Francisco sent his crew back to retest the system, found out that the micro inverters were the issue. Since they are still under warranty  the manufacturer will replace all 24 micro inverters for me. It will take 2-4 weeks for them to ship. But for now I have 3 new inverters working that Francisco was kind enough to let me use it while waiting for the replacement.

Mike and his team installed all of the lighting during the remodel of our kitchen and dinning room.  Mike made some great suggestions on the lighting fixtures for the kitchen and supplied these as part of the job.

The team worked very well together and the lead technician was very fistulous about his work and its accuracy.  The job site was kept clean during when the work was in process and left the job site clean.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Bill Henry's Electricians did a great job. His electricians had a long list of tasks. They worked efficiently, got the job done exactly as we had hoped, even installed electric outlets in our 90-year old build-in bookcases in a creative and well-hidden way, as we asked. They were courteous and unobtrusive as they worked all day in our home. I recommend them without reservation. (Oh yes, and his prices are very reasonable.)

ML Solar did a great job on my solar project.  I trust them 100% to give me straight, honest information about what I need, regardless of price.  They told me the pros and cons of each product and in one case, said a less expensive option might be my best option.  Their prices are fantastic as well...the best in town.  And their customer service is great.  When I changed the project in the middle, they patiently accommodated my needs and focussed on making me and my family happy.
