I was able to get an estimate very quickly, and had an appointment scheduled within a couple of days. Technician was professional, showed up on time, and cleaned up prior to leaving. The work was completed exactly as quoted and matched existing home layout, you could not tell what was original work and what was added. Parts used were quality and price was fair.

Recently had a problem with lights flickering in my house. Decided to call an electrician that advertises on TV all the time. They also service AC & Plumbing so I thought good deal. I'll have one company that does AC, Plumbing and Electrical work. A Repairman came out and although he was very courteous he was not able to fix the problem, he had to call his boss many times, he was at a loss. After 3 hours of frustration he gave up, and said next step is to rewire breaker box and maybe the rooms that were being effected. He said he was leaving & told me the bill would be $300.00 Problem not fixed! I said I am not paying him, call your boss, I want to talk to him which he would not talk to me. He adjusted the bill to $125.00. Service man left with lights still flickering. Next I called T&M Electric and talked to Kimberly. She set up an appointment the next morning at 7:30am. Three men showed up at 7:10am and went to work diagnosing and repairing the problem. NO NEW BOX OR REWIRING AS PER OTHER REPAIRMAN, The workers were fast and very knowledgeable.... ABSOLUTELY WOULD RECOMMEND T&M ELECTRIC. By the way the trouble was a bad breaker.

I wanted to give them a good review, but I can't. We had several things done. I think they did a good job adding a new outlet and wiring our bathroom fan. We also had them install a few ceiling fans. They didn't follow instructions and they left a mess. When I reached out to get it corrected, the owner argued with me that they didn't make a mistake. When I finally convinced him, he begrudgingly sent them back out. After they left the second time, something still wasn't right. I reached out and he wanted nothing more to do with me...so I fixed it myself. They are definitely less expensive so maybe worth taking a chance on something simple. But...beware.

I was able to get a descent quote from the company, but they were never able to commit to a date of service. Several of my calls were returned days after they said they would get back to me. Ended up going with a different local electrician.

Not helpful or nice people.   I requested an estimate and he responded that they are to busy.  Then, I stated that I only needed an estimate and could provide pictures and measurements.  We all know that when we are looking for competent people to hire, you look for a few different estimates.  Unfortunately, this is the first negative experience I've had in this area.  I hope it is the last.  Very RUDE.

Do not use this company.  THEY decide when they want to do the work,  not the person hiring them to do the work. They will only work if paid in full up front.  No guarantees of when they will start.  I had to fire then after nothing was done on my electrical work for six months.  Not a friendly or cooperative business.  YOU HAVE BEEN NOTICED!

I would highly recommend using this company. Was having electrical problems at my townhome and didn't know who to call that would be reasonable and done in a timely manner. They came right out and fixed us back up! Definitely call American Electric!

Second time I used them, I had a fan that was 9 months old moved from one room to the other. Called them after a guest stayed with me and informed them it was constantly making noise and could they check it out as a warranty request. They said yes. I scheduled the appointment Two weeks in advance. I then called the morning of and confirmed again. I then proceeded to take the afternoon off work to wait for them. Around 4 o'clock I called them to find out where they were and at that time they informed me that they didn't feel like coming out here and that I should just buy a new fan to pay to have them install again because they claim that the technician told me the fan was making noise. The technician pointed out that the fan has some noise upon start up and I told him that was normal but I didn't run the fan for any amount of time until I had a guest stay will me. The man I spoke to was just so bothered by having to deal with me. He told me they'd be around at some point when they came back through. 3 weeks have passed and I've heard nothing. I will never use them again if that is how they treat their customers. Unreal.
