Scott from Reyff Electric came to my house to provide a bid on fixing an electrical issue that had stumped a number of of other electricians. He quickly assessed the problem and even provided me a temporary solution. He was courteous and took the time to explain the situation. He seems to be passionate about what he does.

We were very happy with Valary Gore's and his team. We had a few odd electrical jobs to get done in our newly purchased old house in Berkeley. Valary met with me to review our scope: Change out a few outlets to GFCI, update a dryer outlet, troubleshoot an exterior light fixture that was waterlogged, and add power outlets in our basement to existing switches. I wasn't sure if our project was too small for him, but he never made me feel that way. He was up front about a time-and-materials fee when I asked and this makes sense to me, especially on old houses. Andrew, his journeyman, did the work and asked very good questions ahead of time. He even went to Home Depot and bought us new cover plates and an exterior flood light to install that day. They did all the work in about 3 hrs. I think they did a great job and their price was right for professional electrical work. Safe and professional electrical work is key!

Cham asked I come to their studio (pre covid). Then we wasted another hour of my life doing a walk through of my house. Then didn't return my calls when I asked for a quote and to move forward. No explanation why, just didn't return any calls. I suspect my $30k project was too small during this hot period of home construction but give me a break - don't waste my time and then disappear. I found a home automation company in the east bay, feel free to message me for the name.

Our bathroom outlet caught on fire, and Alex really helped us out by coming on a Sunday to help us replace it. He was the only electrician who was willing to come on the weekend. Most other companies couldn't come until Monday or Tuesday, which would mean the bathroom, and my son's bedroom (shared power) would have no power for that whole time. He was quick, professional and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him!!

We have a partial power outage in our house. Alex came within 30 minutes, and correctly diagnosed the problem. He also came in and installed a part on our roof needed to hold the wires securely. The service was prompt, the prive was reasonable, and communications were clear. Great service and I would recommend Alex to others.

My new apartment came wired for ethernet, but after moving in we learned that the wiring was unfinished, and the caps were unusably outdated. Julian was incredibly helpful in identifying what the state of the wiring was, what needed to be done to get it up in working order, and how best to configure everything for our home networking needs. I'm writing this over a hardline after months of spotty wifi, and I have The Electric Handyman to thank for it!

No silicone sealant was used on the outside where he drilled holes in the wall. This can cause water to leaks into the wall when it rains. How much time or money does that take? 10 cents and 30 seconds? The cable installed by my internet company used sealant, but not this guy. And I just noticed after 2.5 years. Also, I feel he padded the amount of time needed to do the job and therefore padded the bill. I saw him idle during some of the time. I should have questioned it at the time.
