HISTORY

Established in 1989.
Whit Greenway, the CEO of Greenway Home Services, started as a service technician in Memphis in 1978. As a young man he was sharp with his knowledge of the trade, but he was a natural people person. He showed up when he said he was going to, he always did what he said he would and he never made promises he could not keep. We know that no person is perfect, but it is how he quickly addressed any mistake that put him above the rest. After the company he worked for was sold to a large corporation, Whit's position as service manager was terminated. He took nearly no time to weigh his options with his livelihood and with a wife and two little girls at home he quickly decided to open the doors to his own company, Home Care Services, in the fall of 1989. By constantly treating his customers how he wanted to be treated and with years of hard work and sacrifices Whit Greenway grew his company into one of the Mid South's largest service companies.

Had an Appointment for a plumber between 12 and 5 yesterday. No one showed up, no one called to cancel. No one has called today either. Terrible company to do business with. I will not recommend them to anybody.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!
They not only temporarily fixed my unit, they did a shoddy job and left the valve off of the freon that I had to have ANOTHER company come behind and do it correctly for a second repair of the season.
******If you have American Home Shield****
Request that anyone but these guys fix your unit!!!
Do NOT give them your personal credit or debit card information as they will keep phishing money off of it months and months later. Then the book keeper always seems to be in a meeting or busy. These people are slime!!! If you decide to use them...you have been fore warned!!

Absolutely horrible. The technicians who installed our new system left trash and a mess through our entire house. They didnt even bring the new thermostats at the install. So we make a Saturday appointment at 10:30 a week later for those and after 2 hours of waiting, still no phone call or technician. so i sit on hold for 30 minutes to find out I'm not even on the schedule due to emergencies. No phone. Nothing. This place is a joke. Terrible.

If you are a customer of American Home Shield, DEMAND they use an alternate service company! Greenway used RE manufactured parts, installed the incorrect parts and lied about the work they had done. Confirmed by a second company who had to repair what their tech had done.
Their employee threatened me, cussed me, got in my face and I had to call the Police. I am an under 5ft tall Grandmother, what kind of company employees thugs like that? They also charged our credit card several months later which is FRAUD! It is illegal to retain customer's credit card numbers much less use them without authorization. BEWARE!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY!!!

If I could make this a zero star review, I would.

This company was sent to my home compliments of AHS home warranty. After 6 visits, problem still wasn't solved. The water leaking from my AC  that Greenway NEVER fixed caused me to spend 3k in floor repairs. After seeing my ac unit duct taped together, I finally hired another company that immediately repaired the problem. Absolutely NO RESPONSE from management after many calls and emailS. My recommendation is RUN. FAST. THE OTHER WAY!!!!

Wow, after reading through these reviews I am glad I didn't before having my A/C serviced!  I too went through American Home Shield.  I called AHS last week after hours.  I received a call from someone with Greenway shortly thereafter.  I was given a time frame that the tech would be there between 10:00a and 2:00p the next day.  The only negative thing was that the tech hadn't called by 2:00p.  I dialed Greenway directly and was told the tech was finishing up a few miles from me and would call me shortly.  Lo and behold, less than half an hour later I received a call from Cody with a 15 minute arrival window.  My husband met him and was pleased with the service provided.  Mind you, my husband is a mechanic by trade (road construction equipment) and A/C is definitely not in his wheelhouse, but he can talk the talk in a way I cannot.

Cody explained what was wrong (something I cannot remember) and that we needed freon (which we had guessed ourselves).  Less than an hour later blissfully cool air was circulating in our home.

According to hubs, Cody was polite, professional, and accomplished what needed to be done in a proficient manner.  I am glad we did not experience what all the negative reviewers did but I am sorry they were not happy.  I even got a follow up call today to take a survey on the service.

All in all, we were pleased and we have A/C.  That's a win for us!

It pains me to give this company even 1 star. For 7 weeks we have been dealing with our a/c. First we needed to have it filled with freon - 600$. But that wasn't the problem! Then we needed a new compressor, nope that wasn't the problem either. Then we needed a coil......service rep comes to put it in and its the wrong part. Meanwhile, the whole seven weeks of this process we can't use our a/c. Trying to get any truth out of this company is a joke. No one calls back, Emily is elusive. We asked our home warranty company, American Home Shield, to send out another company to which they replied You're in the middle of a project order and we can't change to a different company. Hmmmm, might the two companies be in bed together? A definite conflict of interest here.

Because Greenway is not a member of BBB, I have turned to the local news in hopes of getting this out and having some relief from this incompetence. Looking for other ways to report this company so that there is some type of accountability.

Honestly I wish I could write less than zero but 1 / 5 is the lowest.  I'm quite disappointed and frustrated from the service I received.  Missed appointments (they make you wait for a 4-5 hour window so that's alot of time off work for each time).  Can't fix the appliance despite multiple tries -- first guy rewired it incorrectly and caused some shorts which melted a component, then they replaced.  He spent almost 7 hours at my house (much of it fixing the mistakes he made) on just the first time at my house (of many).  Refused to review the repair manual / schematic which documented how to troubleshoot the microwave, and just replaced all of the main parts which didn't fix it.   Repair persons complain of others' performance who work there.  Never apologized for poor work despite their recognizing it.  I explain my frustrations to the schedulers who just say, ok, let me try to schedule someone else to come out there.  First time I heard that anyone even cared about the poor performance was a survey that they have to call you once the service was complete -- I explained it to her and she said she'd give me VIP treatment and would promise someone would be there on the time allocated -- that was unimpressive given isn't that what they're supposed to do anyways.

TERRIBLE customer service.  They installed our system and we had one problem after another.  They were virtually impossible to reach.  We had at least 6 service calls and our system still wasn't working correctly.  Even though our system was under warranty, we decided to pay another firm to repair our unit.  They came in and found numerous problems with the installation. It took several hours to make the needed repairs, but since that day our system has been working beautifully.

Awful! Used them (only once) through our home warranty company.  Caused our faucet leak to pour (not leak).  Then tried to upsell us on a pipe leak saying it would not be covered by our home warranty but they would do it for 325!!! Called our home warranty company and had the service transferred to Plumbing Plus (AMAZING COMPANY!!!) They came out and fixed the leak.  Told us the leak was due to a valve that needed to be replaced.  (Greenway said it was a washer).  Fixed the other leak for us and said it was under warranty.  DO NOT use Greenway!  If it's through a home warranty company request another (any other) provider.  The guy also left our crawl space door open for an entire night! Thank goodness our pipes didn't freeze! Scammers these guys, stay away!

Why isn't 0 stars an option?!
Do yourself a favor and don't use this company! Very unprofessional and rude customer service agents (especially Sydney). Was scheduled through AHS and on 2 occasions I had appointments (didn't realize it was the same company) and both times they NEVER showed. The first time I waited 5 hrs total and kept calling dispatch to inquire on techs whereabouts. They  finally told me I think he must have forgotten!
Although I asked AHS to put Greenway on my list of companies I never wanted to do business with, fast forward to 2017 and they schedule me with Greenway again. Repair guy, who was very nice and diagnosed the problem, said He would put in the order and I would be contacted by dispatch so he could come back out and fix it. Well they never called but it's the busy season, I called them! Agent told me she scheduled me for today (Wednesday) from 8-12p. Seemed like a large window but hey, I need A/C. I can rearrange my schedule!
Well I waited 4 hrs before calling dispatch and was told who did I make the appointment with? You don't have any appointments scheduled! Earliest we can get you scheduled is Friday!

Save yourself the headache. Customer Service agents are worthless. Still waiting on a call from
a supervisor...

So I had my water bust and leak all over my floor. The first contractor was a joke ( Jaime Avellino) so AHS contacted greenway. Long story short they want to charge out of pocket around $800 to replace my water heater. They both will be reported to The Better Business Bureau and I suggest everyone that has bad experiences with them do the same. A complete scam!!!

I'm in the same boat as the previous person who wrote the review. I have American Home Shield and they will assign Greenway unless specified otherwise. I've used them 3-4 times giving them opportunity after opportunity and I've had enough. Will never use them again. Their work and service is getting progresively worse. Everything they came out to fix would come to having the same issue several months down the road. last two times they were trying to sell me on a service that absolutely not needed. They just take advantage over ppl that do not know the technical aspects of their work to make them purchase supplementary service under false pretenses. The last service, I was forced by them to take an appointment so they can collect my deductable. Bottom point., time after time, this company would take advantage of their customers and provide extremely poor service. I would use anyone else but them.

I had a flood in my bathroom Thursday night!!! The first thing I did Friday morning was to call Greenway Home Services. I had several meetings on Friday but had to get this fixed as it was my daughters 13th birthday party with 10 13 year old girls!!! My hardwood floors meant too much to have that happen again much less with a housefull of screaming girls. When I called Greenway, they were very accomodating. They actually called me to let me know when they were going to the appointment before me and when they were heading my way. I was able to get my work done and be there when they got there. Then I got a couple of follow up calls afterwards to make sure the job was done to my complete satisfaction. I would reccomend Greenway to my friends, family or anyone that needs quality service at an affordable price. While talking to them, I learned a couple of things. #1 Greenway has same rate service 7 days a week (they do not knock your head off on the weekends). #2 They have technicians that are certified in either appliance repair, plumbing services or heating and air conditioning repair and replacement. This keeps them from having to know everything about 3 different services and they are really good at what they specialize in. Call them, Call them, Call them

The ratings should have a ZERO when dealing with this specific company. I have owned many homes in the last  24+ years and have had encounters with HVAC companies throughout that time but this has to be by far the worst company in history. Forget HVAC, these people business practice is horrific as they lie, cheat, and never return phone calls when it's 90 degrees out side and you have been waiting for a new AC for 3 months. The warranty company used them as vendor and in the last few years they started a attic fire, flooded my spare bedroom, and have a practice to sell you over priced R22 freon for $105 a pound when it cost the industry $22, and then they blame it on the government that they have a 75% mark up on the gas. Lies!!! The employees Kimberly, Maureen, and Keith are all liars and all businesses should care what the public thinks of them and as you can read on these threads the only comments that are positive are the ones they pay for. smh luckily I'm dealing with a new company and finally getting my new AC. Remember R22 freon is $22 wholesale and a decent company wouldn't take your head off by selling you something so expensive under false pretenses. I'm so glad that I was able to cut these clowns out of my life and the warranty company sent Stewart Enterprises HVAC in Nashville, TN who installed a brand new complete system and my upstairs is now 69 degrees in less than 3 days from first contact.

Avoid Greenway Home Services at all costs. Their scheduling is atrocious. I was scheduled for a timeframe, stayed home from work waiting for them, and they cancelled last minute. We rescheduled, and they were so late after the scheduled timeframe I had to go to work. We reschedule again, and the plumber was 1.5 hours late/after the scheduled time frame! Three times, and they couldn't get it right! Their advertisement touts their excellence, but their service is far from excellent. It's a waste of your time. Save yourself the headache and try another service.

Greenway home services was called to help with a leak. Since I had to work, a friend let the plumber in & I had spoke to him asking that the problem be taking care of today no matter what warranty covered & let him know the garage where water shut off was located. Reminding him to call me with any questions or updates. He was not in the home 2 mins ( I have a ring camera at the door) & seemed to be done. Called to confirm & no answer- it took several attempts on work breaks to get a person at Greenway. They weren't sure warranty coverage & it would still take 2 days to switch out the faucet that he thought might be leaking. Not the case. Had to bring in another service to fix the leak. Horrible customer service & obviously unskilled in profession.

