people they send.

Got them from my home warranty and they are a nightmare to deal with. So corporate. You call in hold for an hour they send out completely incompetent technicians that don't do the job and then you have to do it all over again.  There's not even a local number to contact, it takes you to a call center. I do not recommend them!

Negative experience. Company chosen by my home warranty company. Called on a Saturday and the earliest they could come was Wednesday... When he arrived he called me to complain about where my place is located (downtown) and mad about parking. He didn't introduce himself or make much eye contact then told me my place was old and I never should have bought it because it will be nothing but problems. Said my home warranty wouldn't cover repairs because of pre-existing/sediment condition. Bad attitude and rude the whole time! Never using or recommending this company.

I've had a horrible experience every time we've been stuck using this company. We use our home warranty company which contracts with them. Luckily after this most recent visit our home warranty won't use them moving forward. We've been without hot water for 2 weeks and now they keep rescheduling our repair to prolong it even more. It never fails with them.

My hot water heater was leaking but it was under warranty.  My warranty company (HWA) sent me Hers and His and they (a technician named Cody) replaced my electric hot water heater.  One month later the new unit stopped working.  I finally turned the breaker off because it was starting to smoke and was getting very hot on top.  When I called Hers and His about it, they said that they couldn't help me.  I had another company take a look at it and they said that it was very improperly installed.  My house is old and doesn't have a ground wire for the hot water heater (I didn't know this as I just bought it).  Rather than telling me that I needed to have an electrician install a ground, Cody grounded the new unit by pouring WATER into the cover that went over the wires of the hot water heater.  The wires were nicked during the installation and so began to burn up the water as well as each other, causing the hot water heater to fail.  They wouldn't fix the problem or reimburse me (HWA only paid 60% of the job).  After 2.5 weeks of no hot water, a church friend helped me run a ground wire and got the heater running again.

This is a scam business.  They were dispatched to my home by a home warranty company covering my newly purchased home.  I discovered a loose toilet and it could not be tightened and after removing the toilet I discovered a broken toilet flange.  I reported this to the warranty company who sent His and Hers.  Upon arrival the technician said that since the toilet was removed he refused to perform any repairs, then, he demanded $100 to do nothing. When I objected to paying for nothing he threated to file a lien on my home, go to court and get a judgement, and file theft of services charges (all for work he refused to do).  This company does not do work.  They are paid by the warranty company to inspect claims and deny them, collect money from the naïve consumer so they get money for nothing and the warranty company never honors a claim.  Beware these scam companies.  Owner pretends he's a wonderful business man so he can project a safe image to unsuspecting victims.  Look up American Plumbing, Oxford, AL.  Same business model but they got what His and Hers still needs.

Our sewer line was clogged and backed up into our house. Home Serve warranty  dispatched Hers and His Plumbing. It was discovered that the line was completely clogged with roots. They wanted to snake it and kill the roots and leave. I pushed for them to replace the line. Home Serve said if plumbing company supplied cost breakdown, they would consider the replacement. In the meantime, they snaked it to clear and used Rootx. They never contacted Home Serve about replacing the damaged portion of the pipe and closed the ticket. If the pipe was completely infiltrated with roots, it makes sense that the pipe is DAMAGED. Just took the money and ran. All they had to do was submit the cost breakdown and they didn't even do that.

Yes, complete fail.  This was the worst experience I ever had.  I would advice against choosing this company.  They were sent by First American, charged me $60 and told me to go to Lowe's, buy the parts and fix it myself.  Claimed a part was missing when it wasn't.

This company runs a racket of stating that the fix is a new pressure regulator/relief valve.  This is a costly and usually unnecessary fix.

We have American Home Shield as our home warranty company.  His and Hers was the designated provider for our service ticket.  They are based out of Tennessee.  They are not a quick turn-around once you request service.  We called on Wednesday and they weren't able to come out until Saturday.  When the service rep came out, as he was getting out of his truck he immediately said we were going to need a new pressure regulator valve (our complaint was that recently our pipes started to vibrate when we would flush a toilet or have more than once source of water being used in the house).  I'm not sure why he already had that in his head, but he did a reading of pressure at our spigot and said it was 95 psi and that it should be at 60 or so to be safe (I did not see the values that he found...just had to take his word for it).  He recommended a fix that cost about $400 and would not be covered by our plan (install a pressure regulator valve).  It would also require our lawn to be dug up to put the fix into place.  Something felt a little suspicious (since I had read on a previous Her and His/Hers & His reviews that a similar fix was done for several other customers, so I started wondering if this is all they know how to do).  My husband is a construction/civil engineer, so he went and bought the pressure testing device that the plumber had used and did the readings again (at various times of day, since it will change from day use to night use, etc).  In testing the pressures, we never did get the 95 psi value that the plumber stated he got.  All of our readings at all faucets were at 60 psi.  Therefore, the recommended repair would be unnecessary and would not alleviate the pipe vibration we have since high pressure was not an issue.  The service rep was nice enough (kind of a grandfatherly type gentleman), but I was not convinced of his capabilities as a plumber.  We will be calling another plumber to see if we can have them determine why our pipes are vibrating.

We have water flowing rampantly under our house. Yesterday, our home warranty company assigned Hers and His plumbing to the job. First, they never called us as we were told they would. I called them after waiting a few hours and they stated they had our case (but hadn't bothered to call), and said they couldn't get to it until the next day (today).

This morning as I was waiting for the plumber, losing time at my own job, I was called and told in a message that their plumber was out on an emergency and simply wouldn't come at all. No future appointment was given and no direct number to call back was provided.

Not sure what more of an emergency this could constitute than the river rapidly flowing under our house, I called back. I was placed on hold four times over the last several hours and then hung up on each time. Amazing. I would give zero stars if I could.

I f I could give a zero I  would. I had a hot water heater put in by Hers and His plumbing in 2010. The hot water heater started leaking and I called immediately on Thursday. I was told to wait till Tuesday for an appointment. On Saturday it ruptured. I called the emergency number and no one called me back. I was just trying to find out how to turn it off. After a long weekend I called again Monday. A plumber was sent. Of course they would not honor my warranty- which stated-full lifetime warranty up to 3 replacement. There is no small print on the warranty saying if the pressure valve failed -the contract was void. They looked for every excuse not to honor the warranty. They claimed they gave me a discount but did not honor a written warranty. They not not keep their warranties-watch out!

