VETSBuilt Contracting Flooring Contractor
DJ and Bob are a real class act. I have never met a crew that goes out of third way to help you in your time if need.

We (pre-Vetsbuilt) made an innocent mistake of hiring a design builder whom we found out after they walked off the job that they were also not licensed  to be doing any of the work performed. Lesson learned.

Vetsbuilt stepped up, making everything a breeze from filing the correct permits to making sure all the existing work has been brought up to code and removing work that was just way to wrong to even correct. DJ and Bob are even making sure to keep the inspectors informed about regulations that have saved us a lot of money.

Another big advantage is they are willing join you in off site meetings with suppliers and this keeps you from having unanswered questions and surprises. No more of that oh I thought we talked about that kindest of B/S on the job site.

Vetsbuilt, always seems ready to tackle your junk and their subcontractors are on standby ready to tackle the job the next day! I am amazed about the speed at witch these guys work, they show up on site ready to work at 6 am and are busy all day. They aren't the kind that claim they been at Home DEPO all morning getting supply's and show at at 11 to unpack and take a lunch break.

These guys are straight forward, you get a real detailed contract that clearly states costs and when the payments are due. They are also a company that you can trust and this is hard to find. When you pay your invoice you know they will be there to fulfill it and not just take your money and run!

We are proud to be supporting this crew and I wouldn't be afraid to use this guys on any project big or small.

D&D Construction Flooring Contractor
Dion and his team installed tile, baseboard, and did a full interior paint.  I didn't know what to expect as it was my first time working with a contractor and getting work done on my home.  I worked with his designer, Monica, who offered great advice for someone who knows very little about design.  By just providing her with my general desire, she came back with various samples to help me decide what I liked most.  The end result was awesome.  It really helped to modernize the whole place.

I was also very happy working with Dion as he was willing to answer all of my dumb questions and address all my concerns since I've never done this process before.  When the project was coming near the end, I was impressed with how much detail Dion looked for in the final workmanship of the project.  He found more nits than I did and made sure his guys got everything on point.  He even got them to address issues that they didn't do and were an artifact of previous work done on the home.

Overall, I would recommend him to friends and I will definitely be working with him again for work on my home.

Spicegirl Remodeling & Design Flooring Contractor
So far I have loved working with Ericka and Rosie of Spicegirl Remodeling and Design. They finished my roof in a few days and the team that did it was informative and paid a lot of attention to detail. This was especially important to me as I am about to install a large solar array. I liked working with them so much that I contracted them to remodel my master bathroom.

They also installed door vents and new matching accedes to my attic on both sides of my house so that is could do other efficiency work. (Duct repair, sealing the roof, sealing can lighting, blowing in another 18 inches of insulation)

I will be updating my review with photos and a description when the bathroom is finished.

I'd recommend them to anyone.

Solid Home Renovations Flooring Contractor
Wow! Wow! Wow!
We initially found Solid Home Renovations on Yelp for a full home renovation including knocking down walls & installing beams, raising ceilings, leveling floors, new kitchen, bath, flooring throughout and more! Boy did we get lucky! After the initial meeting, Danny won us over with his personality, knowledge and organization in planning for the reno. We knew immediately after he left that he would be the best fit. Since the job was so big, we did move out during most of the renovation, but Danny made sure we were informed daily on everything that was going on in the house, texting pictures & answering any questions we had. He efficiently updated our more than fair quote to reflect our changes/add-ons throughout the entire process. Time-wise, his team finished the job in 6 weeks as he forecasted. The guys cleaned up after themselves daily, I have never seen a cleaner worksite! The attention to detail when installing fixtures, floating shelves, painting, trim, etc was superb. !
We absolutely love everything that Solid Home Renovations provided. They're hands down the most professional & hard working team we've experienced. Danny truly takes pride in everything he & his team do. Thank you for everything guys!

