It is beyond me why a business would advertise being available 24/7 then answer the telephone as if you're inconveniencing them! I called a few minutes ago because I clearly have an emergency if I'm reaching out after midnight, the man that answers the phone asked if this is an emergency? I offered to explain but before I wasted anymore of his time, (since he felt the need to inform me that it was almost 1am) I asked did he service Staten Island and he said no, very hastily. Nothing more undesirable than poor customer service. I suggest you post business hours that are more suitable to you. I work a 24 hour job and I assure you, we provide the same experience at all hours!

New York City Electricians is the real deal.  I got an estimate from the building manager to replace some bulbs and ballasts in my office.  The guy told me to order the ballasts and the bulbs. Although the management co. wanted over $1,000, he was going to hook me up ;) (that's an actual picture of him giving me the wink-wink).  He would put them in for $750.  I found the ballasts on Home Depot's website, $20.  The bulbs were $15.  I ordered the bulbs, but before I ordered the ballasts I called NYC Electricians, just to get an estimate.  The guy said he would come by the next day. He told me he'd do the whole job for $450, parts included!  He left and came back in an hour and did the job. Done and Done!  I would use them again in a heartbeat.  I took a shot and used a guy off the internet and it worked! Give them a call so your super doesn't spin you!  Now the only 2 things left for me to do is to tape the receipt on my building manager's door and find him a small, talking, plush animal that says suck it when you pull a string! Needed an electrician last minute for a neon chandelier install for one of our clients because our initial electrician backed out last minute. Usually when we mention high voltage or neon most electricians would back away but after talking to Avi over the phone about the process and materials we would need he hopped on the job! He efficiently provided the electrical work we needed to complete our job and he was truly a life saver! we couldn't have asked for a better person to do the job! I totally recommend Avi if you're in need of any electrical work! (especially neon)

He came provide a good estimate started right away finished less than hour.  I had my range hood replaced and also these new hood needed a three prong outlet.  He removed and replaced my range hood.  Added the new outlet instead of the old range hood connection.   He also cleaned up after he was done.

Jason and Stephen were a pleasure to work with. They arranged an appointment shortly after my call, arrived when promised, and proceeded to fix several electrical problems. They fully explained the pros and cons of several choices about types of lighting for a vanity area and landscape lighting. They really know what they are doing! They finished 3 separate tasks quickly, and, best of all, did not push us to do more than necessary. I recommend them very highly.

Greg is 100% responsive and is definitely worth contacting for your electrical needs. I've done business with him twice so far and each time has been quick, efficient, and very fairly priced. Once for an EV charger install and another for a separate emergency low voltage issue with my home. Showed up within an 30 minutes of first contact and informed me of what the issues were and what should be done to correct the problems by the power company. Best service of any business I've dealt with through yelp by far. 100% recommend Power Plus.

He's a great guy.  Arrived early on very very short notice.  Was very helpful and quick with his work and was kind enough to help out and provide advice to me.

I sold my house to an FHA buyer and as expected, the inspector flagged a few things with the electrical system in our house.  Of course, the buyer asked for the entire house to be rewired, but we were not willing to spend the $4000+ to do that, so we countered and told them we would address only the items the inspector actually flagged, which were: correct reverse polarity in 2 outlets; install dedicated line from panel to 2 kitchen counter outlets and properly ground the GFIs; install a dedicated line to the bathroom and install GFI; install a dedicated line to the laundry room and install a GFI; and install a ground wire from the panel to the water meter.  Jim came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate to do all this work and once we made the decision to go with him, we scheduled the work to be completed a couple weeks later.  Two gentlemen came out to do the work and they were very nice, polite, and respectful.  I am always worried about being disrespected or taken advantage of as a woman in these situations, but they were both great.  When their work was finished, I asked them if I could use their outlet tester to take pictures of the grounded outlets and the corrected outlets to send to my realtor - she would be sending these on to the buyer's agent to show that the work had been completed.  During this last round, we discovered that one of the kitchen outlets did not have the same test result as the other, which led me to believe it might not be properly grounded.  I won't pretend to understand electrical work or terminology, but he tried to explain it to me - why it was fine the way it was, and would pass inspection - but I told him it would just make me feel better if the tester lit up the same way on this second kitchen outlet as it did on the first.  And he happily complied.  Without an attitude or irritation or anything.  So thank you so much for that!  It only took him an extra 10-15 minutes and at that point I was 100% satisfied with the work!  All said and done, this came out to less than $900, and I'm very pleased with the experience.  Jim was great to work with and so were his two men!

We've used Frank Mineo Electrical on two different occasions now, for fairly mundane residential electrical projects - adding/moving outlets, repairing switches, etc. Both times they were prompt, polite, and did great work. The most recent time they were 30% less than a competitive quote, and I felt they went beyond what they were asked to do. I really don't see any reason to call anyone else for any future electrical work I might need.

We had several lighting projects to accomplish in our house - moving power outlets, adding recess lighting, redoing light switch wiring, and hanging fixtures (center hall chandelier and bedroom). Jay was quick to come for an estimate and got us on the schedule quickly. Invoice estimates were sent out before the work was performed. The team was very timely, communicated well with us about what we wanted and any issues, and accomplished a lot very quickly.

We had a 11.30pm emergency where we lost all power. Erick came out in 45 min and got us back and running. He was honest and kept us calm. He sourced a hard to find part the next day and installed the part within 30min. We couldn't thank him more and will now use him for all our electrical needs. Would recommend to anyone! Luis has done a great job for us on multiple occasions. He installed a three-way switch for our basement lights, re-wired all our outlets to ground them, installed the plugs for our washer and dryer, amongst other things and has done a great job each time. We've had his work checked for inspection and passed. He always sends itemized cost estimates for each job I've asked him to do and doesn't try to nickle and dime you. He is a very straightforward guy and working with him has been a very pleasant & stress-free experience. I highly recommend him!
