Jake was great. He came to look at a couple of problem faucets. Fix one and replaced the other.  Gave me options and recommendations. He went and bought new faucet and then installed it. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Why did I ever go anywhere else? Thank goodness I checked my phone for former handy people and found this company again. Roberto did a number of things around the house, from simple repairs to the more complicated. He was very professional, friendly and kind, and finished everything quicker than I'd imagined. This company saved me money by repairing a leaky faucet during the initial walk (of items on my to-do list) through AT NO CHARGE...and did it in about 1 minute! In the past I had 3 plumbers who told me faucet was too fancy and not worth repairing the leak, even if they could do it. Ha!

I just spoke with General SF and even though they haven't done any work for me, I will definitely hire them in the future. I called to ask about my complicated shower pan situation. All other contractors made it sound like such a huge deal and quoted me huge numbers for the job but General SF advised me to follow a route that is the most  cost effective for me that is completely doable. I knew it wasn't that complicated and that I've been dealing with a few divas. Here's an honest contractor, this is how you get people to trust your business.

We had a small leak in the shower stall of one of our bathrooms due to old silicone sealant grout needing to be stripped and replaced. I looked at the problem and decided that it was a bit above my skill level to do a good job of thoroughly stripping away the old grout in order replace it with new grout. Got in touch with Dave with some pictures of the stall and he quickly got back to me with an estimate. He and his worker were at the house the next morning and did a great job in replacing the old grout with nice, new grout, and also pointed out some unnoticed issues with the previous water leakage.
   Dave did a great job for me with quality work.

Badr replaced the old faucet in my kitchen with a new one. He ran into a few snags during the installation (specifically, it was hard to remove the existing faucet) but he patiently worked through it for over an hour, and even went back to his place to get a special saw to completely get rid of it.
He was communicative throughout the installation process and did a very high-quality job.
Would love to hire him for any other job in the future.

Needed some work done and Ben gave us a fast and very reasonable estimate on the work. He was responsive and very accommodating with scheduling... which was a pretty quick turnaround to get the job done. When he arrived, he was super courteous, polite, and knowledgeable - not just knowledgeable about what we hired him for (mounting several things around the house) but also lots of other things. He was also well-prepared with all the tools, screws, anchors, etc that might be needed. We will not hesitate to hire Ben again in the future.

A/C broke during horrible heat wave, on the day of a big party during Labor Day Weekend. Called in the morning, they had someone to the house that afternoon. Unfortunately, needed a part; but Darryl made sure we had it ordered asap and moved his schedule around to be at our home immediately after the holiday weekend. Service was friendly and efficient. They went out of their way during a heat wave. I'm incredibly appreciative and would recommend them to anyone.

I hired Ted to assemble a large and complicated office desk. Ted was wonderful to work with!  He patiently worked through assembly instructions that were unclear and unhelpful, but Ted managed to assemble the desk beautifully in spite of the poor instructions.  His rates were incredibly reasonable and he was efficient, responsive, and professional. I would hire him again in the future for home or office needs.  Thank you, Ted!

Over the last 3 years I've renovated a triplex in SF, and we've hired Andrei from AVS for several different jobs now. He's done everything from hanging lights to a total rewiring for a floor we gutted and completely renovated. Andrei has always been timely and professional.  He doesn't talk your ear off, but he's good at giving advice when we needed to make decisions about how the lighting should be laid out, etc. He has come in on the weekends and worked late to get something done, and any time we've called him for warranty work he has shown up immediately and without any hassle.  Standing by your work after it's done and paid for is one of the signs of true craftsmanship, if you ask me.  I've passed all of my electrical inspections without issues, and a even few compliments, and we will definitely hire him again when we need an electrician!

Chad H. was awesome! He got the job done professionally and was polite and considerate!  I am very pleased and highly recommend Chad and this company!

We have used Divine Electric for the past few years but this year Joseph, our electrician, really went above and beyond.  He resolved not only the three issues that we called for service on, he quickly and efficiently fixed a few things that have been nagging us for years which we didn't even know could be fixed.  
He was on time, professional, communicated clearly, and got the work done in no time.  Big thumbs up.
