HISTORY
Established in 2010.
23 Years Electrical Experience. During this time he has established his knowledge of the electrical trade through work in the field as well as experience as a human resource officer, a safety coordinator and a project manager. The combination of these experiences lead to the creation of E.F. Thomas & Sons Electrical Contractor, LLC . Each project presents different challenges, E.F. Thomas & Sons enjoys trouble shooting and working alongside others to accomplish the final goal. Chip is also very proud of the work he is doing to train up the next generation of electricians as an instructor at the IEC of Atlanta.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
23 Years personal experience. I take the time to understand the nuances of a job and listens to what his customers want. I have constantly pushed myself to express my skills and abilities by producing an immaculate and efficient finished product. I continue to grow and learn new systems and advancements to challenge myself for new projects in the future. I believe in the education of all those in this industry and take my time to teach classes at night at a technical school for apprenticing electricians.

I had a number of small electrical issues Chip came in and fixed easily and quickly. He was a gentleman and professional. Great guy!
I had a broken toggle switch, patio fan light not working, recessed can acting wonky (blinking) and a couple other things. Fixed 'em all! I highly recommend.

Chip Thomas of EF Thomas and Sons was our top choice after reviewing a total of 3 electricians who came out to our house and gave us a cost estimate. Chip was the only one who actually gave us a bid not an estimate and he completed the job on budget. Throughout his interactions with us he was very helpful informing us of options. He made it clear his goal was for us to be happy with the end results and we were. His lighting upgrade to our 2006 built house made it seem new with recessed lighting, all LED lights and changing out many old fixtures for modern. His team never left a mess and they got the job done in the time Chip had projected.
Later we thought of some other a few additional upgrades we wanted and Chip was just as helpful, on time and on budget even though this was a much smaller piece of work for him. We would recommend him without reservation.
Great company. My new electricians. These guys made time to fit us into the schedule when we had a miswiring mishap during some DIY work. They were on time, courteous and able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. Even though they were squeezing us into the schedule on a Friday, Chip and Jake were not at all rushed. They made time to explain the fix and helped us to determine some next steps in our DIY plan.
