I have had the pleasure of building a relationship with Ability over the last several years both personally, having utilized their services on my own home, and professionally, as having been able to work with them as a real estate photographer (and seen many of their projects first-hand). I can't give enough praise to Mike, Phil, Michael, and the entire crew, who work tirelessly to ensure that the job is done to the highest standards. I honestly believe that to fall back onto their exemplary professionalism, communication skills, and the personal relationships that they strive to maintain with each individual client. There is a reason they are highly-regarded in the community as a business and as individuals! I wouldn't recommend any other contractor... even in the rare chance they haven't been able to help me with a project, I give them a call and they always point me in the right direction to trustworthy help. If you're looking for a home contractor, you won't find a better one in Prescott!

Be very careful of this company! My husband and I just recently got gas piped for our stove top, in which we used TriStar Gas Company (amazing by the way). Needless to say, Tristar then referred us to Desert Valley Concepts to do patch work on where they needed to cut into the wall. My husband then set up the appointment, in which someone came out to do the work. The guy did not even speak English and when I asked him how much it would be, his reply was I don't know. The work to be done was a 4 foot X 6 inch long hole in our wall... A few days later, we received the invoice for $380.00! My husband wrote to the company, to get a reply back stating We are a general contractor so the company that did the repair is PH Drywall. When we do repairs we send them out and they bill us. We then add our standard mark up and bill the client. I did not personally see the size of the hole and the condition of the workspace so its hard for me to know how much work was involved. It's kind of hard to wrap your head around this.. But just as an FYI- do your research and do not take anyone's word that a Company will do the work for you, then later on your find out they are a general contractor! Let's just say, I will never use them EVER again!

My rental house was burned in a fire. The Other Brothers came out and restored it quickly. I was able to re-rent it and my new tenants are very happy with how it looks. I couldn't be more pleased.

We needed some interior drywall repair work done and also utilized Arise Construction to help us finish installing our laminate flooring in our master bedroom. THEY WERE FANTASTIC! Marcos and all of the gentlemen we worked with at Arise Construction were amazing. Communication was prompt and all phases of each portion of the job were completed in a timely manner at a fair price. We are very pleased with the service provided. We are looking forward to working with them again.

Requested a full remodel for our studio with Rene at Sunny View Drywall, recommended by a friend. We are very satisfied with the price, quality, and professional installation. Rene remodeled the studio in the timeframe that he promised. I will definitely be contacting Sunny View Drywall for any other services in the future!

His work is outstanding. Finds the problem and fixes it. Would recommend him to anyone needing some home repair. I would not use anyone else. He installed a new engineered wood floor in our home after removing outdated tile flooring. Excellent job and well done. He also replaced rotted facia boards. A great person to fix your homeowner problems.

I feel so lucky to have found Derek and his team three years ago. I was an out of state landlord struggling to do things myself with a crazy work schedule, and after an expensive and drawn out eviction, Derek came in and totally changed the experience. I know they're not doing as much property management anymore but he made it effortless for me, always having solutions in mind for any issues that came up.
Most recently he and his team did a big remodel on my condo to get it ready to go on the market. It's obvious he knows the market and its trends, and has solid connections with sub contractors and real estate agents who filled out the rest of the team. He was responsive, consistent, super knowledgeable, friendly, and a great leader. The sell of this condo will bring in a nice profit and Derek played a huge roll in it with the timing, strategizing, beautiful remodel, and assembling the team. He really knocked it out of the park the past few years. It's bittersweet to have everything wrapping up but I know he will continue to do great work for other people.

Needed an extension to our patio. Gusto had the best bid, and did a great job. Clay and his crew were friendly, professional, and punctual. I would definitely use them again in the future.