Greenway Home Services claims to have great customer service and care about their customers. I have American Home Shield who hired Greenway Home Services to fix the Air Conditioning unit in my home. The technician came out the day after I requested service and identified the problem and ordered the parts he needed to fix the problem. I received a call a few days later to schedule installation of the parts so that the air condition will blow cold air. I was thinking this is great and we set up for the technician to come back out on Wednesday.
Wednesday arrives and after trying to keep my family cool in the house that is hotter than the 85 plus degree weather we were having, we all were kind of excited to get it fixed the day before going out of town. The technician arrives and goes straight to work of taking the unit apart. He gets the unit apart and then says I don't have all the parts. He calls the parts warehouse and they have the part at the warehouse that was not picked up by him to complete the job. The technician then turns to me and says don't get mad at me they didn't give me all the parts. My reply was that you should check to make sure you have what you need before leaving the warehouse. He then stated the part is in Nashville and he got other jobs he has to do, so I will have to wait and reschedule for sometime tomorrow. I explain that I am leaving the area and he calls someone else and then informs me that he is booked up for tomorrow and that I need to call in and reschedule.
I called in as told by the technician to speak with someone who had no clue what was going on. Once she was informed of the situation her concern became just as the technicians, he has other jobs he has to do today. I asked if he had a problem with putting a piece in if he would be here until he put it in correctly and she stated yes. I then asked what is the difference if he drove 20 minutes to get the part and fix the air condition since he did not pick up what was needed to complete the job. I explained that if this is what you consider as acceptable service for a technician to leave parts they know they need, they should just leave their tools at home. The female went on to tell me they can schedule me after I return from out of town since what they need to fix is inside of my residence. I asked if there is any way to fix this problem tonight? After being told she will have to call me back again after she speaks with a supervisor, I received a call and was told they can schedule me the next day. The female and the supervisor was both sarcastic and does not display the great customer service that they claim when placed on hold. They state that they want to receive nothing less than a 9 or a 10 on the survey for American Home Shield and if I feel they deserve less calm them and allow them to fix the problem. At this time I would not give them a 1 for their service. I honestly thought of dropping American Home Shield because of this horrible experience. Hopefully they will come with all of the parts in the morning before I leave. All they care about is the number of visits they can get in a day. I would not recommend them to anyone. I would give them 0 stars if yelp would let me.

I wanted to take the time out and give a huge thank you to the Technician that came out to our house yesterday. We have had some moisture coming out of our vents and so of course we were a bit concerned. Our Technician Mike was one of the sweetest people I have met in my life. He was so proffessional and polite. He checked everything out and was immediately able to take all our fears and concerns. He went above and beyond providing excellent service. Not only did he do that he also went out of his way to fix the issue. Not to mention the million questions my Husband and I had. Mike given us so much helpful Information on how to keep our unit good and running. I like to thank you Mike for your outstanding service. I am happy that we got to meet you. Mike is an extraordinary Employee and I am glad he is working with you all. Mike should be recognized for going way above and beyond. We didn't want him to leave our home.  I told him that I would call him. Hahaha.. it seemed as if he was friend of ours for years even though we had just met. He also thanked my husband for his service and how much he appreciated him for fighting for our Country. So if you see Mike or ever get to meet him give him a hug and tell him the Hill's said Hi I also like to thank Dawn who helped us set up the appointment with Mike. She also is very very sweet and proffessional. She even called us to let us know when Mike will be coming on top she called us back to make sure that everything was taken care of. I can not describe in words how amazing your staff is. She also needs to be recognized for such outstanding job and also going above and beyond. Mike and Dawn you guys ROCK

Ok, we were a member of American Home Shield and when we had HVAC problems they sent Greenway out and 12k later we got 2 Trane units installed. Nothing but trouble and shit with these guys ever since. They installed a drain improperly, already had to replace the main board twice, replaced an A coil already, it leaks coolant (more than once), units outside too close together and un level, too close to the wall. Exhaust wants duct taped. They could not get the original Trane touch thermostat to work and we had to replace it with an Emerson. At least 20 visits and this was installed in 2016 ffs!!!!! Now it's not cooling at all, we had an inspection and it is all backwards and you guessed it- another 12k to fix it. Greenway, Trane , and possibly a lawyer are being contacted. This WILL result in a lawsuit if need be. THIS BUSINESS SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS!!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!  I can not STRESS that enough.  If, I could give zero stars, I would.  THE WORST company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with in my 43 years.  September, I had a technician come out to refill leaked freon.  Upon leaving the technician said you're probably going to have issues with your heat.  Well, he was correct, which is surprising.  Instead of fixing the issue in September, when I had AC issues... October rolled around and my heat didn't work- AT ALL, I sent 4 emails requesting a follow up service call and numerous calls (probably 15) no responses to emails and no call backs.  I called, the Home Warranty Company (HWC) called and I waited until January for a follow-up.  I paid an additional $100.00 and the technician MISSED HIS FIRST scheduled appointment and finally came out another day, he was able to identified the issue as a failed compressor.  I'm sure the compressor's failure was due to low or no freon due to a leak they refused to find.  Well, a week passed and ONCE AGAIN NO CALLS I was beside myself on what to do.  I contacted GREENWAY who asked me what payment options I was considering.  This was a bit of a shocker bc the unit was only 4 years old and the part was covered under warranty the agent quickly hung up with me and I quickly called my HWC again and they noted the company didn't even file their diagnostic yet and was VERY CONFUSED why they were asking ME about payment options.  Obviously, they were looking to prey upon a customer who wasn't aware the compressor was covered under manufacture warranty.  Extremely SKETCHY.  Well, the HWC called another contractor who was able to come w/in 24 hrs and they fixed my unit THAT DAY!  I can NOT stress enough this company has strange people working for them and rude staff members.  This was BY FAR, the worst company I ever had experience needing their service.  I basically went this entire winter w/o heat and I have a 2 and 12 year old.  I had to resort to emergency heat and my bill was $750 for ONE MONTH.  STAY AWAY from GREENWAY!!!!

Just pray you never have to deal with these people.  The most horrible company I have ever had to deal with.  Had two water heaters go out.  The tech said we would need two new ones.  Greenway wanted to charge me $820 to modify lines.  The tech said there are not any modifications needed.  I also have an independent tech say there are not any modifications needed. When I talked to customer service rep at Greenway, after repeatedly telling her what her rep said,  she stated it was for installation which my
American Home Shield covers.  When I tell her this she goes back to it's to modify the lines.  She stated they would not install the water heaters without the $820 payment.  When I told American Home Shield I wanted a payout to have someone else put in the water heaters, they offered me $421 to put in 2 water heaters.  Greenway is a company that needs to be shut down!!!!

My heater went out, so I called my home warranty AHS. They had Greenway come out. I seen all the bad reviews and was quite nervous.
They were not able to come the day it broke. My appointment was for the next day between 8 and 12.
I got a call around 7:30 to let me know someone was on their way. He came to my house at 8:00.
He found the problem which was a bad blower motor. He showed me the bad part. He had a new motor on his truck and changed it out.
My heater is working fine. The guy that fixed my heater was named Reggie.

Yeah, this place seems pretty grand. I get that they're repairing my A/C through a home warranty, but you would think they would be able to at least fix something. 3 weeks in and my A/C is still not correct. Top it off with not existent communication and no shows from the technician and I think it's time to forget about the home warranty and call a company that can actually make some progress. It will be more out of my pocket, but at least I'll have air.

I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews. :( Maybe they got the wrong technician, but let me tell you about Corey! HE WAS AMAZING. He called to ask to come early which worked out better for me. He arrived with a good attitude and ready to get down to business. He was respectful to me, my pets, and home. He resolved the issue and walked me through it so that I could understand. HE DID NOT try to lie or sell me a new unit or anything I did not need. I use AHS and was concerned when I saw they were sending this company because of the reviews. However, Corey was absolutely amazing. I did not have a single bill at the end thanks to AHS and Corey being an honest technician. Happy customer!

This company is very dishonest and should be investigated and closed for good!  Through American Home Shield I was sent Greenway to fix my AC.  Cody H came out to look at my AC and later told me that American Home Shield would not cover the work to be done to fix my AC.  I was sent a text message from CODY H to give me three options to have my AC fixed.  Greenway sent Nathan and Jonathan to my home to fix my AC and charged me $4300 to install a new coil and condenser.  Come to find out Greenway never contacted American Home Shield to get the authorization to have the work done.  Spoke to Jennifer who is the customer relation manager at Greenway and she could not even find where anything was sent to AHS to get approval or disapproval.  Contacted AHS and they never received anything to ask for authorization. Jennifer sat on that phone and lied! They never contacted AHS to get approval but Cody H told me that AHS would not cover it. So how did he know that if he never even contacted them and they have no correspondence showing that they did contact them?  This is my first time having to deal with AHS so I was not sure of the process but come to find out they did not do what they were supposed to do and charged me $4300 to install a new coil and condenser.  AND NOW MY AC UNIT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!  After reading all the complaints about this company I feel there should be a major investigation.  AHS has launched an investigation into this company but I feel they should be investigated further.

Terrible communication after technician caused damage to my home (2nd floor unit was replaced and tech allowed water to dump from old unit).  Took two months to repair and I had to call Greenway every time to ask for update.  The contractor they sent to fix and paint my dining room ceiling was not polite.  When inspecting completed job, I pointed out a drip that needed a quick clean-up and he replied, I am a professional. I was like, OK, fix this and get out.  OMG, highly recommend working with your local folks. These larger companies just don't care. Jack of all trades!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.  They do not call when they say they will.  Do not use this company unless you want to be left stranded without AC for weeks on end.  NO follow through on promises of phone calls from upper management.  They wouldn't even pick up the phone for the warranty company that funnels all their work to them.  Save your time, money and sanity and use someone else!

The workers of this company even hate it- they are disorganized to such a huge degree. I have been stuck with them multiple times through my home warranty and I have told my warranty to never use them again for me. They have been written up multiple times, hopefully they will be taken off their vendor list. I have a leak in my house and after 3 months later they still haven't fixed it properly. The final visit I am going to have my home warranty coverage printed out in order for them to know they have to do what my warranty pays for- instead of blaming it on not knowing after they make their visit in the after business hours of their company.

I would suggest the most amateur plumber rather than using this company- you will not miss as much work and waste as much time.

I read several of these reviews after our homw warranty assigned our call to Greenway and I was very concerned. I even called the office and spoke to someone to express my concerns given that there were so many reviews with the same issues.

We chatted for a bit and I was willing to give them a chance after he answered my questions.

The communication was great, the technician was very nice and respectful and found our issue in less than 10min. We had a leak and needed more freon, but they didn't have the fitting to complete everything. That was the only issue we had because we had guests staying over who had to go the rest of the day and night without air. It was a bit warm for them, but the technician came out the next morning and finished everything in about 5 minutes.

We had a pleasant experience and are just very thankful that everything was able to be fixed quickly

Completely agree with everyone below. This company was assigned to repair a dishwasher for me through American Home Shield. The repair was requested on 11/16 and as of 12/4, it is still not completed. And what is the reason, you ask? Exactly what everyone else on here has stated: Parts are on order...However, when I contacted them 12/2, I was told the parts were there. Now, magically on 12/4, the parts are NOT there...and they state it will be NEXT Wednesday (12/11) before they can come back. After leaving messages for Ashley and never receiving a returned call, I finally got her on the phone today where she was extremely RUDE, condescending and ultimately HUNG UP on me when I confronted her on the fact that they cannot seem to make or keep an appointment. And this is AFTER they attempted to reschedule my initial repair not once, but TWICE...I have contacted American Home Shield and advised them to NEVER send Greenway to my house again. I have already paid my deductible for this repair, so now I am no longer a priority to Greenway. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced from a Repair company, but not to worry. It WILL be the last time....

AsYour not even worth  one star. The owner is pathetuc piece of crap. She will not return calls. They have been to my house 3 times and I had to call a different vendor who fixed it the first time.  Jonathon the service tech told me the unit needed freon in it. He charged me 50.00. I called and got a second opinion from.another company and he stated and documented it had been overcharged.  What a rip off you are.

The technicians set an appointment, if its raining they won't work. They call my landlord and tell her nobody was at the house so they leave without repairs. It has been 27 days without air conditioning in my house that I rent. Greenway has been out 4 times and still not fixed. Each time they tell the landlord something different. Bottom line is this, house has been 77-83 degrees for 27 days and we have 4 children under the age of 9. We are not considered a priority and we were told it was going to rain so we would be fine until the weather gets better!
The landlord used American Home Shield. I guess they are getting paid for the service calls and racking up the money. This company is horrible! I called the office to speak to a manager and she was just as rude as could be. Told me to be home all day and this wouldn't happen. Get real people, some of us work for a living.

This company is pathetic. Every one star review is really zero stars for this company. I believe every single zero star review on this company based on what I have experienced. Avoid this place at all costs!!! We have been without HEAT in our house in DECEMBER going on two weeks now. They told us too bad. They are completely incompetent. The first technician came out and did nothing and pretended ignorance about the problem after being TOLD by a licensed HVAC tech what the issue was (or maybe they really are that ignorant). They spend more time trying to get out of fixing a problem than doing their jobs. They also contract with American Home Shield insurance (another shame of a company, see their better business reviews).

