Best Fence Installation in Phoenix AZ
After basically being scammed by a neighbor who claimed they could put in a gate for us and knew what they were doing these guys fixed what was wrong. They were fast affordable and communicative. Before they came slates of our gate were falling off constantly these guys fixed it.

We were hit by the EF1 Williams (Junipine Estates)Tornado that took out 13 sections of our fence, among much more; found Brust Fencing on Yelp and sent him a message on Sunday, and was amazed and delighted that he contacted us immediately, and came out that same day to assess the damage! I honestly have to say, WE NEED MORE Businesses like Brust Fencing; so responsive, honest, and really works hard to take care of his customers!!!! They do beautiful work, and are a dream to work with!!!!
If you need a new fence or repair of what you have; do yourself a favor and call Brust!!!! And, NO, we had never had any dealings with Brust Fencing prior to the disastrous tornado!!!!

I recently needed to replace an old and rotted gate at my home. I reached out to several different fencing companies, but only Custom Fence & Gates responded. I am so glad they did because this company built a beautiful custom gate for a very reasonable price and not only installed it, but removed my old gate as well. This company used quality materials and the time it took to build was very short. They did a great job installing the new gate and the installation crew was very friendly and professional. Both Dawn and Troy were excellent. They never missed an appointment time and I was very happy with my experience. I can't recommend Custom Fence & Gates more highly for all of your fencing needs. This company truly values their customers!

Keith and his crew were awesome from start to finish. I worked with Keith to complete a kitchen and master shower renovation. The tile work by Carlos is simply the BEST I've seen. The guy measures twice and cuts once and it all fits perfect. Paul the plumber knows his job inside and out!! The electricians used were great as well, despite the spray foam insulation they were able to put in new outlets and move others.
Keith is a hands on GC that goes above and beyond to make you happy as a customer. His easy professional style is beyond his years in the industry.
If you're looking for a contractor give Keith a call!!

I can't say enough about this business. The owner was honest, attentive to what I was looking for, honest about his timeline, and great with communication throughout the process. The price he quoted me was also very competitive with other companies. I was pleased with this company before the RV gate was even delivered and installed.
I was even happier when the gate arrived! His crew took their time on the install to make sure everything was perfect, and the quality of the gate was excellent.
They will be my first call if ever need any iron work at my residence. I couldn't be happier with the final product.

we have a house uptown Sedona and we used Steven Eagle Design to design and install a fence around our entire yard.
we had the best experience working with them. they are a great team that would go out of their way to please their clients.
very honest group and their pricing was great. I would recommend them for sure and we had such a great experience working with them. I can not say enough good things about them. we love our new fence. Michael

Juan and the entire G&C construction team were some of the best contractors I have ever worked with! When searching for a company to remodel our kitchen I reached out to multiple vendors, and G&C was by far the lowest, while also taking the most time to work with us on our design and plan out everything we needed. The remodel included a total demo of the old kitchen, installation of new cabinets, electrical, granite countertops, and a back splash. The quality of their work was second to none, and they finished the project on time and on budget. We love out new kitchen and will be reaching back out to G&C every time we have any other home improvement needs!

Vets Built is a touchdown. I knew the moment I met Bob he was our guy. Knowledgable, easy going and shows up when he says he will. Our kitchen flooded and we had already been burned once on this project before we found Bob. Such a breathe of fresh air. He was in consistent communication with us and wasn't afraid to call with bad news like supplier delays which weren't uncommon at the time. He gave us weekly updates on our project and I was never left guessing what's next and the timeline. We are very happy with the finished product. I trust Bob and he is the first guy I call now when I need some help. I have already used him twice on other projects with the same excellent results. Highly recommend VetsBuilt!

Andy is the best. I have two homes and he has worked on both of them. There is nothing he can't do,from the simplest to the most difficult renovation. He treats your home as if it was his, very tidy, always on time, and besides that he is a nice guy who you can trust. I would highly recommend him!

Ruben is such a great guy! We had a big repair needed for our Air Conditioner, and it was late at night, and he was able to come and help us and fixed the AC with like 1 hour notice. He saved the day!! It was super hot that night (it was this past Thursday night) and he was able to get the AC back and running. So we were able to survive the Phoenix heat! Thanks Ruben. We appreciate your help.