Arizona Floors & More Flooring Contractor
After contacting them they called to set up a quote within the hour. Lisa showed up measured and got the name of the tile we wanted. A few days later she emailed a quote since we could get the tile cheaper at AZ Floor and Decor we bought the tile from them and AZ Floors did the install. The install cost was a little higher than I wanted to be but after reading their reviews I thought you have to spend money to get quality work plus we were having a lot of ceramic tile and some carpet torn out. Original quote was 5 days total, 3 for demo 2 for laying the tile. Supposed to start on a monday got a call from sales person that they cant start till tuesday, ok no big deal. Start Tuesday with demoing the tile, it took them all day to remove just the tile, not sure if this is on par or not. Next day we were not there as they continued to work so no clue when they showed up to work but when I got off work I got there around 2 and they had grind down about 10 sqft of the thin set. Which they were having problems with my breakers tripping but if its not working why continue to try it move on to something else. They only started ripping up the carpet when I mentioned it. Next day again no clue when they got there but they were able to keep a breaker not sure what was going on there. They got about 1/3 of the thin set up and jack hammered some of the other but not completely flat. Friday got a call from the sales person telling us they would be charging us for an extra day due to the thin set taking so long..... yeah not too happy about that but work continued as they finished grinding the thin set. Saturday it was ready for tile install they did finish laying tile in one of the kids room and cut tile for the next room. Monday comes and they showed up early finish laying tile in two of the four bedrooms so three bedrooms have tile in them if you are counting at home, oh and they left before 1. I ask them to start grouting the next day of what they got installed so I can put my kids' rooms back together. Tuesday they grout and me and my wife go into the store to talk about whats going on. Our sales person wasnt there so I talk to someone else. After asking when our floors would be done the person we talked to asked how long have they been working and when we would be moving in. After I told her it had already been a week and we were living there her face changed and said ok wow yeah I will have your sales person call you. We get home and the lead guy working on the tile tells me they would be bringing in another set of guys to get this done. Later that night we get a passive aggressive text from the sales person basically stating that they had run into problems with our house and we need to be patient, ok maybe it wasnt passive aggressive but thats how i took it, but they continued to work and the floors finally got done that Thursday with the extra crew. So 5 days of work turned into 9 days and we paid for them to move our furniture and move it back after, they moved the couches and entertainment center they asked if I was good so they can leave. Looking at it now I wish I would have hired someone from craigslist to do it, the quality of work probably would have been the same.

Customer Service - 1 out of 10
Quality of work - 6 out of 10
Timeliness - 1 out of 10
Would never use them again would not recommend anyone to use them.

Global Prevention Services Flooring Contractor
We recently used this company to renovate our 50 year old fiberglass shower and tub/shower. Due to the Covid pandemic it was difficult to contact companies to give us even an estimate for the work we needed done. Global Prevention Services was very prompt returning phone calls/e-mails and we quickly had our estimate and contract.
The workers were very professional and did an outstanding job. We are very satisfied with the completed work.

Canterra Construction Flooring Contractor
I highly recommend Ceaser and his team. We are currently working on a kitchen remodel and needed to resize a window so we could fit more cabinet space, and his team did an excellent job. They also replaced our ceiling fan and did some drywall repair that turned out great. Ceaser is really great about keeping in contact with you every step of the way and all the people he sends out are very friendly and do an excellent job. Turnaround is also very quick and quotes were fair. It was great to not need to find multiple experts for a complex job on my own!

Highly recommend them! Will be using Canterra for more stuff in the future!

Global Elite Builders Flooring Contractor
I have known Keith for years...found them on a site years back and asked if they could help my old boss paint some rooms in our office.  They did great!  Later, I hired them to paint some rooms in my home and install a super cool rock mailbox as my old one was falling apart.  They also painted my old bosses exterior of his home, did lots of electrical, installed some pigeon proof material, and he was super happy with them.  The company is super fast at communicating, estimates, and just  all around great people.  Ask for Keith...he will help get any/all projects taken care of. Amazing company folks...don't look anywhere else!!!

Peters Family Construction Flooring Contractor
We did a full remodel on our house. The original contractor kind of bailed on us and didn't finish some of the work. We called several companies to finish the job for us. Zach and Terrell finished our project in a matter of days. They came out and gave us an estimate and we were fortunate they could fit us in between jobs.

They installed a custom built in electric fireplace with designer touches. The work turned out amazing. In the past year we've probably had over 50 different companies in our house from plumbers to contractors to painters, etc. Peters Family Construction would get our #1 ranking out of all of them.