One star is to kind. Other than the technician was courteous.
Please read this or end up with a $49 dollar bill for absolutely nothing.
The guy showed up between a 10:00-2:00 window after the client called twice. He came in and I guess evaluated the situation. He went back to his van and brought in an industrial drain cleaning snake that he even told the customer was to large for the drain and he could not use it. He then asked the customer if he had a plunger. He asked the customer after that if he had a coat hanger. He then tried to convince the customer he had better drainage after the customer told him there was no difference. After all of this he asked the customer for $ 49 dollars. I had a competitor once tell me that it is called a license to steal. I like the root word of  that. Lice. I really felt sorry for this gentleman who felt as if he had to pay for nothing. He is a much better person. I do not feel as if I would have handled it the same way. This testimony is true. I have no reason to lie about it.

Like others here, this company cancelled on me at the last moment (despite having been schedule for over a week) and was unresponsive when I tried to reschedule my appointment. It seems they are busy because they keep getting home warranty referrals, not because of any superior quality. I am going with a more professional contractor.

They didn't show up for their 9am to noon window.  I waited at home missing work.  At 11:45 I called and found out that the truck broke down.  Then I waited on hold over 10 minutes for a reschedule before I hung up.  Another plumber is coming this afternoon to take care of my repair.  Hers and His needs to put customer service first.  They have several technicians in Chattanooga and someone should have been able to get to this sooner.  By the way, I was a CASH customer, not a home warranty customer.  Sad.

I am giving one star because zero stars is not an option.
They came to remove a blockage in my sewer line. 25 days later I have a water geyser coming up in my bathroom because the line is blocked again. They supposedly scoped down 10 feet and came up with some scrap of something they SAID I put down the line. I did not.
6 days later I see water standing in the yard again. I complain to the warranty company and they say that because there was some fabric scrap in the line they will not honor my claim.
I called a different plumbing company to come and clear the line AGAIN (this is the 3rd call in less than 6 weeks!) they go down 6 FEET and see a large break in the line. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE IF THE 2ND GUY FROM HERS AND HIS WENT DOWN 10 FEET!! I saw the camera image and could see the break in the line at 6 feet. How did they miss it if they SUPPOSEDLY went down 10?
I never saw him take the fabric out of the line. I never saw him use the camera to look down the line. He was out there for maybe 20 minutes. I think he was just trying to cover his tail for the first guy that had been out 25 days prior.
I lived in my previous home for 10 years and NEVER ONCE had to call a plumber. The house before that was on a septic line that we had to clean out once in 18 years.  So how in the HELL am I having 3 blockages in 6 weeks and a break in the line that 2 incompetent plumbers from hers and his can't manage to see?  They are pathetic.

I have had this company out 4 times. Yesterday I was assigned Tommy and Miguel. I was called in the morning and they were able to come before the time that had been set before. It was a great help because it opened my time up in the afternoon. I was grateful they called. I had a huge back up in my kitchen sink. It took awhile but both kept at it to clear it for me. They were very respectful when it came to my home. I asked for advice on keeping the pipes clear and they recommended something I could use to help with my bad plumbing that was installed in my home. I would call this company and these two guys anytime for help. Hers and His, Thanks for sending two guys who know what there doing. It was a pleasure.

It is now 3 weeks into waiting for hers and his plumbing to fix my HVAC system. While fixing one issue (replacing a fan motor) they broke the blade on my fan. They were supposed to be out here a week ago to fix it, and I've yet to receive a phone call or any sort of communication to let me know the status. Every time I call, I get hung up on or told they have no answers by the rude costumer service people. I would give this company 0 stars if I could. DO NOT USE THEM.

I read the reviews and was not looking forward to this. I was assigned them by my Home Warranty. I was so pleasantly surprised. I called my warranty on a Sunday and they couldn't come out till Wednesday. We were ok with it since we have a second bathroom. We were told they would call before the arrival time of 9am-12. Cody called at 9:08 am and gave us amble time to get home. The work was done quickly and correctly. We were very pleased with everything.

Was dispatched hers and his plumbing today by American home shield   They also told me I needed to replace my water pressure regulator and the cost to do that would be $745. On top of the $75 fee I had to pay them to come out.  Bradley said that because the water pressure valve was bad none of the work I needed done would be covered by American home shield.   So mad he took me for $75!

Wrote the previous review below last week but need to amend. A couple of days later, the owner of the company called, apologized, and said these problems would not occur again and that my warranty would be honored. He even reimbursed me for the other company's charges. So I will give them another chance and hope they will be the company they were before. Kudos for going above and beyond to rectify the situation!

(Don't know what has happened to this company over the past 6 years. In 2008 they were the plumber I trusted the most and recommended them to family, friends, and clients. In fact, I trusted them so much that at the suggestion of their service tech, I purchased a lifetime warranty for water heater repair. Should have known it was too good to be true. In 2011 I filed a claim and had to jump through hoops to get them to honor the warranty and I filed another claim in the past couple of days of December 2014 and was told they had no record of the warranty and probably wouldn't honor it, however the service manager would call me when he could. I was also told they would probably have no appointments available soon. To his credit, the service manager did call later, but by that time I had called someone else, Sewell Electric, a long time Franklin Tn business, because with a household of 4, going a weekend with no water heater just wasn't going to work. A few hours later, Sewells arrived at the house, diagnosed the problem, repaired the water heater and were gone within an hour. I had to pay a bit of money but it was worth it to not have to try and get Hers and His to stand behind the warranty they sold. Therefore, my future personal water heater business and my recommendations and referrals will go to Sewells.)

Our Warranty company assigned this company to a work order for multiple problems.  Twice the tech did not show up at the scheduled time.  Neither time did they call us.  We had to call them, wait on hold for a half hour or more and get a new time.  The next time, he still didn't show. This time, they at least called us after he was to be there and rescheduled.  When he finally did come, he fixed the leaks and adjusted the water pressure but said he didn't do toilets.  What???  When we finally got him back again, he said our warranty plan didn't cover toilets, which it does. The warranty issued a recall and H&H plumbing scheduled an appointment.  This morning they sent a text message cancelling it.  When I called, after a 35 minute hold, they said I never had an appointment. Call the warranty company.  This is Ridiculous!!!!

