Best Interior Painting in Chicago IL

What seemed like it might be a pricey job (a broken water pipe inside a bathroom wall) turned out to be a more minor one (pipe disconnected, not broken), which Demond found and fixed inside an hour. His drywall patch afterward came out nice too. Process was streamlined because Handico could do both parts of the job (some plumbers said I'd have to hire someone separate to fix the drywall). Nice to have a one-stop shop located in my neighborhood. I've since contacted them about another potential job that they responded to quickly.

Although I did not have the actual work done, I felt I should at least mention that the estimate I received for painting a wrought iron fence, parkway fence, and gate, and staining a small wooden staircase (six steps) was so far out the ballpark that I was shocked.  It struck me that well over a thousand dollars for the work to be done was just excessive on its face.   My reaction was borne out:  I contacted a painter being used by a nearby townhouse association to do similar exterior work and the estimate was fully HALF of what Master Handymen thought they could charge.  I fear they may set prices based on the neighborhood.  Just my opinion, but be forewarned and do shop around.

They kept things very clean inside and out. They were on time and treated me like I was the only job they was working on that week, which could be a problem with other contractors. Phillip is very knowledgeable about many different types of construction projects and look at the details of what is needed. These people work as a team!!!