If I could score zero stars I would. I have American Home Shield Home Warranty. Our main air conditioning unit broke. We were sent to Greenway. Greenway couldn't get a service tech to our home for 4 days. I called AHS  back to see if there was another service center we could use. AHS explained because the temperatures would be over 100 they could expedite the service call. I then called Greenway back and was asked very rudely why they AHS expedited the call. I explained because of the temperatures. I was then put on hold. In the mean time I missed a call from AHS. I sat on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up and checking my voice mail. Greenway had put me on hold called my home warranty company and told them I had 2 AC units. So my expedited service call was canceled. Greenway didn't even ask where the second unit went to. It is a smaller unit that only goes to a small bonus room above the garage. In noway can it even begin to push hair through the rest of the house. At the moment my downstairs is at 84 degrees and my upstairs is at 82 we haven't even hit the hottest part of the day and tomorrow is supposed to be hotter. When I called Greenway back they said there was nothing they could do. Customer service is awful!

We had them come to work our AC on two different times  in one week Through our home warranty company.  The first time they fixed it, it broke again, they were recalled back out fixed it and it broke again. Now being the third time they have left  us to suffer all weekend in 90+ degree temperatures. And all they can say is I'm sorry we will see you sometime next week. Their technicians apparently don't know what they're doing, and their customer service is lacking any kind of professionalism or empathy.  I asked to speak to a manager, and she said I will take a message for you and have yet to hear from one.  Would not recommend ever !

I have an American Home Shield warranty.  Greenway Home Services is one of their vendors and I have two cases that were assigned to them. These service guys proved to be bottom of the barrel and dealing with them was a nightmare.

My washing machine decided to stop working a couple of weeks ago.  No problem, I thought.  Perfect time to use the home warranty that I purchased with AHS.

The repairman came out a week ago today.  He claimed he reset the machine andit should be working properly.  I tried to wash a load of laundry and it was not working. I called Greenway that same day and the repairman that came to my house said he would have to order a part.  Sill waiting on the part and I am the one that is doing all of the follow up with Greenway to see when it will be coming in...this is Nashville, TN...I can't imagine that a washing machine part takes more than a week to obtain.

Next, my central air conditioning unit control panel decided to catch on fire....a week ago yesterday (yesterday was the 4th of July). On Thursday (July 3rd) I had an appointment scheduled for someone to be at my house between 8 AM and noon.  The repairman arrived somewhere around 1 PM.  He came inside, looked at the unit and said he would need to order the part.  After going without air conditioning for almost a week, I was in near tears.  I begged him to see if he could find the part in Nashville.  I even offered to go get it myself and bring it back.  He refused and stated that he had to go to the other side of town after leaving my house (?).  I called AHS and I called Greenway.  They assured me they would have the part in two days (Saturday) and that someone would arrive at 8 AM to make the repair.

Cut to Saturday.  The repairman showed up at 8:45 AM.  He proceeded to make several calls to OTHER REPAIRMEN asking them to walk him through the process of fixing my air conditioner.  Go ahead and read that sentence again...let it sink in.

He finally got it running and said that it shouldn't catch on fire again (words that will make you have a wonderful night of sweet slumber, right?).  He also left sooty fingerprints all over my utility closet door.  You know, soot from the FIRE.  I cleaned it up after he left.  At least he swept up the mess he made with everything else.

The air proceeded to run constantly from about 11:30 AM until around 5 PM, never shutting off.  I called and he said that it might take a while for the house to cool back down.  Okay, fair enough...BUT the temperature was set on 74 and the thermostat read 77 ALL DAY....UNTIL it started to creep upwards...78.

I called and got the after hours line.  Left a message and my call was returned shortly.  I was told that a different technician had been immediately dispatched to my house....now over an hour ago.  I called back...now they can't seem to locate the technician.  Still waiting...

I have contacted AHS and am going to try to cancel my contract with them all together.  I have also already paid for two separate services from Greenway that have yet to be performed.

Don't buy a home warranty unless you like to suffer.  I would give zero stars, if I could.

UPDATE -It's now two hours after I was told that someone had been immediately dispatched to my house.  Guess what?  No one ever showed up.  I talked with Emily with Greenway who said that she would now have their Emergency On Call Technician (Terrence) immediately come to my house because the other guy Reggie can't be located.  Emily then called me back to inform me that their emergency on call technician is out of town. I am NOW being told that someone (who hopefully knows what they are doing) will be at my house tomorrow (Sunday) morning between 8 and 9 AM.

***UPDATE***
Emily with Greenway had her husband come out on Saturday night around 8 PM to look at my air conditioning. It appeared to be working when he left and I appreciate that they went the extra mile to send someone over. Update: Sunday, July 6: The AC isn't working. On Monday, July 7, I called Greenway to see if they could send someone out for the 4TH TIME. They agreed to send someone between 3pm and 7pm that day. He showed up at 9:30 pm and had to rewire the unit. The person that came on Saturday (the one who had to get instructions from the other mechanics) rewired it so that the heat and air came on at the same time. He finished up at around 11:30 PM...after using my bathroom TWICE to, um, defecate. Yes. I can't make this stuff up. Not to mention he was in his sock feet and downstairs was beginning not to smell so fresh.

I have zero confidence in this company and AHS was zero help to me. My washing machine part that was ordered has been sent to who knows where and I paid for a service that has yet to be done.
*Greenway never repaired my washing machine. He lied to AHS and said he did, though.  I had to have AHS send Sears out to repair it. I also had another company follow up behind their AC repair fiasco.

Greenway was dispatched to our house (through our home warranty company) on January 2, to assess our sudden loss of heat. A tech responded on January 4th. The tech was unable to repair. They sent out another person on January 6th. This was the last time anyone from Greenway visited our home.

Without fail, they do not return calls (both to myself and the home warranty company). A tech completely missed a repair appointment (and didn't bother to call). The President was involved on January 25 and told me that Greenway would do what it took to look into our repair. Subsequent emails to the President went unanswered. They didn't order all the correct parts, nor supply the home warranty company with all the information to order the correct parts.

Finally, on February 2nd, our home warranty company provided us a different contractor. There is a total lack of communication between the receptionists and field workers. That or they just do not place priority in returning calls. I was fed incorrect information on numerous occasions, despite calling them at least 7 times over the course of a month. In the end, my wife wasted a day of vacation to take off for techs that didn't have all the parts they needed. I wasted countless phone conversations with both Greenway and my home repair company to get our situation resolved...in the middle of winter...with a two-year-old child. We also have relied on space heaters and a gas fireplace to heat most of our home, resulting in outrageous electric and gas bills.

When you do talk to their employees, they are nice as can be.  However, nice doesn't equal good service in our experience.

This company continues to disappoint. They partner with my home warranty company which is why I am forced to continue working with them. But it seems every time that I am forced to use them they continue to be disappointment. Who knows maybe they have me flagged to give me the run around for fun! Either way this company is very frustrating to work with.

Greenway Home Services saved us $14,850.00! We have an older heat and air unit that works fine but it was dripping water. A competitor said there was no possible way to unclog the line without replacing the unit. They quoted us $15,000 for a new unit to be installed with free checks every year for 15 years. Then we called Greenway Home Services who came over, cut the pvc, drained and cleaned the line, And patched a new piece of pvc with an access hole for easier future cleanings. $150. Thank you Greenway. Whats the name of the company who thought they had us over a barrell and pretended they had no way to clean out a pvc pipe? Oh that was Donelson Heat and Air.

Like many others, Greenway home services was dispatched through AHS.  The initial call was placed July 28th.  Greenway sent someone out to check and said my compressor was bad and it was take 7-10 days to get the part.. in August (23 days above 90 degrees).   23 days later, after my calling every day to check on status since there was no proactivity, my part arrived.  I was then scheduled for an appointment to repair 10 DAYS after the part arrived. If you do the math we are now over 30 days without repair.

The Tech came out and replaced the compressor and turned the system on.  He waited a few minutes and then came inside and said he was done.  As he was leaving, I requested that he grabbed the meter that measures the air temperature out of the vent.  He obliged but was not going to check that the unit was actually cooling until I said something.  Upon investigation (with the unit running for more than 30 minutes now) the unit was blowing air at 76 degrees. Now, I am no AC guy, but if it is 72 outside and the air out of the vent is 76, there seems to be an issue with cooling. Just a hunch.

I placed a call again to AHS about the repair not being complete and Greenway was dispatched.... again.  Upon arrival it was determined that there was a note from the previous guy that he wasn't able to put all the Freon in that was needed. Well, that is interesting because I surely paid the full amount for all the Freon required. Thank you AHS for your $10 per gallon credit (joke). My unit was completely empty though and the tech then said I had a leak. Again, no AC repair guy here, but when they originally diagnosed why the unit wasn't cooling, wouldn't they check Freon levels first? If it has a leak now, than it surely had a leak a month ago because I haven't ran the system in a month because, well, IT DOESN'T WORK.

Now the repair options person was scheduled to call me at 0900 this morning.  At 12 I decided to call them since, yet again, there was no communication. Of course, the guy on the phone said it was a scheduled issue in the office and the office said they don't know why they didn't call.. back and forth, whatever.

Like others have mentioned if AHS is going to use companies such and Greenway, I will not be renewing with them either.

All that to say AC is still not fixed but winter is coming, so I can at least open a window now.

Greenway came out to fix a fan that would not shut off on the heat unit - and left us with no heat. No heat for a 9 month pregnant woman and a toddler.  No offer of anything to make it through the night, just my supervisor will have to look at it and left.  LEFT!  Then, tried to schedule something for the NEXT DAY - we had heat in the morning fine, after they came for a repair we had NO heat.  Now we have to wait for a part...  what century are we in?  There are several parts houses in Nashville.  DO NOT USE - unprofessional.

If i could have given Greenway Home Services 0 stars i would have! And I would NOT recommend their services to anyone!!! My 210 home warranty company contracted them out and I've regretted it ever since.

My AC until went out over a month ago.  It took them an entire week to come out to my house to do the initial inspection. At first, the representative seemed confused as to what happened to the unit so he made a few calls to talk it over with his associated. He then tells me that all the wires are burnt so the air handler system needed to be replaced. He also said that there was a leak in the evaporator coil (so it was leaking all the freon) and that would need to be replaced. Seemed like a reasonable answer to the issues we were having. Then it came time to the, actually fixing the unit.

For starters it took them over 4 weeks for them to fix the unit after my unit after my initial call had been made. I called almost everyday checking on the status of the part and to try to schedule an appointment (mind you it was during the time that we were having 85 degrees +). After calling for a few days with no progress I realized they kept referring to the part as not being in which raised concern because I knew at least 2 parts (and 1 being the unit) needed to be replaced. So I asked what was on order and they replied the evaporator coil.  At this point it had been over 2 weeks that we had been waiting on it to be fixed. The representative then told me that they misread their employees work order and forgot to order the air handler.  I asked for a timeframe on how long it would take to get in and they told me 2 days. A week later they finally had all of the parts and scheduled the appointment.

When the representatives came to my house to replace and install the new until I was left speechless by their unprofressionalism.  All they did was argue and fight with each other, and complain about ow much they hated the company and would rather be doing anything else. A this point I doubted that they would even do the installation correctly (which thankfully so far it seems they did). S after installing replacing the new until they said they would have to come bak because they had the wrong heating system and it wouldn't work with that AC.

So I schedule an appointment for them to fix the heating system.  I had to take a day off work to be home for them to do the installation and they said the appointment would be between 12-5pm. At 5:03 I get a phone call from the company saying that the wrong representative took the part and that they would have to reschedule and could not come out that day. Really? It's 5:03 and AFTER the service window and your just calling to tell me this now?! So without being said I was extremely frustrated and aggravated. So I told the representative on the phone that I would not take another 5 hours out of my day to wait around on them to show up (or not show up). So the representative said they would come between 8-10 on my next appointment and it would be taken care of first thing. So at 930 I called (since they are supposed to give you a call 30 minutes before) and surprise surprise they were not going to make it by 10. And to make it worse they denied ever telling me that was the window. Well it is now 12 and the service representative has still not arrived.

Unprofessional. Incompetent. Disrespectful. Rude. Misleading. Horrific service. Just a few words to describe Greenway Home Services.

I wish I were allowed to give '0' stars. I will spare you the details of the carnival sideshow that was the Greenway experience, but I will tell you that the final 'act' included my wife asking the tech to leave and calling me in tears. The facts: 4 visits, each one missed their window by several hours or did not show at all. Their techs are ill-equipped and often times rude and even confrontational. One guy never hooked gauges to the equipment and just said his phone told him our unit was overcharged so he drained it. Our house was 85 degrees that night.

The management must not care; that lack of care is evident in everyone from the person who answers the phone to the scheduler to the techs. Don't ever use....run.....run very far away from this company.

DO NOT USE!  Literally the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. Only does small par work fixed through our home warranty. Our unit has not been working for 10 months. There latest fix, duct tape!  Shockingly, the unit still is not working. They have tried to claim the unit is in perfect working order, yet they have had to come out multiple times and add refrigerant.