My home warranty company sent these guys to my house.  I paid $60 for them to tell me that i would need to have over $600 worth of work done in order for them to fix my clogged main line.  I sent them home and got a quote for the same work from a different company for half that amount.  When the new company came out to do the work, it turns out that i didn't even need anything dug up and installed after all!  They were able to fix my clog with no problems and for only $150.

I called Hers & His to tell them what the other company did for me and their response was that the OTHER plumbers didn't do things correctly and they weren't going to debate prices.  This issue isn't about the price, it's about them recommending unnecessary work and then charging double to complete it!

DO NOT USE Hers & His even if you have a home warranty.  They are a rip off and only want to take your money.

UNBELIEVABLE! This is a review we were hoping we would not have to post as the outcome of what this company has done is a bit scary knowing that there are people who depend on companies like them to assist in emergencies.

Our company had a tenant who had a tankless water heater burst earlier this month and not only did it take over a week for us to get on their calendar for the repair, but they ended up ordering the wrong water heater, so our tenant had to wait another week to be rescheduled.

Due to this error, our company's blemish free record with AHA was ruined and our company's payments stopped for this property as it looked as though our company didn't want to make the repair although it was due to the error of Hers and His Plumbing.

When we contacted Hers and His Plumbing, we spoke with Taya who advised they had an opening for Sunday and wanted to know if our office is open on Sunday so they could obtain payment first. We advised that our office was closed, however, due to the errors already made by their company and the severe delays this has caused for our tenant and her two small boys in not having hot water for so long, it would only be fair to put our tenant on their soonest schedule to alleviate the first problem caused. Then they could simply contact our office when we open Monday morning for payment although most companies send an invoice once services have been completed.

Taya advised that she was in agreement and would discuss the same with her manager(s) in hopes to get us on their schedule for Sunday. She came back to the phone to advise that her managers said the best they could do, even after all they've caused, was to have their General Manager/the manager of that department call us in a week.

My mouth dropped to the floor in total disbelief that they would dump us off for ANOTHER a week after all of the delays they caused. It just hurt our manager to the core that they wouldn't put the needs of the client, which is our company, and the tenant who's small boys have been without hot water for a few weeks waiting on them to make the repair, FIRST.

The world is already FULL of uncaring people. SERVICE MATTERS. If we make an error, as a company or in relation to a company we are working with, we would be running to make that right. Hers and His Plumbing did not do that.

Taya was in agreement, however, she needed the technician to agree to put it on the schedule for Sunday and then just contact our office Monday morning after sending an invoice. Blake got on the phone and despite knowing the damage they've caused to the well-being of these children with the delays, the damage they caused to our company by not completing the job when they said they would and making us look bad, would not get our tenants on their soonest calendar which is Sunday. The only other option given to our company is to have our tenant wait another week for another opening since we are not open on Sunday which we would not have to do if they'd not made the errors they made to begin with. JUST HORRIBLY SAD. It was like they wanted us to make the tenant pay for it or SOMEBODY pay for it on Sunday when the office is closed and BEFORE they actually did the job. That was already concerning as there was not even an invoice yet.

We never thought for one second that they would not do the right thing by putting this client on their soonest calendar for Sunday to avoid further delays and damage to our reputation as a business. They could care less what their carelessness has done to our name with AHA and our tenant. If you want dependable and caring...THIS IS NOT IT. We can't even tell you if they did a wonderful job or a horrible job because they want us to pay first and then we get what we get. Praying we'll be able to update this review with them doing the right thing.

Very challenging to schedule appointment times with them.  They didn't show up as promised.   One of the most unpleasant customer service experiences in quite a while.  They really just don't care about good customer service.

Shop around for a better company. would not recommend this group to anybody.

Took 2 weeks to install replacement water heater.

After first week, the technician did not respond to my texts nor my phone calls. Customer service (CS)was apathetic, not caring &, sometimes, just plain rude. The same mantra stated over & over by different CS agents: 'It's the warranty company's fault, not ours & there's nothing we can do.'

Would not recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

Window for service was 11-2pm. Did not receive a call from this company saying that a technician would not show at my appointment  until 1230. For further inconvenience, a family member had come from out of town for me so that I could go to work. I work at a hospital 30 minutes out of town, and cannot leave. I don't know if this company doesn't sense urgency or if they only have one tech that does everything. Very disappointed. May have to use them again, not by choice but due to warranty company.

Not good.  They charged 350 to clear my drain and wouldn't make it good when it quit again 4 hours later.  I cleared it with a drain king hose attachment and had to fix the toilet flange the plumber put in wrong.

I had a tech from hers and his come to my house to inspect my leaking water heater. My home warranty company picked the company, home protect. The first visit Milan said I had a roof leak and left. Well I had just had a new roof put on and I called the roofer to inspect for this leak. None was found and I    called and asked for a re visit from hers and his. Milan once again came except now he says my water heater is leaking and I need to pay $847 out of pocket to bring the everything up to code. Well I said I would have to think about that. The home warranty agreed to pay for a new heater but not for the code violations. I have now had a local code inspector come to the house and he has reported that everything Milan claimed was wrong was completely incorrect. Milan lied to defraud us out of almost $900! When I called hers and his to complain I got the run around and could not even talk to a mgr! I live in the Memphis, TN area. If you are thinking about using this company, think again!!