THEY SAY YOU ONLY GET ONE CHANCE TO MAKE A GOOD FIRST IMPRESSION
Calling your company First Impression (a bad idea) is almost a 100% guarantee that you're gonna eventually wish you hadn't. It's kinda like naming your favorite pet, LUCKY (another bad idea), an almost 100% guarantee that the poor little beast will suffer a very horrific and untimely end.
I bought an historic house in downtown Phoenix. It needed some security doors installed to deter local druggies/urban outdoorsman. Because the home is unique, the doors needed to be unique as well. So, no crappy Home Depot security doors would do. I wanted elegant and secure. I knew I'd pay more, but I knew it would be worth it.
FIRST IMPRESSION: BAIT AND SWITCH
I learned about First Impression Ironworks through an advertisement offering a discount on certain custom doors. I had a sales rep come out, picked my style and color, and got measurements and a quote. Two doors would run me $950 per door with installation. It was more than I expected, but I figured keeping downtown creepers at bay was well worth the price. I signed the contract and gave the guy half down as a deposit. A week or so later, the install guy came out for final measure and told me my door frames wouldn't allow an inside frame install like I wanted. He said he'd have bolt them to the outside of the door frame and this would cost me $350 more per door for extra materials and install time.
SECOND IMPRESSION: THEY CAN'T MEET A DEADLINE
They had me by the balls at this point and I needed the doors -- and my balls -- so I agreed to an install for 4-6 weeks out. Three days before install, I get a call saying they didn't have the doors completed and it would be another 2-3 weeks before they could come out. Pissed off doesn't even begin to describe what I was feeling at that point.
THIRD IMPRESSION: BAD WORKMANSHIP
The second Install date arrives and they send only one guy to do an install that should've been done by two guys. These doors were big and heavy. After the work was done and the guy left, I noticed a few things that weren't right. All the bolts and screws were visible and accessible on the exterior of the doors. Any first-time home invader with a set of basic Harbor Freight tools and a 5th grade education could easily dismantle them.
The back door framing material wasn't flush with the house in many spots. The top of the door had a quarter inch gap between the house and the frame. Great if you like rain pouring into your house; not so great if you don't. Other issues included: a back security door that wouldn't close properly. A front door bottom that scraped against the concrete patio. A lock cylinder that kept jamming up. Can you guess what my impression of First Impression was at this point? So, I set up a service call to have repairs done. One week in and I had to repair a handful of serious issues I never expected at that price point.
Fast forward a year... screws falling out, back door still won't close correctly, and the front lock cylinder jams all the time. I call for service. They tell me I'm two months out of warranty and it'll cost me 100 bucks. I fight to get the price reduced. A guy comes out and messes with the lock. Puts a missing screw back in and adjusts the back door. Within one week, the front door lock cylinder is jammed again. I pull the hardware off the front door and investigate. The hardware screw hole and the door frame screw hole don't align. Not just a crappy hardware thing, but a crappy workmanship thing as well. Unbeknownst to me, they had forced a screw in at an extreme angle to make it fit. Probably what caused many of the jamming issues.
The icing on my security door cake was when case manager, Tatum Percival, tells me in her best FUZZY LOGIC that First Impression isn't responsible for faulty hardware they put on their doors because they don't make the hardware. WOW! That would be like Southwest Airlines saying they're not responsible for any crashes due to faulty landing gear on their planes because a third party manufacturer makes the landing gear for their planes. Alrighty then! What about the poor workmanship on YOUR product? Anyone on your end taking responsibility for that?
MY FINAL IMPRESSION: An expensive and poorly constructed security door that doesn't keep you secure isn't a security door...it's just an expensive and poorly constructed door. Buyer beware!

After visiting the Maricopa County Home and Garden Show, we decided to order double entry security doors for our front entry. They sent a salesman to the house and we wrote a contract on 1-23-2018. The doors were scheduled for installation on Tuesday 2-13-2018. Upon installation, the installer realized the doors were made wrong and had to be taken back to the factory. On Saturday 2-17-2018, they called to reschedule the re-installation for 3-12-2018. After the reinstallation was completed, we realized that the doors were painted 2 different colors. On 3-13-2018, we called Customer Service and emailed pictures of the door colors. As of today, 3-26-2018, we still have not heard a response from Customer Service. If you are considering purchasing security doors from this company, expect long delays and poor quality assurance.

I so wish I could give a lower star rating than one. These people don't deserve a single star. I had very nice salesperson come out to my house, I picked out 2 doors and paid in full because there was a discount. HUGE MISTAKE. About a month later my installer came to do my doors and was unable to finish (or really start) as he said he needed help. He was on the phone in front of my house for an hour with someone who I guess was trying to talk him thru it. This didn't work so he said he needed to come back. A few days later he and another person showed up and installed 2 doors. I was already inconvenienced that they didn't finish the job the first time so I was unable to stay for them to finish that day. I came home to a front door that didn't shut all the way because of the weather stripping and a back door that would not open all the way and was installed with large screws showing and not fixed to the stucco.
A few weeks later I was scheduled to have a Master Craftsman come out to fix the doors. I was left a message that they would be there no later than 9. The next day, I get a call saying i'm 3 on his list and might be there around 1. I obviously had to make 3 calls to get someone out there and they still didn't show up until around 1.
While the installer made the door look much better, 2 days later it would not shut.
I called their office as I was not going to keep this door, I asked for them to come get my back door and give me my money back. The declined and wanted to set up a 4th visit. I am not ok with that and they refused to remove the door and refund me for a security door that DOES NOT CLOSE. I was also told via email that if I removed the door myself it would void my warranty. HAHAHAHAHA...a warranty on a door that never worked for more than a day is worthless anyway.
There are plenty of options in Scottsdale for security doors, I would advise you to choose someone other than First Impressions.