He didn't fix anything and put on the insurance paperwork that he left at 5 pm but he actually left at 4:21pm not good service!!! Stay away from this place. I would never recommend using this company for hvac repairs or any other services.  I had a tech come out after scheduling service, the tech showed up several hours late but was efficient and professional.  He determined we needed to replace a part and that he would have to order it which would take 3-5 business days.  After 5 business days and no call I decided to call myself.  I spoke to an employee on the phone who could not give me details of my part order and said she would email both the manager and parts supervisor to determine the status.  I have called now three seperate times on different days and have yet to recieve a call back or even an estimated time for part arrival.  It has now been 19 days since contacting them to schedule the repair and 9 days since part was to be ordered and I still have a non functioning AC with no eta for repair.  All I wanted was a straightforward answer and the respect of a call back, guess that's too much for them.

Like many other reviewers here, I have coverage with American Home Shield and they assigned Greenway Home Services to come fix my dishwasher.  I was so disturbed by the reviews posted here that I called AHS and asked them to send someone else.  They told me politely (and rightly) that, if I had not personally had a bad experience with them, then I should at least let them come out and try to do the job (fix a KitchenAid dishwasher).  I reluctantly agreed and braced myself for a bad experience.  However, a very friendly guy named Chris showed up on time and proceeded to diagnose the problem.  He told me it would take about a week to get the part and he would schedule another visit.   They got the part on time, scheduled a visit, arrived on time, and fixed it without any problem at all.

I was so pleased and surprised that I called the office to tell them what a good job Chris had done and to tell them about my inital reaction to the bad reviews.  The lady in the office (very friendly) said that Chris was indeed very good and that they had gotten rid of the staff members who had dragged their reputation down by not doing a good job.  I don't have experience with the rest of their staff, but I would be happy to have Chris from Greenway come out to fix whatever appliances have problems at our house.  It looks to me that they may have cleaned up their act!

Greenway is a crock of shit!! Put in a new AC Unit WRONG as hell, that created MOLD throughout all the duct work, out the vents, onto allllllll my furniture, hardwood floor, carpet, walls, beds and bedding, clothing, ruined under kitchen sink and master bathroom sink, ECT. Devon Williams is the manager of the Nashville TN office has been lying to me and stalling for 3 days about how he's going to make this right and clean ALL duct work, mold throughout the house and anything ruined!! Said he started a claim and come to find out he NEVER DID! It took me and my cousin all the way in Washington state HOURS to finally find the insurance info and start a claim myself!! Because DEVON refused to give her the insurance information without a court order, we called the Memphis branch and guess what???? They emailed it right over!!! Don't worry DEVON, your insurance company will be seeing all these saved text messages from you stating these lies and showing you stalling!!

Used them three times because they are the service used by American Home Shield.  The first time it took then more than three weeks to get a spring in for my dishwasher .. a part I located in metro Nashville using Google.  The second time the repair only took a couple of days in comparison.  This last attempt started 23 January -- it is now 4 Feb and they have yet to show.  They claim they left a message on my phone - that is a lie.  When I contacted them they stated they offered me a date for repair -- they did not.  They are liars -- I would not trust them with any work.

This is probably a company that one may want stay away from. One of the techs there was good but the company in terms of getting things done via AHS is not. There are no mechanisms to their internal processing of outstanding jobs. Not truthful to me, informing me that they have called in to AHS but AHS told me. Played cat and mouse in tracing calls. Pretending not to know of issues and shifting blame to others or unable to get in touch with AHS. Told me hey will get in touch with me but did not after many repeated attempts to call them. Initially I thought it was just me but after seeing 100s of google reviews and many other review sites of this company I now understand how they operate. Make America great again with this company? I think it is this kind of quality of work that makes us go down. I hate to write negative reviews.. rarely done to any company or anyone but the issues they have seriously needs to be addressed. It seems like they (customer service) are really not happy doing what they do. if so why not allow others to pursue to give better services?

I have a home in Nashville, TN and I'll add my voice to the chorus here of unhappy American Home Shield (AHS) customers who have had HORRIFIC EXPERIENCES DEALING WITH GREENWAY.

I've had an ongoing problem with my HEAT PUMP unit. I now have Greenway on my DO NOT USE VENDOR LIST WITH AHS, but because they did the original install of a new compressor and the part is under warranty, I keep having to have them come out to do repairs.

- Always a nightmare getting them to show up when they're scheduled
- Getting them to tell me what honestly needs repaired each time
- And other service calls from a few other local companies have confirmed that Greenway has done a bunch of substandard work on the unit.

Absolute nightmare! They always try to up-sell me on buying a new unit too, and give me A VERY DIFFERENT STORY THAN THE ONE I GET FROM A PHONE CALL TO AHS. I HATE having to deal with them and the fact that AHS uses them as a vendor has made me consider switching home warranty companies when my next contract is up.

I'd suggest learning from my experience and AVOID GREENWAY IF YOU CAN AT ALL!

AHS HAS ANOTHER VENDOR I've had a few very good experiences with: CURTIS REPAIR SERVICE. (yelp.com/biz/curtis-repa…) I have a lot of trust in the information given by Curtis and his quality of work. I wish to God he had been the one who installed my compressor and I could avoid Greenway in the future.

Worst company ever. I completely agree with what the other people are saying.  They should not be in business.  Can't communicate. I had to call and beg for information and was lied to and told something different every time I called.  It took 6 days to get a water heater and they didn't show up on time which caused me a days work because of their inability to be on time. No sense of urgency, don't care about their customers and the customer service people just give the run-a-round with standard answers.  The technician even told me he has a hard time dealing with his own company and scheduling.  Ridiculous!

DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS! Had an AC Uunit go out, Greenway was sent out by American Home Shield whom we have warranty through. Greenway talked us into replacing 14 yr old unit, which makes sense. We agreed to that and redoing some duct work in attic. Long story short, 3 visits, duct work still not done, one of their techs put his foot through our master bedroom ceiling and it's been over a week and no one has come to fix it. Been calling Devon Williams, their GM, daily and get the same bs about waiting on parts and can't get a hold of drywall guy. I leave voicemails and no he doesn't call back. Talked to Customer Service Manager twice, she said she'd get back to me, but no call backs. Its been over a week and duct work still not finished and hole still in ceiling. I'm just wanting them to fix what they promised and agreed to...why is that so difficult. They don't care about customer service. WILL NEVER USE GREENWAY OR AHS AGAIN.

I waited all day for a guy with a severe attitude problem to tell me he was not going to do what the home warranty company said he was supposed to do. He refused to do a leak test, and he refused to call the home warranty company to get authorization to do any further work.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!

Please avoid using them, bad dispatch and horrible services. The most part that pissed me off is they Charged me four times the price for the parts that I could buy myself as the sales person Maureen said it has to be an OEM. I asked her if there is something that I could buy from Lowe's and/or Home Depot, it'd save me a lot of money.
The tech showed in the morning and told me that he would have to run Lowe's to get the parts, I was like WHAT!!!!! This is how bad they are.

I wanted to give an update that Greenway Home Services ended up doing right by us after a visit from Mr. Devin Williams. He was exceptional to work with and completely handled the situation. His response and professionalism would honestly be the reason why we would give them a try again should we need to do.  Greenway is a family business which I can respect and do believe Devin is doing a good job and improving the service.

I've had two different visits from this company has part of my home warranty-one for central air and one for plumbing. Jimmy came for a second plumbing call and is still my favorite plumber. Both employees were outstanding, informative and efficient. I'm not sure why there are so many poor reviews but I'm definitely a happy customer and will call them when I need repairs. Thanks!

Horrible! Don't ever use if you have the option not to. First, the people that answer the phone and schedule your appointment are just plain rude and passive aggressive. Second, they come over during a 5 hour window sometimes calling ahead and other times unannounced claiming that they called. Third, they try to rip you off! Nickle and dime you for every little thing to the point that it is offensive. Finally, they don't complete the job in a reasonable amount of time. Orders take way longer to finish than they should and parts that are readily available locally or should be on their truck are not with them (did I mention so they can charge you for the extra trip?). Enough said- DO NOT HIRE THEM!

Do not use this service.
We used our home warranty and were assigned to Greenway. We did not receive a call for 5 days even after we called and left a message requesting a callback. When they finally called, they set an initial appointment (5-hour window) for 5 days later. The tech arrived and spent all of 5 minutes looking at the unit stating a new part needed to be ordered, and they would return in 4 days. We never received a call about the follow up appointment. We called them and were again given a 5 hour appointment window. They called to say they would be on the way. The call was answered but got dropped. We called back, and they did not answer. The tech did not come. We've been rescheduled for another appointment (5 hour window). We have been without AC for over 2 weeks.

We had a issue with our AC Unit (Not Cooling). The Service person came over, and diagnosed that the Cond Fan motor needs to be replaced. One week later came back and replaced the motor and AC started Working.

However after a week, I noticed the unit (which is outside the house) is making a lot of noise, and wobbling a lot & noticed there was Radiator damage. I complained, and a new technician came over. He said, this is the best we can do, and if the AC is working you are fine. The faulty workmanship is something you should ignore and move on :(

In June my home warranty providers sent Greenway Home Services out to fix my non-working air conditioner.  The man who initially looked at it said that there was a leak.  I did not have the money at the time to repair the air conditioner, so he charged it with Freon, which of course quit working within a couple of months.  At that visit, I asked to do split tender and put the approximately $400 on two different cards.  Over 2 weeks later and my cards had not been charged.  I called to ask about it and was informed that they would put it through that day, however they charged it all to one card.  Luckily by that point I had enough room on my card for the full service and did not have an overdraft.  In August, I called GHS again to come out.  They did not do a leak test and instead told me that I needed a new unit and coil.  The coil was still under warranty, but I had to buy the new unit for $2800.  Contrary to what they claim, the technicians never gave me a 30 minute advance call, so I had to take off work early multiple times dealing with this issue as I was never sure when they would show up.  When they came to replace the unit (several hours late), they did not have all the correct parts and I was told that they had to drive to multiple locations to find it.  After having had to take multiple half days at work, the air worked great . . . for less than a month.  Before I had even made the first payment on the air conditioner my house was in the 90s.  I called to let them know what was going on and was informed that a technician would be out the next day between 10:00 and 2:00.  Around 8:30 the next morning I received a call that the technician had called out and I would not be able to be seen until at least 2 days later.  At this point I have spent over $3000, used approximately a day and a half of my limited pto at work, and I still do not have a working air conditioner. I've left multiple messages for the manager to attempt to resolve this issue and have not received a call back.

We had a pleasant experience and are just very thankful that everything was able to be fixed quickly.

My home warranty company sends out Greenway to fix my AC as of today it's been a week and  I am still waiting for their technician to send an email to the correct people so that they can authorize the work. I've called everyday for the past 4 days and nobody can give me an update. This is the 4th time within an year that they have been to my residence and each time it's been a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They are unorganized and RUDE!!! I will be changing home warranty companies just so that I won't have to deal with them again!!!!

The only thing positive about this company is the warm and fuzzy pre recorded message they have on their answering machine. They've been in business for many years, but it doesn't seem they got better with age. It took forever to get parts for my appliance....like 5 months. Communication is poor, both with the office and the service rep. You would think if parts could not be reasonably received in a couple months that they would offer alternatives, but I'm the paying customer that had to follow up month after month after month following up on parts, and I was always given the same excuse that parts would be received next week. After hearing that for several months their credibility was out the door. Don't like being negative but i hope the company takes this as constructive criticism and make improvements.

Please AVOID this company like the plague! First off, they will send a few different people out, and EVERYONE of them will tell u to get a new unit. Almost crazy pushy wise. After the fist set of people came out, another guy needed to come out as well and he stood us up 3 different times. We gave up last year and then had them come out again. I had to tell them what was wrong, they then upped the price like $600 from last time and said they needed all this extra work done. When I informed them I had done before pictures and was going to take after pictures the guy tried to talk crazy to me. We then had another company come out and they laughed and fixed ar unit for $1,000 less. Don't EVER use this company. Its a joke.

My experience to date with Greenway is that they blow.  Like most here, I contacted AHS and they sent an email stating that Greenway would be the provider and they would contact me within 24 Business hours. DID NOT HAPPEN.  I had to call AHS again and they followed up with Greenway and they finally called, but acted like it was a new request, not one submitted 4 DAYS earlier.

Told the scheduling person I was traveling on the day they planned to come out to check my AC so the technician would need to call my wife to confirm the appt and I gave her the phone #.