Would not recommend this company. Referred to them by American Home Shield for 2 repairs on house we moved into a month ago. For first repair of water heater, the tech was excellent. He came the next day and replaced the element in our water heater. For the 2nd repair, we contacted AHS on a Sat, but the tech could not come until Mon. It was a small leak so there was no hurry. On Mon, the tech found that the previous homeowner had put a clamp on a pipe and sprayed it with foam. He removed all the foam to find the leak which left the water bubbling slightly from the pipe. He quoted $1500 to repair the pipe not including fixing our tile floor or the drywall and baseboard of which AHS would only pay $1000 for everything. The worst part was he couldn't fix it until Fri because he said he needed to go home to SC for personal reasons (his company said he needed to rent equipment when they called to confirm). He told us we would need to decide whether to leave the water on or off because in FL, houses built before 2000 can only be shut off at the street with a special tool. We decided to leave it on since we just moved from PA and had nowhere else to stay. He recommended laying towels. Fortunately, we were able to locate an on / off valve beside our house after he left and use it to turn on the water for showers, etc. The tech arrived Friday and spent about 2 hours jack hammering our floor. He asked us to turn the water on and off a few times while he yelled from the closet where the pipe was. At one point, he asked if he could fill the hole back up with sand instead of concrete which we declined because we wanted to put the tile back down. After almost 3 hours, he said he was unable to proceed because he had found a 3rd leak. He would take the $1000 from AHS and we really owed the additional but he wouldn't blame us if we didn't pay it. We said he couldn't just leave us again with no water to which he had no response except he couldn't proceed and we probably needed to replumb. He said it probably wouldn't be more than $6000. We asked if he could give an exact quote. He said he didn't have time. We asked when he could come back if we wanted it done. He said he didn't know when he'd have the manpower. As we were calling Hers and His, he packed his things and left not even shutting our garage door. When we turned the water on, it now fills the pit he made in 5 seconds. He left our toilet disconnected and the pit still open. His company said a manager would call in 5 min. 10 min later, they said she would call in 5. 20 min later she called and said she needed to talk to the tech. 4 hours later we called back and she didn't remember what was going on with us because she had so many things going on and she would need to call the tech. At this point, we were very frustrated because it was almost 3 on a Friday and we had no water after having limited water for a week. She called back and said they will not be back. AHS paid them the $1000 and they are done. We believe the tech either misdiagnosed how serious the issue was or unintentionally made the issue worse with his jack hammering. We understand things happen but we feel it was more than he could handle or he would have gone out of his way to get the job of replumbing the house. His company seems to feel like they got $1000 out of it so they're happy. Very frustrated that Hers and His accepted payment for a job they didn't complete and left worse than when they started. Now we are heading into the weekend with no quote and no idea when we can get someone here to replumb. With no water, we will need to get a hotel in the meanwhile with 2 dogs and a son who starts at a new school on Monday. Not to mention cleaning up the mess he left. Gave one star only because the 1st tech was excellent. If you call Hers and His, hopefully you will get him and not Jason.

Horrible - just horrible. A technician came to my home in Knoxville. Made the problems worse, created new problems, didn't resolve original problems. He lied to the warranty company in order to negate our warranty -- probably because he didn't know how to fix a leaky faucet. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was not offered any help or solution. I can see paying a service fee to get something fixed, even for someone to attempt to fix something, but to actually make things worse and then walk out the door was just so wrong.

I had a leaking shower faucet. The plumber was nice, quickly identified the issue, and fixed it.  Overall, it was worth the value.  Unfortunately, we did have to wait three days before someone could come to my house.  Three days of drip...drip...drip...drip...drip...

On July 5, 2017 we had a pluming issue. A plumber from His and Hers plumbing was dispatched to our home. He diagnosed a leaking valve on the outside of our home as caused by water pressure issues but having not tested the water pressure. The His and Hers plumber then recommended $530.00 worth of repairs including a water filter that he said was necessary for sediment. I am on City  water no sediment according to the plumber for the city. I refused the offer and called the City of Sanford. The City of Sanford sent out the city plumber within a half hour after the plumber from His and Hers left. They found no pressure issues and stated that water pressure cannot be isolated to one house that is connected to city water as our house is, all connected the house would be affected. The City of Sanford plumber stated that a licensed plumber should have known that.  The city found a reading of 20 open 50 closed. I called a separate plumber from Dain Genie and paid for the repair of the leaking valve costing $155.00. The Drain Genie plumber stated that those valves fail frequently in Florida because of the intense heat from exposures to the sun. I would not recommend HIs and Hers.

Hers and His Plumbing has continually helped me out over the years, and is my go-to plumber. It's been for relatively minor things, but my water heater just broke. The day they got my warranty claim, they were able to get me in next day for their first appointment, and then they were able to replace the water heater the same day as the first appointment. I'm so grateful! Cody and Ryan were absolutely awesome and really tried their best to help me. I appreciate it so much!

The sheer lack of professionalism displayed by every person I've interacted with at this company is absolutely stunning. On two separate occasions I've been forced to use this company by my home warranty, but I now would rather pay full price for a plumber than deal with this incompetent team. Both times I've been forced to use them I've had my appointment cancelled less than an hour before they were supposed to arrive. Putting me in a bind as I had taken off work to be there as the issue needed to be resolved. The first time I let them reschedule only to have the lazy sod they sent over be unwilling to remove my toilet from its anchors to check for a leak. Today I was told there was nothing they could do to get anyone out to my house. Even though this appointment has been scheduled for 5 business day's. How poorly managed can you be? Anyone reading this please go elsewhere or you'll be sorely disappointed.

Update: three months after no showing for the second time I get a text saying they aren't going to be able to make their scheduled appointment from THREE MONTHS AGO. Thanks for proving my point. See attached photo.

This company was sent out by our warranty company on 2 separate occasions. On the 2nd occasion the technician that came out actually LIED to the warranty company about what the problem was so that she didn't have to fix it. My husband was in the room with her when she let the warranty company know the issue (a covered issue) but in her final report she called the repair something other than it was and has caused us a week of phones calls trying to get it fixed. The warranty company is horrible too but the issue started with this plumber.

Short of this: a couple of good people, prices fixed and absurd in some instances.

This plumbing company gets dispatched by First American Home Buyers Warranty and American Home Shield and as such with what I do I've had them show up a lot.

They charged $600 to install 2 water pressure regulators.  The part is $30, the labor is 20 minutes, even at $175 an hour rate we're looking at $220 total for an hour or work.  I was told I needed these in place for the home warranty company to honor their contract even though the excess possible water pressure was not the reason I as having that particular problem.

Had a water heater go out, the little short style ones, they quoted me $1600 to replace it, I said no, called Lowes and had it installed by a team the next day for a little under $500.  Got a call from their manager shortly after that saying they had misquoted the price and I told him it seemed weird to me that a professional plumber would be over $1000 off of what the standard rate was.