Rhino Construction & Remodeling Flooring Contractor
I would highly recommended using Rhino construction for your remodeling needs. We had to completely remodel our entire bathroom and we felt at ease as they communicated and walked us through every step of the way. The owner came over frequently to check on the project and make sure we were happy. Our bathroom turned out great and we get so many compliments. The quality of work was great and the prices are reasonable. We couldn't be more thankful that we chose them.

Harper Stone and Tile Flooring Contractor
Continuing from 12/07/17...The first time my husband and I met with Darren he was very helpful in educating us about the difference between rectified and unrectified wood plank tile.  Derren made it known he preferred to work with unrectified tile, but would still take on a job and complete quality work using rectified tile.  Derren did say he would charge 50 cents more per square foot if we chose rectified tile.  Derren provided us with vendors he uses for the tile and even suggested a tile he had previously installed.  After a couple of weeks of tile hunting we chose a Marazzi porcelain RECTIFIED tile.  I called Derren and told him we were okay with paying the extra cost for the rectified tile.  Derren assured us the Marazzi tile was a good quality tile and we would be happy with the results.

Well, the tile comes in, Derren goes to pick up the tile, but returns to our home saying the tile is defective.  Derren believes the tile is "bowed" and encourages us to choose new tile.  Derren again suggests the tile he previously installed for another customer.  We told Derren we would go look for new tile if the tile we selected was defective.  I ask Derren about the return and refund on the tile and if we will have any issues.  Derren advised he would speak with the vendor and call me.  I never heard from Derren, although I left him at least one message.  I would have thought this was a priority being the flooring in our home had already been removed and the amount of money we paid for the tile.  No call.

My husband and I go see the vendor and explain to a very helpful gal we needed to find out about returning the defective tile.  The vendor tells us there will be a restocking fee of $700-750.  I questioned the fee, as Derren said the tile was defective.  The gal immediately said, "it's not defective."  Long story short, the vendor had contacted the manufacturer's local representative who came out, looked at the tile and said the tile was better than specs.  The gal also said they have sold over 80,000sqft of the tile we selected and they have not had any returned!  I have a flashback to checking Derren's Registar of Contractor record (for Harper Stone and Tile) and realize this should have been my first light bulb moment and clue NOT to hire Derren!  His license had previously been expired or suspended for various reasons.  Anyway, my husband calls Derren from the vendor.  No answer.  Message left for Derren to call.

On our way home Derren calls.  He seems bewildered as to why the tile couldn't be returned without a restocking fee and offers to pay $400. Obviousy, he never attempted to call the vendor about the return or he would have already been aware of the fee or maybe he just thought we were stupid, would pay the fee and find another tile.   With that being said, we offered Derren an out and told him we would understand if he didn't want to do the job.  No hard feelings.  Well, Derren's response was that he needed the job. Or, was it he needed to pick up his saw that was still at our home? ( Light bulb moment number two)!!

The next day, Derren shows up late and meets with my husband.  My husband gives Derren a second opportunity to opt out of the job with no hard feelings and addresses our expectations of a quality installation, rectified tile or otherwise.  Derren advised he was still willing to complete the job.  (Mind you, Derren's tile saw had been set up in our garage for the past couple of days while the job was on hold).  Derren continues his work, throws float on the floor in our bedroom and does not smooth out the edges so there is an obvious lip when it drys.  Derren mentioned his grinder was broke.  Derren sits in the bedroom and purposely works vigorously on chipping the tile and then shows my husband how it chips.  Derren quietly walks outside, packs his saw and equipment.  My husband confronts Derren asking him if he was leaving.  Derren says yes.  I don't believe Derren had any intentions of completing the job.  I'm pretty sure he just wanted to get his saw back!!  Derren is told we wanted a refund for work not performed, a reasonable request. An agreement was made on the amount to be returned.  We received partial payment that night, but as previously stated in original review, we waited for the balance to be paid after Christmas because Derren said he did not have the money. (But yet, it was okay for us to have our home in shambles at Christmas time!  I wouldn't call us difficult people, would you?  Derren believes we are)!

So, this was the gist of it!  There were a couple of other shenanigans, but I was out of typing space, so had to shorten up the horrible experience!

In the end, no thanks to Derren (Harper Stone and Tile), but we did end up with beautiful floors and a quality installation!  Should anyone need an honest and reputable contractor who completes quality work, please feel free to message me!  Oh, and we saved money too!!
