I recently decided to do some work on my house, but didn't really have the time or patience to call several people to do estimates for each separate job - I had worked with Bob through my work, so I called him - he responded almost immediately and we began planning Stucco, paint and windows and doors for my house.  I had some hold ups with my refinancing, but when it finally through Bob was ready to go.  I had the Stucco and Window people at my house within the same week.  The project was a bit drawn out because I ended up buying a custom front door, but the day the door came in, the folks from K&J doors were at my house putting them in, and the following day the stucco guys were here.  He's been to the house several times to check on progress, and he made several special trips, one of which to install a screen door for me.  Bob had realized that the screen was a 2 person job, and brought along a friend who had installed several screens in the past.  Once they unboxed my door, they realized that I had purchased the wrong size door.  Bob packed the door back up, went to Home Depot, returned it,  got the right door and had it hung, all before I got home from work.  Everyone that works with Bob has been professional and so easy to work with.  Bob had the contacts and resources to get things done (even last minute) and always answered my million questions.  I would absolutely recommend VetsBuilt Contracting!

The tile and plumbing job for a remodeled bathroom was completed with precise attention to detail. The prep, and installation of both floor and wall tile were professionally completed. The project remodel looks like the way it should be, Brand New. Wonderful service, and came to work in a timely manner as promised.

We needed to add skirting to the stairs, upgrade the lighting and add handrails to our curved staircase. It was important to get the handrails installed as soon as possible since my husband recently had a stroke and navigating the stairs was very difficult.

Another contractor recommended Daniel at One Stop Wordworks. He answered my call promptly, gave me a written bid and expedited the  work. They were friendly, efficient and on time. They protected the surrounding area, cleaned up after every step and followed up until the entire project was completed.

Eric is a very hardworking and conscientious. I recommend his company for renovations and various other handyman work.

If you want an honest handyman then Jeremy The Handyman is your first choice. The best home repair in all of Scottsdale by far...Has the down home feel of someone who is honest, caring & most of all gets the job done right. (No matter how bad you have screwed it up) Jeremy & his team handled everything from my lightbulbs to major home renovations. I appreciate the respect he shows to his employees & my family as well. We remodeled 3 bathrooms (this was our first remodel) and were very nervous about the process.  We interviewed 5 contractors and Danny's quote was by far the most detailed.  He and his crew of wonderful guys worked 6 days a week arriving at 7 every morning.  They did their best to make us feel comfortable while they worked and made sure to clean up each day.  Their work is exceptional and we are thrilled with the results.  If you want someone who is easy to communicate with, okay with last minute changes :), highly skilled, and punctual....Danny is your guy!!

These guys were amazing! They patched up our door. I called about 5 different places and they were all giving me quotes up to $1000.

Hired Golden Bear to remodel master bath and second bathroom in March 2020.  I gave it 5 stars so you can read about my experience and who this guy really is.  You decide.

Mike and his partner did all the tile work, plumbing, electrical and some touchup painting themselves, no subcontractors - with the exception of the glass shower wall/doors, which everyone subcontracts. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome.  They were very easy to work with, which is why I hired them.  On several occasions Michael saved me from my bad ideas.  

But there were issues around the finishing details. I had to go over the work and point out with stick notes many finishing details like at the base of the cabinets, grout cleanup in corners and rough finishing edges.  Overall in the end the master bath came out great.

But in the second bath the amount of grout clean up issues were extensive.  For some reason they decided to change the color of the grout without my consent and it looked terrible. I was told the color would change after it dries.  

Well the grout color did not change when it dried, the color they used what not what I selected.  Michael stop taking my calls after he admitted they used the wrong color and said they would come back and fix it.   I had to hire a tile company to change the color of the grout.

I do recommend that Michael hire someone to do the finishing work he does not like doing.  Would I hire him again or recommend him - NO.

Jean has done several project for us including poo repair, pavers installation, faux grass installation, and concrete repair. Jean does excellent work. He listens to the needs that you have and then offers a variety of solutions to meet those needs. His prices are competitive and the quality is very high. I highly recommend home for all home improvement needs.

Russ recently repaired a wooden windowsill for us, and the wooden gate that leads to our backyard. Both jobs were impeccable. We're requesting additional work: window screen replacement, the installation of a porch light, and additional outdoor electrical and lighting.

Hands down, Q is one of the best out there - he's honest, hardworking, knowledgeable and very trustworthy. I referred him to my family members as well. Easy to communicate with and no project is too big or too small from electric, plumbing to installing tvs, I would highly recommend him to everyone.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

This company is great! They fixed a few holes in my house and did some minor repairs I've needed to have done. They were very easy to make an appointment with and they know their stuff!

I had been searching for a contractor for about a year to get my 1990's master bathroom remodeled.  I had received six different quotes, all of which were way overpriced (in my opinion).  I received a referral and met with Andrew.  After speaking with him, and viewing his previous work, I felt I could trust him to do a good job.  He was helpful in getting me thru the permit process, as well as helping me with changes the Village required due to a change in ordinances.  I am extremely happy with the outcome and am enjoying my new master bathroom.  I'll be calling upon Green Home for additional work I need.

We recently moved into our new Toll Brothers home and had a challenging time looking for a good contractor that will design my entertainment wall at a reasonable and fair price.  With the recent challenges we all face with contractors taking advantage of price "spikes", and long wait time for a project to begin, Canterra Construction beat the competitor's reliability and price!  Initially, I contracted for an entertainment wall design with them.  Cathy took it to a personal level in designing my wall and brought samples of stones and tiles.  She factored in my interior designs, colors, and furniture to select the best.  And wow, my husband and I are so amazed with the professionalism, reliability, designs, and the material used for our wall that it became one of the "wow" factors of my home!  Because of this company's professionalism and awesome work, I continued to contract them for my back and front yard.  Again, Cathy understood our goal.  She uniquely put together another great design at an affordable price.  Next contract is for accent walls and designs for all my rooms.  I am excited for this project. We had Rosa and her team come out to do some wainscoting and wall paint for an accent wall.  They did an excellent job and was on budget and the time schedule.   We would definitely call them back for any projects in the future.

I see in reviews, a lady didn't get reference from Martin.  I have since told Martin he may give out my cell number by request.  I was 100% satisfied by the workmanship and courtesy of his team.  He is a busy business and communicates via text.  I am sure if you text him, you will get a reply back.  I am already saving my money for the next project for Martin at my house.
