Austin Electric Service Electrician
Just had an awesome service experience with Austin Electric.  They were able to give me a quote over the phone and quickly get more on the schedule.  Billy came out and gave me an honest opinion about what work would be entailed in one of my projects so I could decide if it was worth the cost.  He also wrote down a detailed description of items that I needed so I could run to Home Depot and pick them up myself.  When Home Depot did not have exactly what he specified, he was able to rig together a solution that works beautifully and looks great as well.  Billy was incredibly fast and personable and I loved having him in our home.  The price was more than fair and had me questioning why I had waited so long to make some needed repairs.  Definitely an all around home run- responsive, quick, excellent service, great pricing and quality work.  What more could you ask for?  Would not hesitate to call them again.

Electrical Specialty Electrician
We started having some electricity issues in the kitchen and our oven and dishwasher did not have power.

We tried flipping the breaker without and luck.

Corwin was able to get it figured out quickly.

Goat Electric Electrician
I had a great experience through out my projects with Justin and his crew. Justin was always responsive, showed up when he said they would, and was open to any changes that I had. This was very refreshing as most contractors I've dealt with have not been responsive and just randomly show up. I highly recommend Justin and his crew to anyone needing electrical work. The crew did great work for me and were a pleasure to work with. I'll definitely use Goat Electric again when I need more electrical work.

GG Electric Electrician
GG Electric recently did some field work for us on an unusual project: fixing an electrical horse fence.  JP and Garrett came out and got muddy and dirty and got in there with the horses and fixed the fence in splendid time!!  This job was super-important to us as it's our horses' safety we're talking about and they were professional, extremely well-priced, and fast.  I highly recommend this company for unusual jobs and those more routine!

Colvin Electric Electrician
BEWARE!!!! PRICE GOUGING!!!
So I called Colvin electric to see if they could give me a ball park price for the job I wanted done. We had trenches dug and filled with the conduit in place. I needed two 30 amp plugs for our Airbnb trailers, so 90 feet of romex wire was needed, also a plug 30 feet from our house. It was also trenched, had the conduit and back filled. When I called they said they don't give rough estimates over the phone, but they can send out a technician to estimate. Ok that's fine! Send him out. He looked at the job, and emailed me an estimate. Then I got a invoice for $50 for the estimate. Here's my problem, they sent out they're guy and gave a BOGUS price gouging quote, I called 2 other electricians one said 1500 for the ENTIRE job but he was booked out for weeks. Then I called Josh at Pucek Power. He was a little more but could get the job done sooner. Hey my husband is in construction, I understand the different companies charge different prices. Colvin Electric's quote was TRIPLE of what Josh at Pucek power charged. Complete GARBAGE, after I called the other two companies I called Colvin electric and asked why they're quote is so much, two other companies are a third of they're price. I told them I don't understand because I looked up all the reviews and everyone said they're competitively priced. Not the case. Not only did they come out give an outrageous quote but then threaten to LEAN my property if I didn't pay the $50 estimate charge. I called them back and payed the $50. Attached I have they're estimates, and the transcription of Tonya saying they'd lean my property if I don't pay the $50. Also I have Josh's invoice attached. Needless to say we went with Josh at Pucek Power do the job.

Molitor Electric Electrician
I've had two jobs done by Molitor electric.

The first was that we were dividing a room into two offices, and wanted to run a new 20A circuit and put in some new boxes. Dan coordinated well with our contractor who was doing the wall. Even though Dan isn't a networking person, he was even willing to put in boxes and run Ethernet cables for me to finish up the ends. The project finished on time, under what I had budgeted, and work was superb.

The second job was done by Dan's helper. The recessed can fixtures in our kitchen were eating light bulbs. A couple years ago we paid another electrician nearly $1000 for a job that wasn't done right. Molitor Elec found a bunch of problems: bad wiring, wrong cans used. I hated to replace the cans because we'd just paid to do that a couple years back, and they were willing to work with me on some cheaper alternatives. In end, though, I decided to do it right and replace the whole blasted thing. Once again, the project was on time, under budget, and work was superb. It cost me less to have Molitor Elec. do it right with good quality components, than the other guy to do it wrong with crappy equipment.

