Efficient was the first (after MANY phone calls) to quickly respond to us and keep us posted about when they'd be at our house. I had a drain clog that I first tried to fix myself. In doing so, I managed to backflow a bunch of nasty water out two other drains that I wasn't having problems with before, so I decided to call in a pro. I called after hours twice, and got a call back the second time. They were willing to dispatch emergency service but I didn't feel strongly enough about my problem to pay the $200 after-hours charge. Instead, I called the next morning to set up a service call. I got a same-day appointment and the dispatcher said a tech would arrive between noon-2pm. At 1:30pm the dispatcher called back and said there was a guy on the way, and just a little before 2pm Dan pulled into my driveway. Dan was super nice and got my drain cleared out and flowing better than ever. He was in and out in an hour. I'll call again should I ever get in over my head.

Quoted $800 to replace a dryer receptacle.  The report indicated the problem was loose wiring.  I asked if the electrician had actually seen this and he said he had opened up the socket.  When the socket was later replaced, the paint seal from the decorator had not been broken and the report about the wiring being 'backstabbed' was incorrect, proving the electrician had not even looked at the faulty socket and had also lied to me.

They quoted $8,000 in other non-essential work as part of their 'inspection'.

Jon Wayne replaced my gas hot water heater and also sold me a water softener both with a long annual service agreement.  I was told that both were the top of the line and there were none better on the market.  Installation was done in a day with no noted problems.
Water softener stopped working after about 7 months but was repaired by service call.  No problems.
I now find both the hot water heater and the water softener are over the counter types with a Jon Wayne sticker and a much, much higher price tag.  In short I was over charged.
This overcharge is my fault I should have done my homework.  Bottom line is if you do business with Jon Wayne you will be overcharged.
