I spoke with Mr. Hardy on the phone this morning. We had the power go out in our entire house (possibly due to a toaster, but not sure). He helped us trouble-shoot our issue, before even making an appointment. That was impressive. We lucked out & the power came back on, so we didn't end up using his services. But, based on our conversation - I would definitely recommend him!

Called Mr. Hardy at 10 AM and he had arrived and was completely done by 10:45. He replaced a 220v outlet in our server room/network closet and redid the plug coming out of an APC battery backup.

Incredibly fast and friendly service at a fair price. We'll definitely be using Hardy Electric for all of our electrical needs going forward.

First-time homeowner, and haven't needed an electrician since moving to Nashville a few years back. When one of our outlets stopped working, we went with Alan after checking his reviews online.

We are glad we did! Alan is exactly the man for the job -- took the project within 10 minutes of the call, and was at my house 15 minutes after that. He's got a ton of personality and charm; better than getting a dime-a-dozen contractor from some corporate place.

One thing to note: he only takes cash and check, so make sure you have that on you (or be ready to dig out a checkbook).

Highly recommend, will be using him in the near future when we have some actual projects to get done.

Mr. Hardy was great!! I was in a bad situation and he made it so much better. I manage a rental property in Bellevue and my tenant called about flckering lights. The meter had burned up. Based on a friend recommending Mr. Hardy, I called him after 7 PM one evening. He helped me immediately and communicated throughout the process. He fixed the problem quicky and even fixed a couple things that were potential fire hazards on the attaching unit at no cost. He was so nice, helpful, inexpensive, quick, and just amazing.

Alan Hardy is the gold standard in electric expertise, customer service and fair pricing. I can't say enough good things about the company. I had three master plummers out that my contractor recommended. None of them could fix any of the issues. My son suggested Hardy Electric and within an hour this delightful man had fixed every single issue. I am trying to save you thousands of dollars (that I lost) by encouraging you to by-pass every other company and go directly to this one.

He goes on his own calls. Even when I said my situation wasn't an emergency, he came out immediately and has my house running again.

I called Hardy Electric for a quote to move a washer/dryer outlet to another room of my house. Instead of giving me a quote, he actually immediately gave me a referral to another electric company. I just wanted to leave a review because he was so nice on the phone, and I genuinely LOVE local businesses that are willing to send you to the right person. Makes me trust that this is a good, upright company which won't take advantage of you, and will know their limits as a provider. If I need anything electrically in the future I'll always call here first because of this honest and pleasant interaction!

So hard to get great service these days. I called Hardy Electric when my A/C went out due to an electrical issue. He was onsite within an hour and had it running soon after. The service is almost too good to be true. The bill was fair, especially for the responsiveness. Highly recommend.

Alan is an excellent electrician who will answer your phone call himself, troubleshoot over the phone, show up promptly within 24 hours and do superb work. He is also one of the finest individuals I've had the pleasure of meeting in a long time. Mr. Hardy is awesome! I called in the evening with a problem and had to leave a message. In less than 10 minutes he had returned my call and fixed the problem! I called this morning after having an issue with my master bath light that had fallen from the ceiling, sparked everywhere and blew the fuses upstairs. I had called a few other places I found on google and no one had answered or could help me today. Alan answered almost immediately and was here within a few hours to repair the fixture and lights. Extremely professional and very nice !! I would 100% use again and recommend.

We called about concerns with our power. Lights would dim when we turned on any appliance. Mr. Hardy and said it was most likely a problem with the transformer with transformer. He told us to call NES and if that was not the problem, he would come out to fix the problem. NES came and found that some squirrels had caused damage damage to a ground wire. Mr. Hardy saved us a service call by suggesting that we call NES. We appreciate his honesty.

My experience was great. I called, he happened to be in area, 15 minutes later he was at my house and fixing the problem. I had a garbage disposal that wouldn't turn off. The price was about what I thought it'd be. He's the owner and he tries to keep keep himself free to be able to do same day calls. So if you call before 12 there's a good chance he'll make it out to you the same day. I highly recommend them. He's clean, polite, professional, and nice. I've used several electricians in the past but he, by far, has left the best impression on me.

Had to get a ceiling fan installed that was a little out of my reach; I had installed ceiling fans before and was familiar with the process, just not 15 feet above the ground with a gianormous fan.

Mr Hardy called ahead and arrived slightly early, which was a very nice thing. He assembled the fan, which was a beast, and hung it from the ceiling. He was very polite and really seemed to know what he was doing.

A short time later he had mounted the fan, and showed me how to use it. His rates were very reasonable, he charges a trip rate and a charge per hours worked. I really liked how up-front he was with his pricing and gave us a very accurate quote.

I would definitely use him for any other electrical work and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone else that was looking for a skilled, competent professional electrician.

Spoke with Alan, the owner, about an electrical issue in a bedroom of a rental house. He was quick to answer and beyond pleasant on the phone. He adjusted his schedule to accommodate my tenants schedule and fixed the issue quickly. My tenant felt Alan was polite and professional and addressed all of her needs to repair the issue. I emailed Alan Hardy about an electrical question late one night (non-emergency problem), and he called me the next morning. I explained the problem we were having, and he offered to come out to the house that day (he was close by on another job).

I was concerned that he would send one of his workers out to the job, but he came himself. For this I was grateful.

One of the breakers was bad, and he replaced it. And, though he did not need to, he kindly replaced some of the bulbs.

Alan Hardy is honest, prompt, professional, and we will be using him for the next time we have an electrical problem. Since we live in Los Angeles, we need a reliable Nashville electrician we can count on in the future.

I have not yet *used* Hardy Electric but I am sure I will be calling them with any future needs.

How can I write a review then? Well... I called him with some questions related to wiring concerns in my 1930s house, expecting it to result in an on-site visit with trip charges, etc. He took the time to understand, ask direct questions and explain his viewpoint. Then he talked me out of getting service at this time because it wasn't necessary! That kind of direct, honest dealing is in short supply in this day and age.

I have an older home and recently bought a new dryer. Due to faulty wiring my dryer was unable to be installed. I called Mr. Hardy around 1 pm and explained my situation, he came out first thing the next morning. He was efficient and very pleasant.