It's taken me two years to write this review. At first, I wasn't going to write anything but now after the latest fiasco, I feel the need to let people know buyer beware!
We hired Jered November 2017 to remodel our master bathroom; do a tub to full tile shower conversion, counter tops, reface cabinets, mirror, etc. that we wanted to start mid February, 2018. No problem Jered said, plenty of time. Contacted him December, 2017 to pick out the materials. We found out it was typical to get no response from Jered for days. Not a good business practice. Finally hear from him, he's moving and just too busy, and says again plenty of time to pick out materials; we can do it in early January. Contact Jered and again, days go by with no response. He finally responds at 9am on a Saturday that he is available at 11 that morning. We had to arrange our day so we could pick out the stuff to start the next month. He shows up, late and bring his son. I like children but this was not something you bring a small child and it was a total distraction.
Jared started out job mid-February and ASSURED me it would be done in 2 weeks. I know jobs go longer and since we both work, I made arrangements for someone to come to our home while the work was being done. Again, he told me 2 weeks. The job was not done in 2 weeks, wasn't even half completed in 2 weeks. We are not sure what his worker, Raphael did all day. We would come home and look at the shower and it didn't look like he did any work. Jered was MIA most of the time, had to get home to his wife, had no idea his worker didn't show up at the house until 11 most days to work because of a car situation, etc., excuse after excuse. We put more than half down to start the job, 2 weeks into the job, when it wasn't even half completed, I got a text at 4AM asking for more money! He had to pay more people; figured we better do it or our bathroom would never get finished.
Mid March is was completed on a Friday night. Jered once again had to leave because his wife needed him at home and said it would be finished that night (this was at 6:30pm). His worker, Raphael, told us some lame excuse about the grout being too wet and having to set so he could seal it (it was all in one sealing grout) he was done and wanted to go home, I would too at 8PM on a Friday night but he didn't get to the house until 11 that morning.
Texted Jered and was shocked to get a response the next morning. He had NO idea the job wasn't done and would send someone out to finish (no sign of Jered). Two guys showed up and were furious! they had no idea that the job was this unfinished and had to make a trip to Home Depot to get supplies and rent equipment. Think they were at the house around 6 hours and the job still not done right. We were tired and exhausted having to deal with Jered. No one cleaned up the remodeling mess, WE DID! Took us 3 hours to clean up the mess and NO word from Jered, took him a week to contact us. The shower floor still had issues and wish not we filed a complaint with the Registrar of Contractors. Jered finally came out, 3 weeks after completion with more workers to try and fix the floor. We were tired and just let it go. He did take some money off for our inconvenience but I would rather have had the shower I dreamed of.
Now, 2 years later, the rain head shower head is leaking and peeling, shouldn't be doing this after 2 years. Jered gave me no paperwork on it for any type of warranty; texted him, he said he would look and let me know. That was 10 days ago, not holding my breath! Sorry this is so long, the process of remodeling with Jered was a long and horrible experience.

A remodel is a very exciting time in a homeowner's life, new space, new rooms, etc., but for a very busy young family of five it can be a burden that no one wants to carry. My wife and I were very hesitant of contractors, because we had been scammed before on a previous job. Knipp Contracting and Jeff Cross relieved our stress and hesitation that comes with a remodel. The process started in August of 2020, Jeff walked us through every single step (there are many). He explained each detail when it came to the contracts, the plans, permits, etc. The process was a bit longer to break ground, due to COVID limitations, but it finally happened in February of 2021. After breaking ground, Jason Smith, project manager, came on board and continued the constant communication between Knipp's crew and my wife and me. There was never a time that I did not know the schedule for workers to be on property. When workers were on property, so was Jason! Jason went above and beyond as project manager by the end he knew the name of all of my children and had many conversations with them. Final walk through was in June of 2021. Jason Smith, Jeff Cross and Knipp Contracting, treated my family like family. Now we have additional space in our home that our busy young family can enjoy for years to come. Thanks, Knipp Contacting!

David Dickinson owns this business as well as Demo Done Right. I had my old kitchen torn out. Cabinets were replaced by C & F Cabinets (good company other than referring me to David Dickinson). He refused to fill in some of the holes in the wall caused during the demo. The patching of the ceiling drywall was not matched to my old pattern. Was told that if I painted it enough, the paint would cause it to smooth out (seriously?). He oversaw the countertops through another company. When the company told me they did not need a template to cut the countertops, and I insisted that they did, David told me they didn't, and now the countertop was not cut properly as we had discussed and looks unprofessional (~$4000 job). I'm still left with drywall spots all over the floor and walls. I was told it would wash up easily, so why didn't they wash it up? I accidentally found out that David charged me $65 each for 3 LED lights that I found at Home Depot for ~$8 each (a 7x markup). This makes me wonder how much he might have marked up other parts of the job. When confronted, he said I insulted his integrity and refunded me almost half of the LED costs. Would not recommend either of his companies.