I saw them many a time throughout the years, most recently for an emergency dispatch (my guy was on the other side of the continent) in which they determined that the issue was immediately under the toilet.  I actually really dug this guy they sent out, but it still was a situation where you take the toilet off, remove annoying blockage (stupid piece of plastic off of a Clorox flushablesthingie) and put toilet back down.  Price was too high, but this was the only notably good service I ever had from them.

Average plumbers (except the last one who really totally rocked) insane prices and spiffy vans.  They have no ability to work with you, and if you've got them as part of a warranty company you can bet they'll be inspecting everything to try and upsell you on what you need for your warranty to work.

I normally don't leave negative reviews, but I would avoid this company if possible. We sent in an emergency call with our home warranty as a pipe was leaking near our breaker box. The service call was scheduled between 2-5 pm and was told the technician would call us when enroute. We decided to catch an 10:50 matinee with our kids. I called afterwards at 12:54 and Candace confirmed the technician would be there but said the time would be 1-4 pm (different but per her he was wrapping up with another customer). Not even five minutes later we see the truck leaving our house (gotta love Ring products). I call Candace back and told her we were 15-20 minutes away and she says ok. The technician comes to our door not even 5 minutes later in which my husband tells him we were approximately 5 minutes away in which he walks away saying he had other clients to see. She calls back saying the technician had another appointment and couldn't come back til Monday!!! Mind you...our initial window is 2-5, but even if it's 1-4 (which is what's Candace stated it was) why would you have another client to see at 1:15? Also, it's not wise for your technicians to call people from No Caller Is numbers. I along with the average person gets Robocalls and solicitation calls left and right everyday...they get pushed to the voicemail. If you do decide on this POOR PRACTICE at least have the decency to leave a message!!!
Eventually Candace admitted that she scheduled it wrong and didn't take into consideration that we're an hour ahead of them (they're based out of Nashville). Their solution is to have a technician come out between 2-5 on MONDAY!!! So much for that EMERGENCY!!! The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the technician and lack of disregard by THEIR MISTAKE (although an honest one) has led to us deciding on NOT doing business with this company.

We had our water heater go out on us on Sunday .  Through our home warranty we wanted His And Hers to come out to fix it be cause they had done stuff for us before at our old house in Brentwood.  They were not able to come out till Monday which was ok.  They called me on Monday morning to see if the technician could come out earlier that the proposed time.  I said that would  be awesome.  Cody shows up 20 mins later.   He tells me that I need a new water heater.   I called the warranty company and they said it was going too be 3 to 5 business days  to get the water heater ordered and shipped. Cody talked to his boss. Because the holidays were coming up, they said they would replace it with one they had in the truck and replace their stock with the one they get from the warranty company.  First class all the way thank you so very much for saving our Thanksgiving!!!!!

I had the experience of working with them twice through my home warranty company(it was the same guy both times) The first time, it was to fix a toilet that was running. The repair lasted about 45 days. Since it was more than 30 days, I would have had to pay another service call. I bought a $5 flap and fixed it myself. The second time, it was because my garbage disposal quit working and the sink was not draining. The plumber got it unjammed so that it would drain. He said that he didn't think the disposal was getting any electric supply, so he couldn't fix it. Fast forward 3-4 months, the sink quit draining again. Called a different plumber and he fixed it in 10 minutes. There wasn't any problem with the electric. Don't waste your money on hers and his.

They were dispatched through my warranty company to my rental house n(Nashville, TN) in January. (I live in Atlanta, GA) They are fully aware that I do not live at the residence. They came out and met the tenant. I spoke with the gentleman there to make the repair on 2 occasions the day the repairs were made. I never heard from anyone after that. Fast forward to June and they send me to collections for an unpaid bill. They stated that they sent a letter to the rental home but got no response. So when asked why it was sent there when they know I take care of the bill and do not reside there, they said that's just where they sent it.
NO PHONE CALLS, 1 LETTER TO A KNOWN WRONG ADDRESS AND FIVE MONTHS LATER THEY SEND $167 TO COLLECTION TO CAUSE MY GREAT CREDIT SCORE TO TAKE A HIT.
(NOT TO MENTION THEY HAVE DONE WORK FOR ME IN THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS, SO THEY KNOW I DO NOT LIVE THERE)
Thanks for the hit to my credit over $167!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, EVER!!!! Had a horrible experience with this company. I called my warranty company because my hot water heater was not working and they dispatched these people. It took three days to get an appointment. They came on a Friday and supposedly fixed the problem (the technician said it was loose wiring). The hot water worked for two hours and then stopped. I had already been without hot water for four days and then had to wait until Monday to call them back. Called them and they told me I had to call the Warranty company again. Called the Warranty company, but then didnt' hear from HIS and HERs. I called them and they told me it would be another two days before they could come back, even though their incompetence was the reason I was without hot water.

This was our first experience with Hers & His Plumbing and after a deplorable experience with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, Hers & His ROCKED!!!!  Aaron came in diagnosed the problem immediately I had 2 sinks and a toilet repaired in less than 40 minutes and a little less than $300. Worst company ever!!!!!  RUN RUN RUN!!! Toilet was backed up. The technicians were rude, arrogant and acted like they could care less about fixing our plumbing problems.  The first guy after flushing our toilet to overflowing left gunk and filth in the commode and on the rim and pretty much told me it was our problem to clean and that another guy would come with the proper equipment tomorrow. Now we're on day 2 of being with no toilet. I called the home office to complain. Second tech came next day with just as horrible attitude. I asked him a couple of questions which he totally ignored. His responses were short, curt and down right rude. He claimed the toilet was too narrow to snake which I don't believe. Claimed the only way to unclog the toilet was through a clean out which we unfortunately did not have and is not covered in our plan. I noticed that he knocked on the door and was much friendlier when he quoted me an out of pocket cost of almost 2K to dig a clean out. I'd rather pay another reputable professional company 3K for a cleanout. I don't trust this company nor their home office. WILL NEVER HAVE THEM BACK AGAIN!!!!  I would have have given them 0 starts if I could have. This is a sorry *** company. Are Tyler and Jonathan really plumbers?