Did he do that? NO, of course not.  He called me in AZ.  He finally called my wife after I gave him the number.  When he came out, he checked the system, found the problem and told my wife what it was, but left without any indication of when he would return to repair it.  That was Wednesday and today is Saturday. Haven't heard squat from Greenway.  Called AHS and surprise, they are waiting on information from Greenway.

I told AHS they are NEVER to send Greenway to my home again.  They must have so much business that they are just too busy to call customers and provide status updates.  I want to help them by reducing their workload so they have more time for other customers.

Greenway you are fired and I plan to raise as much noise as possible with AHS in hopes that they will cease to use you as a service provider because you don't know the definition of the word service. Tomorrow will be 10 days since I submitted my service request to AHS and they informed that Greenway would be the provider.  My AC is working the same today as it was 10 days ago. Greenway blows, the negative reviews on Yelp were earned by them.

AVOID GREENWAY HOME SERVICES!!!!  They cost me approximately $1000 in damages for what should have been a minor repair! Greenway incorrectly made repairs on a toilet which subsequently caused it to overfill pouring water into the AC ducts and damaging the floor.  The floor and AC ducts had to be replaced.  Another reputable plumber pointed out obvious problems with the initial Greenway work and made repairs--no problems since.  I called Greenway before the second plumber did repairs asking them to cover the damages.  They refused to take responsibility.  While standing in several inches of water in my bathroom,  they tried to get me to sign a paper saying there were no mechanical problems with their work.  Doug with Greenway refused to make it right and after I told him I did not want the same plumber to return to look at the damages he sent the same man out.  Also don't count on any support from American Home Shield.

If I could give them a zero I would. I use Greenway under contract with American Home Shield. Every summer for the past 6 years I have had to call them at least 3 times to have someone check on the A/C because the upstairs doesn't cool down. The hotter the temp gets outside, the hotter it got upstairs. It was as if I had the heater on. They would come in and add Freon; didn't help for more than a couple of days. Then I had 3 different technicians come within two weeks and finally the last one determined that the unit needed to be cleaned. That worked for a while. Finally this year,  completely fed up, I called again and the technician after examining the unit said there was nothing mechanically wrong with the unit so oh well. Not willing to accept this, I called again and insisted that someone else come out and really examine the unit. They sent the same technician who said the same thing.  Finally this year I went into one of the guest rooms to find two major water stains on the ceiling, one of which had started to buckle and crack. The technician I called in -- no one from Greenway -- discovered that the pan that sits under the unit had no overflow valve which would shut down the system in case of an accumulation of water; that the hoses that carry water out of the house to drain were both completely clogged up and that water had seeped into a piece of insulation for so long, that it had finally become saturated and was also leaking on to the attic floor. So for six to seven years, Greenway had been sending out grossly incompetent technicians.  I also blame American Home Shield because despite numerous complaints about Greenway, they also sent a plumber that didn't know what he was doing, they would not send anyone from another company.  I've dropped AHA too.

Greenway selected by American Home Shield for service to replace A/C coil. They ordered the coil, but the part was misplaced by merchant which they didn't track for 5 days until I call them and they re placed the part without priority shipping. They don't ever care to followup with a phone call with merchant or me and when I call them today they said part is checked in but they need 5 more hours to schedule an appointment. I am with out A/C for 10 days and they are not willing to come in today to fix it. I was with out A/C for 10 days and with 5 phone calls with their customer service team (each time 15-20 min hold) in this hot weather. I suggest not use this company.

Run far and fast! These people offer the worse service I have ever seen. They will make up stories to cover for their terrible servicing agenda. Waiting on parts you don't need and so on. The only reason they could possibly be in business is that they have contracts with warranty companies. I hope they go out of business when the contracts are up. Things happen in the service industry that are sometimes unavoidable, but these people should not be in this type of industry or any other.

Greenway was assigned for service for our sump pump. Their technician Jonathan came and checked it and said it wasn't the sump pump. He said it was the air unit. Said he heard that type of noise all the time. So we involved our AC technician who checked everything. No problems with AC. BUT pictures of the sump pump showed it was running off and on making the noise when there was no extra water. We called our home warranty company and they sent Greenway' who sent Jonathan again. He told us when he arrived that it wasn't the sump pump. He checked it again and said it was supposed to be making that noise. It was doing what it was supposed to do. Nothing about AC. HE became VERY argumentative when we asked about that. I invited him to leave our property. We'll NEVER do any kind of business with Greenway ever in the future.

URGENT: PLEASE READ
Through AHS (again)..
put our house up for sale a couple weeks ago.. upstairs furnace was listed on home inspection as not operational.
Called AHS and Greenway came out (against my better judgement because the last time they came out a guy stepped through my ceiling drywall and then attempted to hook me up with his buddy to repair it bc he didn't want to get in trouble).. and as usual at 5:50 pm on a 12-5 time window.

Anyway, the tech came out and messed around for about an hour and said he'd have to come back after he got a new part.. he said he had tried to install an ignitor but the one he had on him was a dud.  He leaves.
Just a bit later the house fills with the sweet smell of natural gas.
I call the Nashville office and their emergency inbox is full and is not accepting any messages.  Classy.

Call Memphis and a guy named Jonathan (service manager for the Nashville area - (931-797-8905), calls me back with straight up attitude.

Not their problem;  an ignitor can never ever ever cause a gas leak; 30 years experience; he sees absolutely no correlation or coincidence in his man working on my unit and then the house filling up with gas two hours later; he sees this all the time, literally all the time, it's some kind of leak that happened after his guy left...  really??
also he had me on speaker bc I had a roomful of laugh track.. guess I was pretty entertaining..

unbelievable...  I mean, simply unfathomable..

I'm at 1216 Woodvale Drive in mount Juliet..
I don't expect anyone to care bc nobody did last time..  just hope I can help someone that might be considering AHS or Greenway.

This is a problem that defies logic.  Check out all the other reviews for goodness sake..

So I packed up my family and got a hotel.

Called Piedmont Natural Gas..
they said to go outside immediately.

Seriously.  Please please please, stay away from Greenway.. and despite fifty million negative reviews, they still do whatever the hell they want.
Let's drain the swamp.

Update- 9:45 pm 7/28/17...
Piedmont Natural Gas is on the way, and asked us to vacate the premises.

Update- 12:19 am 7/29/17..
Piedmont Natural Gas arrived and immediately turned the water heater pilot off.  Used his meter through the house and up into the attic where he detected unacceptable levels of gas.

The tech from Greenway had turned off the gas valve to the furnace and then manually unscrewed the inline union to bleed off the gas while he replaced what he called an ignitor.. put the new one on, TURNED THE GAS BACK ON WITHOUT TIGHTENING THE UNION BACK UP, decided the ignitor wasn't the problem, and left.

The Tech from Piedmont immediately found the issue.. the union was completely loose, and gas was spewing from it, not rocket science..  He valved off the gas, tightened the union properly, turned the gas back on, checked the perimeter of the house, watched the meter for 20 minutes to make sure the leak was fixed, checked the house again, relit the water heater, wrote up a report (Red Tag, indicating a dangerous situation), and explained everything.

I will happily email you pictures of the workspace, the loosened union, the controller, and more importantly, the detailed Red Tag report from the Tech from Piedmont Natural Gas, detailing how the Greenway tech essentially put me and my children in a life threatening situation.

Please email me for any and all supporting documents at [email protected] and I will happily provide them to you so can spread the word that this business is a lethal danger to you and your children.

Thank you for your time and please, please heed this warning,

God Bless,
Matt Alexander

20 years I've been in my house and anytime something goes out of course I call my Home warranty company and Greenway is always the one to come out which haven't used in 3 years and I wasn't really disappointed the last few times they came out to repair going on, but I tell you ROBERT P. came out today for my Air unit wasn't working and after 2 other guys came out this pass weekend told me it was over for it, Robert came thru and before you know it had,it working in no time I was skeptical at first then after an hour I trusted his word and listened to the young military guy and I was amazed of his brilliant knowledge as  he broke it down to me what was what and I couldnt be more satisfied  and relieved so if you call Greenway tell them you want Robert P. this young man know what he is doing he's a little genious.

Had an HVAC tech come out to service our unit through American Home Shield. Our unit was leaking freon so the technician stated that the coils needed to be replaced and that our tank would need to be filled up. He wrote on our invoice that we had a 7lb unit and that's how much freon he'd be using. We weren't expecting a nearly $1000 bill on our 20 year old AC unit when we called AHS regarding our AC unit so we decided to hold off that day and call a friend out who is an HVAC tech with Hiller. (We would have just used Hiller in the 1st place but AHS wouldn't let us choose our own contractor).  Our friend took a look at our unit and said the tech was correct that the unit coils definitely had a leak and needed to be replaced, but, our unit was only a 4.75 lb unit and our lines being what they were they'd need a total of no more than 5.15lbs of freon to fill the entire thing (unit and lines), and that's if our freon was completely empty which it wasn't. At over $100 per lb of freon, overcharging us by at least 2lbs ($200+) is insane and so wrong. I called Greenway services and the rep tried to tell me the 7lbs was only an estimate, for a 4.75lb unit they could sometimes need 11lbs.... I am not kidding, she actually tried to say that. My best advice for anyone going with this company is to take a look at anything they are doing, do a price search, if it's your HVAC unit look at the information on your system to make sure they aren't trying to steal from you like they did with me.

I was a lil worried after reading all the bad reviews about this company. But my home warranty company (American home shield) uses this company as a vendor so I felt like I didn't really have a choice in the matter. So I decided to give them a shot before calling someone else to come look at my furnace. Tech arrived in the early part of service window and gave me a call when he was about 15 minutes away. Upon arrival, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about my unit. After about an hour of being here, he had my heat fixed! It was an issue with some switch in the unit and a wiring issue with the thermostat. Based on the experience I had, I would recommend this company.

I, like so many others, used this company through America Home Shield warranty company.
My issue has yet to be resolved. It appears at this point I can pay them 1700.00 to complete the repair,  or between 5 and 6 grand to have my unit replaced.
I am working with the warranty company on options but at this point I am wondering why I am paying for a home warranty if when you need it, its not there?
Either the unit can be repaired for a reasonable cost or not.
I feel like I am going through some upcharge from a company that is not about service but what they can make from this.
America Home Shield needs to expand and have other people they use for repairs.
At this point I am highly disappointed in both the repair company and the warranty company

We also had a small leak, so Greenway was dispatched from American Home Shield.  The plumber filled a tub and drained it so see where it was stopped up. The small leak in one spot because a massive leak in three spots pouring out our light fixtures. You think he would go close the drain on the tub, but didn't. I asked him if he knew there was much more water pouring out, and now was leaking in three spots several feet apart and he said yes.  The question is, why didn't he tell me so I could put buckets or something to catch the water pouring all over the kitchen. The ceiling starting spewing water, and caved in later in the day.  Even some food inside our cabinets got wet.

End results -- Replacement of ceiling and repainting, the hardwood floors had to be re-sanded and stained which meant moving out of our home for 1.5 weeks. In addition, he never sealed around the toilet so water could go back through later.

Positives-- The people are polite.

I can fully see why they have a 1 star review and they would get zero star if that was a possibility. Tyler and Justin has come to my house and Tyler was nice about Justin as rude as they come on the phone. They didn't fix anything and refused to come back when I called Justin with in 5 minutes of him leaving the house. This is the WORST company on the planet!! We began dealing with them in early June in an attempt to get our HVAC unit repaired. It's now August 4, and we are STILL WITHOUT AIR!! Calls have been ignored. Repair people have been rude, sexist, ignorant, have lied, and have appeared without necessary equipment. They have, of course, told us that we could purchase a NEW unit and for thousands of dollars and they'd get it in immediately. SCAM ARTISTS!!! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!! They are HORRIBLE! We have been waiting for three weeks for a specialty part. If there's a way to leave you dying in the summer, they'll do it. They never send the same person, and the people never read the notes (if there are any) to see what has been done. If you are female and try to speak to one of the male managers, you are shouted at, and told that you must have misunderstood what was done. Avoid this place.

This company is by far the worst that I have ever dealt with. When our A/C went out a few weeks ago, we had to use them, because of our home warranty, American Home Shield. They sent someone out, and we learned that our compressor was shot. Ellen, the only person who could help us with our compressor order, failed to return any of the 6 messages that my husband and I left for her over the course of three days. When I was finally able to talk with someone else, I was told that the compressor was in, and we were given an install appointment for the next day from 8-12, for which my husband rearranged his whole day. The next morning, I found a message at work from this same person, informing me that our compressor was in and that we needed to call and schedule an install for early the next week. When I called back, she had no recollection of leaving the message two hours earlier. When I informed her that she had scheduled our install the previous day, she checked and said that someone must have taken us off the schedule. This was over a week after they originally received the call from AHS. I blew up and was put on hold. Then, miraculously, the elusive Ellen gets on the line and reschedules us for later that day.