Silver Electric and Solar Electrician
Silver Electric and Solar did a great job removing/reinstalling my solar panels so that I could have the roof replaced. They got them taken down the day before replacement, and they had them reinstalled 2 days after the roof was complete. Friendly and patient while I worked things out with insurance/my HOA. Highly recommend!

Veteran Electric Electrician
I reached out to have a doorbell installed in my 30+ year home that for whatever reason never had a doorbell. Veteran came out and viewed the property to get me a quote and about a week later I had Doc working on it. Not only was the job done right, quickly, and on time, but Doc ended up completing the project under budget. I feel like I got a deal that was more than fair. Their communication and scheduling was quick and easy. No complaints. I would definitely reach out again for any other electrical needs.

Bryant AC & Electric Electrician
I initially called another electrical contractor but they couldn't start on the job for a month (our property had NO electric at all working!) - i researched a bit and found Bryant -- their estimate was a bit lower than the other company and they could start immediately!... Amazing communication from both the office and the electrician himself... we are VERY satisfied!!  The quality of the work is exceptional.

Hunter Service Group Electrician
Provided feedback and owner responded and essentially dismissed everything I had to say. Here is his message along with my response:

Owner:
I was made aware that you took issue with work that we recently performed for you.  It is my understanding that you took issue with the following:

-The motion sensor that was installed for your bedroom lights was meant to be installed for your bathroom lights
-The Nest security camera that we installed for you resulted in a bush in your back yard sustaining some minor damage.

I have spoken with the technician who did the installation and my estimator that priced this work for you.   I have also reviewed the invoice.  The invoice clearly states that the motion sensor was to be installed in your bedroom and you signed for the completed work. This would indicate that you were satisfied with the installation and the location / function of the motion sensor. Furthermore, the technician says that he advised you not to install the motion sensor in your bedroom.  If you would like us to move the motion sensor to another location, that can be done, but at an additional cost.

After speaking with both my estimator and installing technician, we will not compensate you for damage to a bush.  Your vegetation in the backyard is overgrown and both of my employees advised you that there may be some minor damage to the vegetation because of where you wanted us to mount the cameras.  You indicated that would not be a problem and asked us to proceed.  Again, your signature on the invoice and payment would indicate that you were satisfied with the work performed.

My response to above message:
I was NOT informed that there would be damage to my plants (see pics below) and was only informed after-the-fact, once I approached installer in the backyard during installation.

As for the bedroom light, also not correct. I directed the installer to install motion detector device in bathroom. He informed that he couldn't. At that point is when I directed to install in bedroom.

You're right, the signature represents my sign off on work performed. However, it doesn't always characterize the context of the situation. If you choose not to redress, that's fine - I'll simply share my perspective /experience in the appropriate area.

To be clear, the installer was very courteous and professional. However, soft skills doesn't always align with technical competence.

Not a five star service.

Matt's Electrical Work Electrician
I will not use them again. While his crew did complete the job, they were slow.  It took them 8 hours to complete about 6 hours of work. Matt tried to charge me for a 3rd man because he had to go get some basic supplies that any electrician should have on their truck   Ultimately he overcharged me for an hour. He told me that my brand new home wasnt to code. I work for the builder and know thats inaccurate. The whole exchange felt dishonest.

Blanco AC, Electrical, & Plumbing Electrician
We're in the LONG process of getting the proper approvals and permits for a home backup generator. Steve, Terry, Chuck and Michael have done a FANTASTIC job of patiently working through all that was/is necessary to prepare for the generator delivery. That included proper sizing of the generator to be installed. For those planning on getting a generator, determining the proper size generator is critical. Everyone I have worked with at Blanco has been TOP NOTCH. They're exactly the 100% customer oriented group of guys that any customer could hope for. Unfortunately, far too many companies selling generators fall far short of Blanco's standards. And, they will not take the time to select a generator that is adequate for your needs. The right home backup generator will very likely not be cheap. But, wouldn't you want that selection to be the right one for you and your family? Go with Blanco & you will not regret the decision.