We had a few items like a leaking sink and slow drains that needed to be fixed per our home warranty. We had them out to fix the short list of repairs, and when they left, we noticed that night that the sink was still leaking and the slow drain had not been fixed. We called and had to resubmit everything to our warranty company. The same gentleman came back out to try again to fix the issues, and at this point we also wanted a water line placed for our refrigerator. He repaired the leaking sink but stated that he forgot about the slow drain. He tried to snake it and fix it, but when unable, told me I should just go buy some drano. When I argued that I had previously been told by plumbers NOT to use Drano, he still encouraged me to do so (I did not). He placed a water line in a way that, arguably, could have been better done by a 5th grader. There was no stop valve behind the fridge, and the water line was NOT placed in the location that we had discussed, he drilled through our crown molding and wall, left it hanging on the visible wall, and draped it over existing screws in the closet where it was attached to the hot water heater. I was displeased with the install, and asked how he planned to secure it. He told me to go to the electrical section and Lowe's and I could buy brackets and do that myself. Needless to say, my husband lost it when he came home and saw it. His supervisor was notified and came out to look at the work. He wanted the plumber to come and fix the work, but myself as well as my husband emphatically stated that that plumber was not step foot back into our house for any further work. Guess who showed up to repair it! This review gets 2 stars because the end work looks nice. But the unprofessionalism and failure for the supervisor to respect our wishes regarding who did the fix was pretty disappointing. It took 4 visits for basic work. I would not recommend.

It took 3 days to get an appointment, despite the fact that my hot water heater is leaking. Took the day off work, which was difficult given the economy and the needs of my employer. Long story short - the plumber never showed up!

When I called about it, the lack of concern was palpable! They said they would come the next day. Another day off work and who knows if they will even show up.

I can't get over their total lack of caring and flippant disregard for my circumstances.

Very disappointed. Called out through American Home Shield and technician found ways to ensure our plumbing issue wouldn't be covered by AHS. Then gave us a quote for WAY more work than we needed to fix the issue. My friend who is a general contractor bought the piece needed for $17 and installed it in minutes. Hers and His claimed we needed to tear out a wall and replace whole unit. They quoted $650 and we'd have to pay out of pocket.
Warning, they don't want to do the job through AHS. They will call AHS and give them some lame reason to void waranty, then they'll turn around and give you quote for you to pay out of pocket for their company to fix problem.

Horrible, terrible, rude, slow. Those are only a handful of words to describe the service. As many people leaving reviews, I was assigned to this company through the home warranty company. My kitchen sink faucet waterline broke and as you can imagine, it is very complicated with a family of 5 not having a kitchen sink for days. The appointments are far away, their customer service is not helpful and borderline rude, the technician that came was in a rush to leave and extremely rude. It's been almost two weeks and they have not fixed the issue! If you're assigned this company through your home warranty, ask immediately for a different vendor or you will regret it

I ignored all the negative comments and it was worth it!!  Our technician Adam G was awesome.  Great communication the day before arriving, arrived on time and did an Awesome job installing our replacement water heater!  Adam worked with me dealing with the home warranty company and made the process so much better.

The other reviews included references to the home warranty company, and yes they are a pain in the @$$,  but working with Hers & His dispatch  and especially Adam G made it so much better!

I would avoid these guys if at all possible. Didn't honor their 1 to 4 appointment window, calling me at 11:30 to tell me they can't get anyone out to look at my AC and the next appointment time is a full week away. Made no effort to try and work something out to get someone out any sooner. I understand things happen or of your control but good customer service would be a bit flexible and a little more accommodating. Perhaps you're so busy you don't need my business. I won't be using you in the future.

Waste of time and money, don't use.  Home Warranty company sent this company out to FIX our problem with a backed up toilet.  They pulled the toilet, said Yup the line is backed up, reinstalled the toilet and stuck their hand out for the $100 service fee.  For What?!  The tech told me that he wasn't allowed to bring the equipment (that would fix the problem) into the house per company policy.  So I called Rescue Rooter who came out, pulled the toilet (using the electric snake which Hers and His had but wouldn't use), and fixed the problem for $300.  Why should I pay $100 for a company to tell me what I already knew??  What a SCAM!  You are a plumbing company, FIX the plumbing issue or don't claim to be a real plumbing company.  Tech told me to just sign the paperwork and his company would talk to the Home Warranty company and work it out.  I received an invoice in the mail for the $100.  -Mark Bedford, TX

We had an issue with our master bath toilet. Called our Home Warranty company and they assigned us to Hers and His. The first appointment was on a Thursday afternoon from 1p-4p. I asked if they had anything on a weekend as my husband and I both work Monday thru Friday. Their first Saturday appointment was 3 weeks away so my husband took time off from work to sit at home and wait for them. One hour before our appointment window, we were called and told that the technician for our area had called out sick. The next available time frame would be the following Monday from 2p-5p. This is ridiculous. They didn't care at all that my husband had to burn a vacation day to sit at home and wait, there was no effort on their part to try to rectify this situation. They wouldn't even try to pull a technician from another area to come help us out since they cancelled last minute. Their suggestion was to call our Home Warranty company and request another vendor. I will never call them again and will make sure everyone I know knows exactly how inefficient and unhelpful they are. Customer Service means nothing to them.

Came out to my house as a part of a home warranty to inspect a leaking pipe.  Turned out to be the drain pipe from the toilet and shower leaking into our basement. They told the warranty company it was an improper install so the warranty company wouldn't have to pay for it. Clearly there  is an arrangement here.  Will never use Hers and His again.

THEY USE CHEAP UNRELIABLE PARTS Our home warranty company sent Hers and His plumbing to our house to replace the inside flushing mechanism in our toilet. I have never seen a cheaper handle in my life. It was like a tinker toy. It broke after a week. I called them back to fix it.. thinking they would put something more substantial in, and they literally bent the metal, lowered the chain and left.. then called my home warranty company and told them we flushed too hard. I've been flushing toilets for 48 years, I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that it was the dollar store handle..not the flusher.

Do not use this scamming company. American Home Shield dispatched them to look at drops of water coming through my ceiling, below the bathroom. Brannon, the plumber arrived and I showed him the ceiling and the bathroom. There was absolutely no water on the bathroom floor. After I went back downstairs to let the plumber look around, he called me into the bathroom and said here is the problem. Water was everywhere. He said a valve or nut was lose and he had to replace it. I started putting down towels to dry the floor. The plumber called Serclean company to come and check for moisture and he left. Serclean said the toilet was still leaking and the supply line was broke. At the end of the day, my bathroom is still inoperable and Serclean charged my insurance company $7700 to dry the bathroom subfloor. These two companies are scamming insurance companies and customers together. DO NOT USE EITHER!