Sadly, the story does not end there. Less than a week later, our A/C was blowing warm air again. We called another company to come out, because we do not trust Greenway and will never use them again. There were two other issues that their service guy either missed or ignored, hoping to get more business out of us. So, we just paid for a new capacitor ourselves last night, because the one in there was not the right size for the new compressor that Greenway installed. There was also a wiring short that was causing the breaker to flip. We were told that this short would have eventually fried our new compressor, which I'm guessing the other guy knew. Sneaky, sneaky people, and their office staff is FULL of morons. If you have American Home Shield, and they force you to use Greenway, do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere, even if you have to pay for it yourselves. This company is not a member of the BBB. They are incompetent and shady, to say the least. We will NEVER use them for anything again.

This company is horrible! They spent a year, no exaggerating, coming out to my home and messing up my HVAC system.  They came out 7 times in the winters and each time, the young kid had no idea how to fix what they guy before him did. Twice they said they had to order parts, but they ordered the wrong one; so we had to wait twice as long. The first time it took more than a month for the part to come in and they never returned any of my calls. Finally this February, my church sent someone from a different company out and he fixed the system in 30 minutes. My girls and I went the whole winter last year and a huge part of this year with no heat. On top of that, I had to a half day off just to be home each time they showed up. I have never been made to feel so unimportant in my life. Why did I keep using them, you may ask? Because my home warranty kept sending them out and wouldn't contract anyone else out. I do t think this company should be in business after how they blatantly disregarded my children and me as if we just didn't matter. Shame on them.

So far not so good.  Supposed to come to the house and fix the heat on Tuesday - no show and no call. Still no answer on Wednesday.  Got it - there was bad weather but CALL your customers!

We used Greenway Services through American Home Shield and I had the worst experience that I have ever had with a service provider. They were called to check my air conditioning unit because it was not cooling. The repairman was at my residence for 5 minutes and told me it wasn't cooling because it was so hot outside.  I told him there was no way he could have even checked my unit in 5 minutes.  I still had to pay him the $125 service agreement for a service that I knew was not done.  Now two months, later my unit was still not cooling and I called them again since the temperatures had dropped substantially.  They just left my home saying that the coil is bad and that there is no way that the first repairman shouldn't have seen it because the coolant was leaking everywhere. Well I can tell you why, it's because he did not even check my unit.  He just ripped me off for $125 and now we are stuck with an expensive repair because of his lack of professionalism and customer service!  My coolant wouldn't have been leaking for two months if he would have just done his job and at least checked my unit.  This is so disappointing and I will never trust or use their services again.

We had a new Trane HVAC installed by this company in May 2014. No issues with the unit or the installation. It still working great at almost a year later. Price was much cheaper than competitors. Very satisfied.

When our AC went out we should've trusted our gut feeling and the poor reviews posted here. We, like others here, used them only bc our home warranty paid partially to replace when we used Greenway. We've had a new HVAC/heat pump unit since Aug 31, and they've been back to repair a not working AC or heater 8 (EIGHT) times since it was installed. The technicians will say they've fixed the problem, only for it to stop working again in a couple of days. I'm fed up with the system and this company in general, their lack of responsibility, and poor customer service in regards to the amount of problems we've had and little attempt to compensate us for our difficulties. DON'T RECOMMEND!! Only giving one star due to the fact that their technicians are at least pleasant when they come to repair.

This company has been working on all my HVAC systems and installed several for my family over the years. I don't understand the reviews, I guess my Greenway location in Nashville is the best!! My HVAC finally died on me Memorial weekend after countless bandaids that I insisted to be done against Cody Harder's better judgement, but he did it anyways. Cody has been working on all my systems over the years as a technician and now as a project manager he set me up with a great deal on a new unit. He worked very hard to make sure he had two technicians Justin and Jacob ready to install the unit Tuesday morning after memorial day. I gave him only two day warning and he hooked me up, now I cant have my thermostat lower than 75 in a 2400 sqft home and my condenser outside my bedroom window no longer sounds like a freaking jet airplane. Justin and Jacob were very professional and mindful of my house while they worked tirelessly in the rain. Pretty damn awesome if my only complaint is my thermostat has to stay at 75 and my condenser unit is now quiet! Good job everyone, happy customer!

They are extremely slow to get a technician out, even for urgent requests. When the technician left our stoppage was worse than it was before. He said he'd be back but it seemed like office didn't want to send him back to finish the job. They don't seem to care at all about their customers.

If I could give them a ZERO star rating I would.  I have a home warranty that sent Greenway out to my rental property to fix a sink that had come loose from the kitchen counter. Greenway has been canceling and rescheduling me for a basic repair for over a month now. Evidently they only have one plumber and every time he was scheduled to do the repair he'd call out sick or have an emergency. I have been waiting on them all of this time to fix my sink so I could get my house rented back out. Today they called me and said that my home warranty doesn't cover the repair. Are you kidding me?! They should of caught that waaayyyyy before now, but instead this delay has overall made me lose $2,000 due to their lack of follow through and communication. Give me a break. I will never, never, NEVA have anything to do with them ever again. What a inconsiderate way to handle business and a waste of my time and money. I'm sick and disgusted at this point.

Greenway along with American Home Shield treated my elderly parents (74 and 76 years old) horribly.  They were without AC for over close to three weeks, during some of the hottest summer days we have had here in Memphis.  They came three times and made failed attempts to repair it, and then completely burned out  the compressor because they had no idea what they were doing. Then had the audacity to leave them for another week without any AC. They missed appointments without any contact for reschedule or apology.  We purchased a large capacity fan for them and they came to stay at my house, but they would have to wait in the hot house until the tech was scheduled to come out, if they came out.   They would randomly call about an issue that had nothing to do with the problem.  My parents have paid over $12K over the years for the home warranty, and when it mattered they were completely left without any assistance or resolution.  My parents ended up going to another company and purchased a new unit.  Even though their unit was damaged by Greenway.  Greenway came out to give them a buy-out option, but they just received notice that it was refused because my parents did not wait for a price before buying a new unit.  So Greenway what were you waiting on them to do, be hospitalized from heat stroke or worse?  You are the most pathetic company any of us have ever dealt with and you should be ashamed of how you treated your customer and Senior Adult Customers at that.  No excuse for it.

Run, don't walk away from this business and the associated AHS warranty.  Really.  Latest from AHS and Greenway?  Only been 85 degrees here with our upstairs at 88-90 degrees makes nice sleeping weather.  Came out two days ago and said I needed a new compressor and they would call me.  Heard nothing until this evening and I got a text saying I would hear from them within 24 Business hours.   So, lets see today is Thursday night so I should hear back by next Tuesday or Wednesday?????  A bit unacceptable to me in terms of customer service.  I'd stay far far away.

OK I wish they had less than a 1 star. I would give zero if it was an option. Do not use these guys. Besides them taking a month to fix my refrigerator the service person pulled out my refrigerator without protection and damaged my wood floors. Also did work on my countertops without protection. He kept whipping his face and hair with a handkerchief. Usually the way a person id after a night of drinking. Took personnel calls during his time here. Bottom line is after filing a claim for the damage I was told the company was not at fault. So it sounds like they lied to the insurance company. Only way I could see this happening. I will be contacting a lawyer to try and get the information the insurance company found. They told me I had no right to the information and I am basically S%^T OUT OF LUCK. I never want to see this truck in front of my house again. And as far as the warranty company when my year is up they will be gone also.

Greenway is the most disrespectful, negligent company in the business. If you're using a home warranty company, they will ignore your service calls and put your service off until they feel like servicing you. They came out to my house and made the problem worse and then refused to come back out unless another work order was placed.  Then, when the home warranty placed another work order, they said they would come out between 12-5 and never showed. They lied and said they tried to call me but never did.  This is not the first time I've had to fight with them for weeks over a repair. Never thought a simple leaking faucet would lead to no water pressure and no return.  Beware!!  Call someone else!

My home warranty assigned Greenway Home my AC. Instead of one more band aid on these 33 year old units, we decided to go with new units. My project manager was Steve Carden. He showed up promptly to go over my options. We cane to an agreement far less than what I expected. The techs Bryan and Felix were prompt, professional and exceptional workers. The job took more than twice as long as expected as they cane across unexpected problems that were also fixed and I was not charged extra. The warranty is fabulous. I had some warranty questions yesterday and Steve drove out to explain and then backed them up in writing. They even came back today to install several switches in the attic that were not broken, just old. Best appliance service I've ever experienced!

I have been trying to get my upstairs unit in my house repaired since May
18, the issue is still not resolved.  Unfortunately, it is warranty work through AHS so I appear to be stuck and I have already spent $715 on a service call and freon.  Below is a series of events, horrible customer service.  The only positive so far is the technician is very polite but I still do not have air.  Documented this due to all the negative reviews on this company.
18-May Contacted AHS for service, scheduled for 5/22
22-May Diagnosed that I needed a new Evaporator coil - $75
24-May Meeting  with Patrick to discuss New unit
25-May Informed Patrick to repair, not replace
5-Jun repaired evaporator coil - $630 for freon
10-Jun noticed unit not cooling below 80 degrees
12-Jun requested service with AHC @ 1:31
12-Jun received call from Greenway to schedule, couldn't schedule, left msg to call me back @ 2;27
14-Jun Call from Greenway to schedule for 6/19 @ 12-5
16-Jun call from Greenway changing my appt from 12-5 to 8-12   call was at 11:07
19-Jun called at 11:40 requesting update on my 8-12 appt.  Was told appt was changed back to 12-5 and they failed to call me
19-Jun called me to advise the part HAD NOT arrived and rescheduled again for 6/20 - 10-2
20-Jun arrived at 11;20, departed at 2:50, said something was still wrong, temp is not getting cool enough, his manager would be calling me
20-Jun called Greenway and left a message @ 3:55

I only wish I could give Greenway Home Services 0 stars.
This company is a joke! Had a service call from them regarding a plumbing issue and encountered a series of problems with them. Finally called a local plumber and got the issue resolved in one visit.
The Greenway service call was initiated by American Home Shield, another 0 star company that I would not recommend!

On July 18th (It is now August 9th) Greenway came out to our house, through American Home Shield, our warranty company to look at our air conditioner that was broken.  The irony of this is they were out in May to replace it, but only repaired the old unit instead of replacing an outdated unit.  After 3 weeks of going back and forth on the paperwork from AHS and Greenway and multiple calls listening to each one say the other had the paperwork, we finally had Greenway say they were going to install a new unit.  One additional week has gone by because, well still no unit, and I called them today to continue to get the same excuses and of course no AC unit.  The girls answering the phones are very nice and polite, but their ineffectiveness to provide true customer service is unbelievable.  It amazes me that between them and AHS it has been so difficult to do the right thing which they should of done in the first place, install a new AC.  The fact that they are so lack lusting in actual service is why they truly receive a zero star rating.

I've used this company quite a few times because they are contracted by my home warranty company (American Home Shield). I never had a problem with them until April of this year. I had a service call for three toilets and one sink in my house. The technician told my husband that the parts needed to fix the toilet in the master bedroom were discontinued and that he would turn it in to AHS. Well, it's October and this toilet STILL has not been replaced. I have gotten the worst run around I've ever gotten in my life.

After not hearing anything for a couple of weeks, I called to check the status. They said they would turn it in and that I would then hear from AHS. After hearing nothing for a MONTH, I called back again and spoke with Doug. He had no record of me having a toilet that needed to be replaced. His records showed that everything was fixed. Then he lied and said that the technician that came didn't turn that in and that he no longer worked for the company. He said he would look into it and call me back. That was the first of five times he said that and NEVER called me back. This went on (me calling to check on it, Doug saying he was going to call me back and never did) until August, when I called AHS to complain about them and AHS called Greenway. Then Doug called me to set up for a technician to come out and look at my toilet again.

He said that it wouldn't cost my anything (obviously because they were still handling what they didn't fix in the first place). The same technician that came before came this time (yeah, the one Doug lied and said no longer worked for the company). He remember everything that was going on with the toilet. And he said he was on sick leave, by the way. So, all that time passed when they could have just called him to ask him about the toilet a long time ago. So, after that, they were supposed to turn it in and take care of it that time. Remember, it's October and it's STILL not taking care of. So, by September, when I called AHS to check on it, and they said Greenway still hadn't turned anything in. I started calling and asking to speak with the owner. I have left 3 messages for her and SHE has never called me back either. So, now I'm not surprised that Doug didn't call me back all those times. He's just following his example.

