Rapalo Handyman Services Electrician
I contacted several electricians, but Jose contacted me and came by the next day. He was fast and efficient. Thanks Jose!

Avery Handyman Project Electrician
Hired Lewis through a referral from Home Depot to assemble a patio dining set.  He is a real craftsman, professional, courteous, really skilled at his work.  Did a superb job in a little over an hour, would have taken me several.  Meticulously cleaned up and placed the chairs for me after assembly.

Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing Electrician
I had the bad luck of having my A/C go out during the July 4 holiday weekend.  I called 6 repair shops and Efficient was the only one who responded to my request.  Scheduling was quick and efficient and the technician (Ross) had the expertise to diagnose my issue and complete the repairs quickly and efficiently.  Charges were clearly explained to me over the phone and in person.  I highly recommend them for A/C repairs or installation.

I am very disappointed with the plumbing done by 1st Plumbing Services. We had them over to fix a cracked pipe, and showed them the area in our front lawn where there was a lot of water and we assumed the crack was at. It was easily accessible about a yard from the sidewalk. The water was running over the sidewalk. They told us it would be $475 just for them to find the crack. Seeing that we thought it was kind of easy to locate I thought this was a large amount but told them to go ahead because I just wanted it done.

However, I came out awhile later after they had done some digging and they had told my husband that they were almost sure that the leak was coming from beside the house and that they needed to tear up my redwood mulch and bushes landscaping. Obviously I wasn't excited about this option but went ahead and agreed since they were so sure that was where the leak was and we needed it fixed. After hours of digging, and butchering my landscaping, and the dirt they were digging up wasn't even soaking wet like the original location we showed them. They decided it wasn't there.

3 or 4 hours later they go back to the original location we showed them, easily accessible by the sidewalk, and find the crack in the pipe is there. Now my lawn looks horrible, and they replanted the bush they dug up but it doesn't look like it has enough roots to survive. They didn't offer us any discount for the fact that it looks like a natural disaster went through our lawn. I would never use this company again. We paid $686 for them to destroy our lawn in 5 hours, for a job that an experienced plumber could have done in 1 hour. I will say they did try their best to fix the messes that they made, but unfortunately we will have to do some work.

SALT Plumbing Air & Electric Electrician
Writing this after getting a spam call from them. I used them to work on a few things in my home last year and each time they pushed to do more work. Obviously their owner isn't happy with just being expensive and doing honest work. Instead they offer to do additional work, for example they offered to change or added LED based canned lights. The price?  Only $500 to do so for 4 canned lights to be replaced with LED lights and maybe even I could have an additional 2 installed if I had a place I needed (literally making up work).
I went online and found that the LED replacement lights for canned lights run about $15 each and I replaced them myself in about 2-3 minutes each. So $60 worth of equipment and 15 minutes of time and I did the work myself. It was trivial and they wanted $500 for this?
Find an honest shop that won't try to screw you, SALT is definitely not the place unless you want to pay exorbitant prices.

Jon Wayne Heating & Air Conditioning Electrician
After taking PTO so I would be home for my 12-5pm appointment, I got a call at almost 8pm letting me know that the technician would not be able to come out because they were too busy with other customers. But I was welcome to pick another weekday for them to possibly come out again, maybe, if they found the time in their busy schedule for someone with a pre-paid 10-year service plan. My only suggestion would be, if you absolutely MUST use Jon Wayne, don't pre-pay for your service plan. They give preferential treatment to people who will pay them that day, rather than to those whose money they've already taken. I've had my a/c unit for two years now, and this is the second year in a row I've had an issue with my annual service appointment. Last year they gave a similar excuse, so it must be something they're trained to say. After waiting six weeks for this appointment, it's a tough pill to swallow that I've been sitting here waiting for 8 hours, only to have to wait a whole week longer. I cannot stress enough how poor their customer service is after they've already sold and installed their equipment. Need a new a/c, we'll be there in an hour, seven days a week! Need it serviced, we'll be there in 6-8 weeks, Monday-Friday, during YOUR work hours! That's the Jon Wayne Way!