Came to fix my toilet and left me without water service. By the time the mistake was noticed, it was after office hours. Called their after hours emergency number twice and was told that they would page someone. Never got a call back. Called the emergency number a third time and the same operator told me that they just relay the message to the office for the morning. Clearly unwilling to solve a problem that they created. The worst service. So disappointing.

Great, fast, very courteous service. Highly recommended.
I have used their services twice and I felt like I was dealing with competent, intelligent, honest people both times. There are very few services these days where you get decent quality of service, much less the excellent quality this company provides. I will use them for all of my plumbing needs.

NO CALL, NO SHOW - they were selected by my home warranty company, they were supposed to call me but never did. I called and scheduled the appointment. I was given a 3 hour window in the middle of the day. At the end of the window, I had still not heard anything from them. I called again and was told that there was only one person that they had that wasn't in Kingston Springs and that person had just gotten to the appointment ahead of mine but they could schedule another appointment the next day. After already missing a day of work without any notifications, I was a little aggravated. I wanted to hold out for service that day. A few minutes later they called and told me that the person left for a personal emergency and that they MIGHT be able to squeeze me in the following day, but they couldn't give me any time frame. I called the warranty company and got my claim reassigned.

Be warned - if your time is valuable and reliability is important to you Hers & His Plumbing is not for you.  I confirmed my appointment twice, after scheduling around their availability.  Late in the day of my appointment they called and told me they could not make it - and found it odd I'd be unhappy.  So, they wasted 3 hours of my time waiting for them and then they left me with an unresolved plumbing issue.  Anybody know a real plumber, it is surely not these guys!

This company was dispatched to my home in Orlando (isn't that weird when they are based in Nashville. That should have been a red flag to me) for a home warranty that I have with First American. Plumber wrote in his report that the tank was forcefully broken and therefore the warranty company denied my claim for the leaking toilet. How in the heck did he determine that the tank was forcefully broken? He said that tanks never crack on their own Complete B.S. That tank could have been defective in manufacturing, it could have been fired and glazed incorrectly, etc. I never did anything forceful to that tank. That plumber tweaked me out of having my home warranty coverage getting me a new toilet by his B.S. arbitrary fact less opinion. You suck buddy and your business sucks.

Hers and His Plumbing was referred to us by our home warranty company.  The plumber they sent showed up, pushed me aside on the way into the house without any greeting, and proceeded to be rude the whole time he was there.  My home warranty company denied my claim, so I asked him how much it would cost to repair the leak.  He insisted it would take heavy equipment and thousands of dollars to repair.  Wanting a second opinion due to the cost, I called a second plumber.  The second plumber came out quickly and did the job for less than a quarter of the cost Hers and His Plumbing quoted us.  Even better, the second plumber was friendly and respectful.  Next time I need plumbing work through our warranty company, I will refuse it if they assign Hers and His Plumbing - never again!

As bad as it gets. I don't ever recall talking to worst customer service folks. These guys make Comcast look like they have good customer service. They first scheduled a 4 hour window of arrival. After waiting for them all day they called to inform me that they will not send anyone. When I explained that rescheduling does not work for me, they said they will have a tech that is close by call me to try to come in at the same day. Later, I got a second call from the most rude unaccommodating representative telling me that I have been rescheduled to a different day and that talking to their techs directly is against their policy. Somehow they believe that their time is the only time of value. If I ran my business like this, I would have been begging in the streets a long time ago. Avoid like the plague!

I wanted to update my previous review of Hers and His Plumbing. I revised the star rating to 3 not because the service I experienced originally had changed, but because of the service afterward. After posting my original review I was messaged by the owner of the company he wanted to follow up on my experience. He contact the GP of the Florida location (Troy) to follow up with me. Troy did call and he listened to all that happened. He expressed his concern and his assurance that what we had experienced is not how the like to do business and not what is expected of their employees. He assured me that this particular employee was not representative of all of his employees. If any company takes the time to address unpleasant experiences with a personal phone call I will have to say they are concerned enough to follow up. That in my book is good customer service.

This plumber was hired through my plumbing warranty through american water resources i had a leak on my hot water lines my hot water lines were copper the plumber did not have enough copper to repair the line he only had pex so he cut the broken copper and replaced it with pex so i have some copper and some pex the truck should have been supplied with more copper he ran out of copper or he could have went to the plumbing supply to buy copper being that this was not a local plumber to philadelphia pa he could not have gone back to resupply the truck with more copper. I guess this is more of american water resources fault for not using a local plumbing contractor that was in the neighborhood. But the pipe should have been replaced with copper since copper was already there or replace the whole line with pex.

DO NOT USE!  TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! We had a leak from an upstairs pipe which caused waterspots
And mold on our downstairs ceiling. Hers and His
Was sent out by my home warranty company. They came about a week
After the request was made.  The plumber told me he would change
Out the pipe and I should just spray the spots
With bleach.  After trying to fix the pipe he tells me he will have to
Come back in a week to cut through the ceiling to fix it and it will take him 3
Hours. I take off half a day from work only to find out 30 min before the appoinent time frame was up that he had a problem at the site before mine and he wouldn't make it to my house that day.  I told them he would have to come back on a Saturday because my husband or I couldn't take off again.  They said the soonest sat appt would be 2 and a half weeks from that day unless the plumber would agree to work on the Saturday one and a half weeks earlier.  They let me know the next day he would. He showed up and cut a hole in our ceiling and less than an hour later said he was done and of course asked for the money immediately.  After he left I found shoe prints all through my house where plaster from the ceiling was on his shows because he did not wear shoe covers as the company promises the plumbers will do.  Next Morning my husband and I take showers upstairs and go downstairs to find a big puddle in the floor where the leak was supposed to have been fixed.  We called the plumber and he told us we would have to call our warranty company back.  He was very rude and completely unconcerned with the fact that he had not done his job.  We have had too many problems with this company and have spent almost a month trying to get it fixed!  Do not use this company if you don't have too!