Two weeks ago Greeway FINALLY turned my toilet payout to AHS, BUT, they are showing that I owe a service fee from the time the sent the technician out to my house again. So, AHS is deducting that from my payout. I called Doug to get it fixed. His response was Oh! I see what happened. Mrs. Moore I going to take care of this for you right now. Yeah, STILL hasn't been done.

I don't want anything else to do with this company. At first I was going to just let it go, because they did fine all of the other times they came out. But now, I'm done. I unfortunately have to have them finish this out and fix the toilet because my payout would only be for $125. I don't see any plumbing company replacing a toilet for that cost. So the only choice I have is to either pay the rest out of pocket, or have Greenway replace it. I'm at a rock in a hard place. Either way, I'm putting Greenway on my refused list with AHS, and I will be informing everyone that I can about their service.

We too are customers of American Home Shield and they sent Greenway to come service our air conditioner. Our air was freezing up. So the tech came and said it is freezing up because it is dirty, and it is low on freon, so he allegedly put some freon in and cleaned the machine-- all of which wasn't covered by our warranty. After he left, the problem only got worse. We called AHS again, Greenway sent the same tech out, and said it is completely frozen and you probably need a new system, I cannot do anything until tomorrow and left. The next day the office calls and says they cannot be here until Friday. Well we find someone else a friend recommends, he came out checked everything, recleaned the system, and said the freon is really low, and there is not a leak, so they have to be letting it out. He put in an alternative to freon, and our air has worked ever since. We also had another company double check everything is good, and they certified it saying it is great, and no new unit is needed. American Home Shield and Greenway are both losing is as customers over this incident.

Zero Stars:  I have absolutely nothing good to say, as I sit here with 100 degrees and 100% humidity outside and NO A/C!!!!

American Homes Shield sent Greenway out last August 2019 for our A/C and after 2 weeks and numerous visits they finally sent someone that knew a little about the job he was doing. Our A/C needed a fan but that took a week to get the part in, they never tested for a Freon leak just said we needed 2lbs for $180 that we would have to pay for we did and got it going.

This summer, not even 6 months of usage on the A/C fix from last year, the A/C isn't working again, we get a time frame from 12:00-5:00 and our first idiot arrives at 5:30? He thinks it's this or that, but then goes to get his tester and can't find it in his huge mess in his truck where everything is thrown everywhere, come to find out he is a manager????  He leaves with us in limbo and No A/C?  So we call their main number and of course everyone has went home for the day and said they will have someone call in the morning. Well, at 9:00AM I call them again and the manager doesn't come in until 9:30-10:00 but they do show a note that she will call us.

We get a phone call at 10:00AM that a person will be to our house on the first appointment right at noon, 3:30PM another idiot shows up.  At this point we have 100 degrees and 100% humidity and he thinks its this or that and that we maybe need a compressor but that part won't be in for a week??????? OH and we would need to fill this new part up with all new Freon at $90 a pound times 10 lbs????? And we have to pay for it because warranty doesn't cover Freon?? Oh and then he starts bending and breaking our cover to the unit because its so hot my husband said, leave it I will put it on you are damaging it.

So here we sit in limbo again, and trying to see if we can switch companies.

I had a terrible experience with Greenway. After looking at my upstairs unit they left and forgot to put pipe back together and I didn't know until water was leaking from the kitchen ceiling.....I looked and saw a pipe that wasn't pushed back together. I notified them and they said they would have someone call....they never called and it was a week before they came out. When the guy came, he tried to lie about being the one who came out originally and then said he had never even been up there that the problem was outside.....which was a lie. He didn't take responsibility for his negligence and neither did Greenway. I have water damage because of this.....BAD BUSINESS. Just sad that no one takes pride in there name anymore....

DO NOT USE GREENWAY FOR ANYTHING! My warranty company sent them out to repair my washer, and two months later they still have not completed the simple task of replacing a part. They scheduled two appointments to finish the job and was a no show for both appointments. When my water heater went out last Friday, it took less than a week for another company (Pro N Stall) to replace it, but with Greenway I'm going on TWO MONTHS of being without a washing machine. Absolutely ridiculous! I wish I could give negative stars, because this company absolutely deserves it.

Worst service ever! We have been without air conditioning for weeks due to their lay incompetence. Obviously they do. not. care. Cannot recommend under any circumstance. Our home warranty company needs paperwork from them which they evidently cannot write up. Do not use these people.
Let me add that the ac part of this review was written about 5 or 6 weeks ago.
Now-this company was sent out by our home warranty company yesterday to unstop a toilet. A young man from their company came to my door with no tools or kit. He takes the lid off the toilet tank, asks me when the house was built(1998) and says you need a new toilet. I asked him if he was going to try to unstop it. He said there was no need because you need a new toilet. I told him my other toilet downstairs was acting the same way. He told me we need two toilets. I sent him on his way and called a plumbing company who arrived within two hours, sanded both toilets and my problem was solved.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
If I could give a rating of -100, I certainly would!

I have AHS warranty and a 15yr old Lennox pkg system. I called a Lennox company to come and give me their diagnosis before calling AHS so I knew what was going on. they sent Greenway out. tech. concurred with my independent findings that my unit needed a minimum of three parts, 2 on national back order and 1 no longer available. With the age , condition, parts not available, all recommended for heat, a new unit, as the gas had to b turned off due to leaks and co2. complaint was AHS had to hear it from Greenway mgmt. After 2 weeks of calling they told them the parts, but not the unavailability or the condition of my unit.  Greenway finally told them $340 parts and labor. The independent company quoted $4976, a big difference. They we're tired of my calls and are affiliated with AHS, and so I'm pursuing getting my $340 from AHS bc they said they weren't given the whole picture of the situation and at this point could only settle with that amount. I spent $8300 to get a new unit so we could have heat on 12/7/22, obviously from another company. Since then noticed that they aren't even an accredited BBB business so be careful.

I have been dealing with Greenway for over a year and a half now through American Home Shield warranty.  All I can say is that I do not recommend either company.  I started requesting service for my upstairs unit in May 2017, since then I have a total of 6 service request for the SAME problem.  The upstairs unit just blows air and does not generate the heat or cool  whichever setting I may have it on at the time.  Remind you its $100 pop each service call through AHS and only covered 60 days and then you get charged for another service call.  The best diagnosis Greenway gave me was the batteries on the thermostat needed to be replaced on a thermostat I had just installed the month prior to that call....yep that was $100, and the changing of the batteries and whatever else he may have done worked for about a week.  The last service is what did me in and now has me writing letters to the Better Business Bureau, once again it was again for the same problem.  And anytime they give you a diagnosis they then send out another guy so he can tell your home warranty options, which is replace the part or subtract the cost of the part off of the cost of a new unit.  So, this time I'm told I need to replace the air handler (basically the furnace upstairs in the attic space), but they need to remove my freon and top it all back off which the home warranty only covers $10/lb, so leaves me $100/lb on a 7lb unit.  There were a few other parts the AHS did not cover, total charge $1080.  So 11/30/18 the guy from Greenway comes out, installs it and he cannot get the outside condenser to come on.  He messes around outside for awhile, then tells me he'll have to send a technician out to diagnose the problem. He also says he checked the downstairs unit, mind you I've had no issues with that unit, and he said it was fine.  The next day the downstairs outside condenser is not coming on.  So once again here comes the same tech a week later.  Tells me it may be something in my breaker box and he needs a senior tech to come out.  I tell him about the downstairs unit, great, he'll write up a ticket for it.  Another week later the same tech and another guy come out.  They mess around upstairs for a while then tell me that the breaker box upstairs where the furnace is had a wire disconnected....WTF.  They eventually get it working.  Then they diagnose the downstairs unit with the same problem (has a bad TXV) and I need the same work done as I just had done on the upstairs unit, so looking at another $1000.  Low and behold, 3 weeks later (and I have not had them do any work on the downstairs unit) the upstairs unit is doing the exact same thing, not blowing heat through the vents, just circulating the air.  I go outside, neither condenser is running, yet inside furnaces are running.  I open the breaker box and the switch on the downstairs unit was flipped off.....shockingly the condenser came on.  So needless to say AHS wants to charge another service fee because my initial diagnosis was early October, even though the work was not completed until 12/14/2018.  That is not what they base it on.  After a angry call to AHS the customer service representative tells me she will contact Greenway to verify my service dates and call me the next day at a designated time.  It has been a week and I have not heard back from AHS.  Long story short, avoid AHS and do NOT contact Greenway for AC service.  They do NOT know what the hell they are doing.  They are friendly, but their service is joke, turned nightmare.

This company is absolutely the worse for ethnics and not servicing you within the timeframe they set (4 hr).  They even scheduled my service then called to say I was the next call and 2 hours after that phone conversation, I was told No the technician isn't coming to service your appliance today, because he doesn't have the part.  I have been trying to get one service call for dishwasher and refrigerator completed since August 27th and here it is November 26.  Today my time was 8 to 12 noon it's now 1:30 and still no technician.  Greenway deserves a negative star. Well it will not let me post unless I rate this company.  With sincere regrets I hate to give a star.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My parents got this repair place's # from Ahs, for an initial problem with their heating unit this past (2018)fall. It got fixed after 2 days no heat, whatever, we have electric heaters it's not an issue. Now my parents are elderly and my dad has parkinsons, and myself and my 2 kids live with them. They got bamboozled by the tech in my opinion because he talked my parents into buying a brand new ac unit before the hot season began and replaced it while I was at work (spring 2019). They won't tell me how many thousands of dollars they plunked down on it. Fast forward to yesterday, the ac went out. EXCUSE ME?!!? This BRAND NEW TOP OF THE LINE ac unit doesn't even work??? Oh they had to call their home repair (ahs) because this sham of a company wouldn't come out same day to look at it. They were told something is wrong with the line and to turn it off completely overnight. ITS 90 DAMN DEGREES IN THIS HOUSE and they cant come out until between the hours of 12 to 5pm. I'm hot, I'm angry, and I'm disgusted by this. And you better believe if they aren't here by 5 I'm calling every news outlet I can to report this scamming business. Oh an found this tidbit on other's google reviews, they are telling people to leave a 5 star review in order to be picked in a drawing for $$. Don't believe the recent 5 stars guys.

Buyer beware. My home warrantee company sent Greenway out to look at my AC. They told me I needed a new unit or thousands in repairs. I almost went with them but decided to get a second opinion. The other company said that all I needed was Freon. All we need is honestly and Greenway cannot be trusted.

I have had multiple techs come out that have canceled multiple appointments and have come and left without the right tools to do the job. They originally said the HVAC and Condensor were not the problem when I had water leaking from the condensation line into my guest bedroom. When they came back and finally went into the crawl space and found that the condensation line had been bitten all along the crawl space and was leaking profusely through the ceiling of my guest bedroom into the walls and door which fell off the hinges from swelling. They recently came out to check the AC and said everything was fine. I just found out that they closed my case and have to create a new one when my air conditioning has stopped working a few days after the last visit.
I would advise not using this company's services. The only reason I had to was because the previous owner worked with them and got a 10 year warranty on they HVAC and condensor.

I have had similar experiences to the others on here with both Greenway and AHS.  Why do I have to manage the office at Greenway to get my repairs done?  Like many of the others on here I also was given the hard sell to upgrade etc.  They showed up an hour late for the 4 hour window I was given.  They accepted an expedited call from AHS only to put me at the bottom of the priority list.  The receptionist who answers the phone and makes appointments is fond of saying well that's all i can do/tell you, you'll just have to wait.
I have now been without hot water for 6 days and the carpet in my basement is like walking in a wet sponge.  The plumber who came out to check the water heater (which had to be replaced) actually had the nerve to ask me if it was still heating the water.  I told him the water had been shut off to the heater and he said well you should still be able to get hot water.  Why did you turn off the water?  My only response was to sweep my arms over the wet floor and give him the duh look.  I cannot/will not ever let them in my house again.  We should be able to give less than one star.