Hers and His installed a hot water heater in my son's home. Unfortunately, neither my son nor I are schooled in building codes, and the installation was not completed to code. Alas, when my son sold his house, the inspector advised that the water heater needed to be brought to code. Hers and His sent Billy who has revived an excellent rating above, but from our experience the reviewer must be related to him. Billy was rude, cussing and yanking at the poor offending ductwork, causing significant damage. To add insult to injury, Billy shut off the gas and left the parts where he had cast them. My son, his wife, and three year old daughter have been without hot water for two days and we are uncertain when we can get another qualified person to repair the damage. When questioned, the corporate representative, Robert Davis, denied any culpability on their part and refused further assistance. If you need customer service and honesty, you will not find it here.

I would not recommend them simply based on the lack of care and concern given me by the person who called to set up the appointment.  She was unfazed by a plea to have a service guy call me about stopping the flow of water into my basement from a burst water heater because it was Saturday and she could only make me an appointment for Monday.  She said she would have someone call but no one ever called.  I complained via e-mail to the company and did receive a call stating that they had listened to the recording of the before mentioned call and did agree with me that the appointment lady did seem very unconcerned and that they were sorry.

Through my Home warranty a plumber was sent to look at a toilet which he removed and saw that the pipe was cracked, this plumber left my toilet in the middle of the room and apparently vanished off the face of the earth. Weeks later they sent Hers & His who took a quick look a few pics and called my home warranty company and told them it looked like a DIY job gone wrong. I had explained 3x what had happened and just blew me off in a rude manner....will never use this company!

Called a plumber after moving into my home due to no hot water. Hers and His Plumber came and told me I needed upper and lower water heater elements replaced for $400. I said forget it becase I could get a new one for that. I called a different plumbing company and found out the problem was actually crossed water lines and a bad breaker. I would have been ripped off $400 had I listened to Hers and His plumbing

This company is involved, in my opinion, in a scam with Home Warantee of America.  I used them through HWA for a leaking water hook up for my washing machine in a  home I just purchased.  The technician started work BEFORE telling me that HWA was not going to cover my claim, so I had no option but to let him finish the job and pay in full out of pocket.  He had to cut out a section of my drywall to access the pipes, which he did not fix or replace and I still have a lovely hole in my wall.  That is very unprofessional.  Furthermore, he went to shut off the water to my home at my hot water heater and was unable to turn the knob and advised that I call HWA so that he could also look at that issue.  My husband came home that night and I told him the tech said the knob was broken.  My husband went out and turned it and it's not even broken!  So fast forward to the end of the tech's visit and he gives me the bill for nearly 250 dollars.  He then informs me that I owe an EXTRA 100 dollars over that for a service fee!!!!!  He claimed it was an expense that HWA charges.  I refused to pay the extra fee.  I called HWA and they informed me that Hers and His Plumbing was billing them for not one service call, but two!!!!!  So they are billing me for 200 dollars in service fees because of that extra claim I  made on the knob not turning that the technician told me to call in.  He never even looked at the knob further than telling me it was broken, when it wasn't.  Totally ridiculous!!  So I call HWA to contest the charges and they tell me the charges are coming from Hers and His Plumbing, and that I need to contact them. So I call the plumbing company, they tell me that no, the fee is an HWA fee and I need to call them!  So I ask the person I spoke with at the plumbers, Elena, to get on a 3 way call with HWA so we can get this ironed out.  She uses the excuse that the doesn't have HWA's number, so I give her their number.  She refuses to get on a 3 way call.  She knows that I've caught them both in a scam and doesn't want to get cornered.  I've filed a claim against HWA with the BBB and may also file one against Hers and His Plumbing if these bogus charges are not dropped.  Stay away from this crooked company!!!!  There are good honest companies out there, this is not one of them.

Our call was to our warranty co. about our shower leaking into our kitchen- our warranty co. stated seemed likely a pipe leak- was covered- this is a shower stall next to our jetted tub in our master bathrm... that being said plumber came out saw where water was coming from - stated he had to cut into our ceiling( tells me 'of course that would be fixed') in kitchen to see pipes- he cuts a 1 foot square-ish type hole and states not the pipes- now from where I was looking I explained that was where the tub pipe was not the shower- he assured me i was wrong!! of course I shut up before I got really pissed! he stated it could be our drain was pan ( unlikely) or our shower grout weak/missing and allowing water to come in- NOT COVERED he states- he submits the drain pan is broke , leaking and takes my $100. co-pay and leaves stating someone would be contacting me to fix our ceiling goes by - I contact warranty co. I state what occurred- meanwhile we hired a grout specialist to re-grout and re-caulk entire shower- LEAK fixed! meanwhile I hire a plumber on my own to replace my jetted tub as it was old-not working- find out the hole that was cut in my ceiling simply showed my jetted tub drain and pipe- NOT MY SHOWER - that was 2 ft further and could not be seen as there was a beam in way- my warranty co. assure me his n her plumbing will FIX my ceiling as #1. they did not get prior apporval to cut into it from warranty co. and #2 they misdiagnosed the problem- all this said- never heard from warranty co. or his her plumbing except a letter stating they do not cover secondary damage-contact Hn H plumbing they state they could not diagnose without cutting what did I expect- I explain i did not expect their RUDENESS nor lack of competence! i would check certification from anyone this co. sends to work in your home, clearly the one they sent was completely incompetent!- I still have a hole its going to cost me 350. min. to have fixed!

The only reason I'm leaving 1 star is cause you can't leave 0. This place flat out LIED to me and my husband. We called them in September to have them look under our house because it started to smell funny. They did and told me that I had multiple pipes under my house that were rusted through. That I needed a new vapor barrier, that I had just had put in 6 months before and that the drain to the bathtub was completely off. We had someone else come out for a second opinion and guess what the DIDNT FIND. -Any- of the things Hers and His said. Nothing. Not the drain off of the tub. Not multiple pipes that were draining under our house. Nothing. They did find 1 pipe that needed to be replaced and that's it. A $3,000 job turned into a $100 fix. I will never use this company again. Ever.

We needed 3 toilets installed. So far, 1 toilet traps air in the pipe and explodes water (and debris) out the toilet bowl every time its flushed. Another toilet has water pooling at the base on the floor. I've called multiple times but the number sounds disconnected. I'm getting rejections when trying to send them emails as well.