If I could give this company -1000 stars I would. You do not want to deal with this company. We used them thru AHS. Our fan cover on our HVAC blew up...literally blew off. They sent some guy named Rob who seemed like he just woke up. He was so unmotivated. He would not even turn our unit on. When my husband asked him if he wanted him to turn on the unit..he stammered and said nah, I believe you, man.  He spent less than 5 minutes at the house. He said he was ordering a fan blade and cover. He said he would call the next day and let us know when the part would be in. Well the next day came and went and guess what..no call. So I called and of course no manager was available. So I talked to Maureen who mysteriously knew the part was in and they could have someone come out and install it for us the next day So if I had not called...no one would have called us . A new guy, Rich, came out. He seemed nice and seemed to know what was going on. He only had the fan blade. He said, Jonathan , the service manager said the other part was not under warranty. Ok so there was nothing Rich could do...we needed the top. He even repeated how dangerous it was. We would have paid for the top but the idiots couldn't even call us and let us know any of this. So another wasted visit and still no air fixed. I have sent an email to Whitney and Devin and asked Maureen to leave a message for Devin (manager)
to call me asap. Of course days go by and no one has ever called or emailed me. This is a sham of a company. Please stay away.  I don't see how these people sleep at night.

***Updated: Devin, owner, called back and came over and apologized. He fixed it himself. He sent another technician named Chris..who was awesome. Maureen came thru and kept me in the loop. I wish they had just done all of this in the beginning. I let Devin know about the bad reviews and he said people only review places with negative reviews and I disagree. I do think they could be awesome if they worked on their customer service skills but in the end they came thru.

Terrible.
Cody is a great tech.
The rest of the service is terrible. Evaporator coil replacement was diagnosed 2 days after contacting AHS. Then....nothing.  Initial request was on July 26th. It is now August 21st and house is still hot as hell. This company is bad. The techs are good. If

I have my warranty through American Home Shield and when our heating failed 2 weeks ago we were assigned Greenway Home Services. Upon reading the reviews here I have to admit I was really nervous. Chris was the technician assigned and he quickly identified the cause of the failure as a motor. Within two days they were back with the new part and everything's works great. The whole experience went smooth, I had updates when they would be at my home and all were within the times they committed to.

Do not let AHS or anyone refer you to this vendor.  They are not truthful, and they do not keep their word.  Their scheduling system and communications are a nightmare, and talking with those higher up in the organization gets you nothing -- not even your scheduled service call.

Using AHS, I received a call the next day from Greenway Services.  I had used them in the past, and until now, was not at all dissatisfied with the service.

On this occasion, Greenway set an appointment for a Monday between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m..
Around 4 p.m. we received a call on the designated cell phone telling us that the Greenway Technician was on his way.  At 5:05 p.m. I received a call on my secondary phone number where Greenway customer service said the Technician was on his way.  Unable to prepare a regular dinner, I spent money to go to Subway to purchase a dinner from which we could drop upon arrival of the Technician.

At 5:40 p.m. I started making calls to Greenway Customer Service.  No answer, but I left three messages.

On Tuesday, the technician called me and promised to meet me at my home at 4 p.m.  I requested to leave work early.  By 4:50 p.m., it was clear that the technician was not going to show up.  I again called Greenway customer service, who basically admitted that the technician had lied to me.

Eventually, I was able to speak with an Assistant Manager named Jonathan who was most sympathetic to my plight -- being stood up by Greenway twice.  Jonathan apologized and solemnly promised me that he would have some at my house between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Surprise! No one showed up -- AGAIN.  I called Greenway who explained that the thoughtful and empathetic Assistant Manager, Jonathan, had failed to pass on my information to the schedule department.  I was not scheduled at all!

After calling Greenway yet again, a technician finally showed up.  He was unable to fix my upper A/C unit, and shortly after he left, my downstairs unit -- previously cold as ice -- no longer worked either.  I called the technician no more than 10 minutes out, to ask him to return to check what he may have done to cause the lower unit to stop working. (It is only 1 year old and Greenway installed it).

The technician called me back to inform me that I must call customer service to schedule yet another call..  I called customer service, and finally after close to 10 calls they recognized me,
and offered to have someone come back out.  I requested a follow up call to verify that someone is coming.

Can you guess?  No phone call from Greenway or the technician as of the current hour.

Do NOT use this company. They said they would be coming to fix the heating unit between 10 and 2 on Saturday. They arrived after 3 and then said they needed to order a part and would be back hopefully by Monday. It is now Wednesday and temperatures have been below freezing and they have not yet returned. They called me this morning to assure me they would be here today between 10 and 2. It is now 2:40, they won't answer their phone and they have still not arrived. If you have American Home Shield, request any other company unless you want to literally be freezing in your house for days.

I've never in all my life. I wish I could post this review with NO STARS. Greenway Home Services is the most inefficient company I've ever come in contact with in any industry. From those in the call center to the 6 technicians who came out over the course of two weeks to repair what turned out to be simple problems with our HVAC. We had multiple technicians give different diagnoses only to be laughed at by the subsequent tech who confidently promised to know better. No one shared notes meaning that I had to explain what the previous tech had said and done. Once we FINALLY got to what we *crossed our fingers to be the final solution, the parts department ordered the wrong part and left for the day. Poor scheduling. Poor service. Poor everything. We knew better going in. Our home warranty forced us to use them as the required vendor. It would have been better to have paid the high quotes from other companies. Home owners beware. Over two weeks without air, held hostage by a warranty and a company that doesn't care.

I have to echo what most other reviewers are citing in other reviews.  The tech was ok but the company itself (Greenway) is absolutely terrible.  You get ghetto, complacent, ignorant customer service when you call them with inquiries and they make NO effort to fix your issue.  I have had a non-cooling refrigerator for 62 days now and they are now telling me that the correct parts order was put in yesterday (61 days from the first tech visit).  This is the only company that American Home Shield uses in Nashville so run from both companies.  American Home Shield is expensive, has an average hold time of over 40 min when calling customer service (unless you choose the option to purchase new service as you then get immediate help, go figure).  I am a reasonable person but the 2-3 week scheduling gaps provided by Greenway are ridiculous and when you figure in the sub par job they do they inevitably have to come out multiple times which then becomes a battle as they want you to pay multiple service call fees FOR THE SAME ISSUE.

RUN FROM AMERICAN HOME SHIELD AND GREENWAY HOME SERVICES!!!!

Epic fail. Took two weeks to schedule an appt to fix an ice dispenser for a refrigerator. Cancelled the day before and rescheduled it again for a week. On the day of service tech called refusing to come because there was no free parking! What a butt hole! Called Greenway and supported their claim that they do not pay for parking fees! Would have been very glad to pay to have my ref fix. Beware with this company! Will have to call back AHS!

My partner and I have had several encounters with greenway, thanks to AHS. Last summer they came out to see why the AC was not cooling. They put in 5lbs of freon which cost us over $600. Less than a month later we had to call them back and they said it was low on freon but we did not have a leak. Needless to say we had to replace the unit.
This past Friday our hot water heater went out. On Monday greenway sent a guy to check and he said we would need a new water heater.  But he also said that the pipes and the gas lines were not up to code so it would cost us an additional $500+ and it would take up to a week to get the new water heater in.  This was not acceptable to us so we contacted a reputable company to come give us a second opinion. They checked the things that the greenway guy had said, and the pipes and gas lines were actually in code. Apparently greenway has trained their guys to get as much as they can out of AHS customers. We will never use greenway again!!!!

UPDATE: Kim from customer relations called me back due to this review. They somehow found away to get the only technician that covers Clarksville freed up to come today. This was amazing news. However, Kim called back a short time later and told us the parts that we were told they received days ago, didn't actually come in. SO ONCE AGAIN A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! Just keeps getting worse!!!

This is the WORST company. Please do yourself a huge favor and do not use them. They are a waste of time and your money. There are plenty of better and more professional companies out there. I have argued with them on the phone to fix my AC unit, its over 90 degrees in my house and  I have a 7 month old here. The only thing they can give to BS excuses as to why they are too incompetent to get a technician to my house.

Would've given zero stars if the option were available.

I have a maintenance contract with American Home Shield, otherwise I never would've put up with Greenway. It's been so bad, I'm not going to renew my AHS contract.

How bad? My first washing machine call was on May 10. It's now June 24. I've had four service calls, and the washer is still badly broken. We're making weekly trips to the laundromat because Greenway can't get the washer fixed. Six weeks and counting.

The AC unit is the real kicker. I went to the AHS web site on June 9 and submitted a service request. The web site told me I couldn't submit one at the time. I tried again on June 11, and ended up calling the AHS phone number. No human answered, so I left a message, asking for service. I didn't get a call back, so on June 16 I had an independent company refill the cooler. That was $550+.

The next day, the AC went out again. Early on the morning of June 19 (Father's Day), I submitted another service request on the AHS web site. Finally got a call from Greenway on June 20 - and was told a service person wouldn't be available until June 23. We're camping out in the living room in the interim.

Service person arrived June 23. The coils are frozen. He had me turn off the AC and keep the fan running. Said he'd have Greenway call back and make an appointment, hopefully for June  25, but by June 27 at the latest.

Greenway didn't call me, so today, June 24, I called them. Soonest they can come out is June 29. That's 20 days from when I first started having problems.

Greenway hasn't fixed the problems, in spite of numerous tries and horrendous delays. We're using a laundromat and camping on the living room floor. What do I think about Greenway? Zero stars.

We use Greenway through American Home Shield.    They typically come out every year and we pay our deductible to replace the freon.    Never once did they say this isn't normal and we should check for leaks.    So we filled up both AC units with freon last year and American Home shield covered their $70 (which my deductible conveniently offsets) and I pay several hundred dollars.

So this year our upstairs unit starts freezing up.   They schedule a technician for a particular day and the night before they tell me I'm first on the list for a 8am-noon slot.     I call at 10am that morning asking where he's at, the office doesn't know.    He calls me at 11am saying he'll be here in 30 minutes.   The funny thing is, the office called me back a few minutes and asked me if I knew where he was.   He finally shows up, he doesn't even check which outside unit is our upstairs unit, but checks the freon on both.   He says one outside unit has too much freon and one has too little, so he moves a little from one to another to make it work.   So he leaves.

The house still isn't getting cold.  We get fed up and call a two weeks later.  I request a different service man because this first guy was so unreliable and I had a very bad feeling.     2nd guy shows up, checks to see which unit is the upstairs and says the first guys gauge must have been off because its clearly low on freon.   He added the freon and said the downstairs unit checked out fine.

Again, the house isn't getting colder, so again we call two weeks later.    The guy from the second trip comes again and says the upstairs unit is short on freon and again adds it.

A week later, the AC unit is still having issues, so we call them and they finally say they need to come out and check for leaks.   They do that, and YES, there are leaks.

Now my options are for them to order a part which American Home Shield will cover worth $630 and I pay out of pocket to fill the whole thing with Freon, reclamation and some fitting to make the coil match my system worth about $1k.   Or I can put that that $630 towards a new unit.      They tell me if I want the coil they will have to order it and it will take about 10 days, or of the new unit is in stock and they could schedule someone the next day.    So we suck it up and put in the new unit.

The following day they leave, our downstairs unit which we've had zero issues with all summer starts dying.      I don't know if they nudged something or what, but what was a fully functional unit is now causing us issues the next day.    Icing on the cake was when I go out to take a look at it, and I see they cut the pipes leading the water drainage away from the foundation of the house for some reason, and just left them like that.   So now I have water dripping 3 inches from my house.

I'm completely frustrated.  I get the feeling they don't spend the time to do any job right, just want to blow through their appointments as quickly as they can since its summer time and they are busy.

They are rated 1.7 for a reason. Over 3 weeks without heat. Parts ordered, never arrived. Once arrived sent a technician who didn't have the part. Rescheduled visit. They didn't show up not shown in the system I ever called them twice asking about that appointment. Next appointment they canceled bc the part they ordered wasn't for me???? DO NOT USE THEM. You have been warned. 0 STARS.

I had a contract with America Home Shield and they contract greenway home service for repairs. I put in a service call for our air conditioning unit back in May 2020.  I cancelled AhS after the contract was up because they wouldn't even schedule a service call and that I needed to call the manufacturer. After having 7 techs come out to try to fix the repair and 3 months with no air. Greenway got my unit to cool off but it only worked for 4 months: we didn't bother to call them back after having to go through so much with them and the weather was cooler. So moving forward to today as the weather warms up I call them to get a quote. A tech came out on 5/10 and told us that it's the same problems that they repaired in May 2020 and that someone will call us with options and thie prices to repair our unit.  No one called us I call them after a couple days and they send someone else out who said they would give us options, the tech came and he just told us the history of what they already done and that we can replace the unit or repair I told him we didn't want it replaced and how much would repair be. He didn't have any prices and told me again someone else would call with prices. It's a week later and we still don't have anything to tell us how much the repair would be. I called several times and talked to a manger and she told me someone would call me again, still nothing. I wouldn't recommend them to fix a toaster: they are a rip off as well as American Home Shield because had Greenway not kept saying they can fix my unit which obviously did not/could not, we could have a new unit by now and now they don't even want to repair it.
