Best Renovation Consultation in Phoenix AZ

A few months back, my wife and I had a dream of building a barn door to close off the entrance to our drafty master bathroom.  I discovered that we homeowners have a huge choice of handyman/contractors, but when the dust settles, there are only a hand full of pros as good as Elvis M., owner of Dream Builder Renovation LLC.  One of Elvis's outstanding qualities, is his honesty and never ending effort to give the project a perfect result, every time!  That's exactly what we ended up with, a beautiful, silky smooth operating BD that gives us a thrill, every time we walk into our bedroom. Elvis and his helper worked late into the evening the night of installation, to insure that the date promised was the date that it happened, nothing less, promise kept!!  I highly recommend Dream Builder Renovation to do just about any project, large or small, that you can dream of, and in the end result, you won't be sorry!!

As before we had another great experience with 540. They did a great professional job on our living room remodel. They listen to you. Not like some contractors in this valley that basically force you into somthing you dont like or want when they are in the middle of the remodeling. From invoice to construction to punchlist, they are very stand up. We had a butcher block countertop installed on our cabinets. Beautiful work and blending. We used them on the exterior of our  house and they did an awesome job on it. There was a crazy amount of detail on the design and they nailed that as well. We will always recomend 540!

This has nothing to do with their work....I actually never hired them.  This review is based solely on the estimate that I got from them.

I got 3 estimates from 3 different companies for the same services.  The estimate from Husbands2Go covered labor ONLY and not materials.  Apparently, I was responsible for shopping and obtaining materials.  If they obtained materials, there was a charge of $150/hour shopping charge  plus, I was informed they add 20% upcharge above the cost of the materials and the shopping.  Husbands2Go's estimate was about 20% above industry average, but considering their estimate does not include materials, where as the other estimates were 20% lower and DID include materials, the estimate was actually higher than 20% above industry average.

I has also asked for a small fountain to be built, for which I had all the materials.  The basin, which was to be against an existing wall, measured 6' w x 16 h x 16 d; it wasn't big or complicated.  I was given a labor charge of $2,000.  

All of their labor costs, upcharges and shopping charges are prohibitive for me.

I read the reviews.  Many talked about their cost being reasonable but some of those reviews were from a year ago.  Maybe the times have changed their tune.

Bobby is absolutely fantastic to work with. From the second we met, you could see the level of passion and detail he had. He made remodeling painless and easy, wouldn't recommend using anyone else in Phoenix!

Dave and Mario recently completed a project for me, adding an exterior door to a room so I could have a home office.  They worked incredibly hard and completed it beautifully in a short time.  They are reliable and skilled.  Reliable, reliable, reliable!  Very important in an industry that is unfortunately not always to be depended upon.  I hired them on a recommendation from a family member who used their services a couple years ago and was very satisfied.  I would easily recommend them and would use them again.  Good job guys!

Setup a quote through Yelp and received a quick message back and setup a time. Received a courtesy call from Dustin letting me know he was on his way, and he was right on time. He was very thorough in inspecting the pool and explaining the various packages that Reliable Pool Care offered. I was impressed with offerings, both in level of detail, non-pressure sales techniques, and fair pricing. I signed up and he started on the spot, sent over an agreement that day and signed it all online and setup automatic payments. Couldn't be easier and I highly recommend Reliable Pool Care for someone looking for reliable, no-hassle, affordable pool care service.

This is a handyman service that was well worth my time. I am too busy with work obligations for the honey do list. Doug helped us with a broken spa cover that was damaged in a storm. After his repair, it works better than before the weather related incident. We look forward to using him again.

I've used a contractor once and it was a complete nightmare. I was terrified that I would have similar issues with Dream Builder Renovation and I'm very pleased to announce that they exceeded my expectations.  The price was very fair for the work I needed completed. Also, the work was completed within the time frame I was originally quoted. Maisa is awesome. She would text me throughout the day letting me know when Elvis would be arriving, what items were completed, what will be completed next and when, along with pics so I could see the progress for myself. I also liked how the work was able to completed without me  being present.
I never had butcher block counter tops before , I only had laminate. I love how Elvis brought to my attention that my butcher blocks were not sealed and he recommended that they be sealed. When I purchased my home, the tile job in my master bath was not very good (if I'm being tact). Elvis cut the tile properly; removed old caulk and applied new caulk. Now my tub looks perfect. I wanted sliding closet doors installed. Elvis picked out perfect doors and installed them. He knew exactly what I wanted which saved me a lot of time from having to get it myself. The original tile in my son's bathtub was also crooked and the tub needed to be resurfaced. Elvis took care of that as well for me. I'm very happy with the work and I look forward to calling Elvis again for future projects.

As soon as I met Bobby I knew I wanted to hire him. He was professional, knowledgeable, and carefully reviewed and discussed the details of my project. I had just purchased a house and needed work done prior to moving in, so my timeline was tight, 2 - 3 weeks. I had new flooring put in, new interior paint, recessed lighting, new light fixtures and hardware installed. Bobby got it done quickly and efficiently and maintained excellent communication throughout the process. I was amazed at how hands off the process was. Bobby ordered the materials I had selected, and also helped me pick out some other items. He has great taste and a good eye for what will work best. Don't let the small number of reviews stop you from working with Atelier507. I was hesitant at first because when we started the process they were new to Yelp and did not have any reviews. Now I am so impressed with Bobby and his team I would recommend him to everyone and use him again on future projects.

Wow! I don't know where to begin, because our experience was exceptional.

My husband and I have been wanting to do a renovation on our kitchen for some time now. Casually, I submitted a project via Yelp to multiple contractors to shop around. After a swift response from Rosa, we set up an in-home consultation. Rosa and Erica brought samples based upon our initial conversation and were spot on with the look I was wanting. Their energy and general vibe sold us. Professional, friendly and genuine. Some days later, we signed a contract and the project began shortly thereafter.

Being in the midst of a global pandemic, I was worried with how many people would be in and out of our home. Everyone wore masks, respected social distancing, and staggered scheduling to keep down how many workers were in our home at any given time.

Both Rosa and Erica were super communicative throughout the entire process. Also, every single person on their team was so darn friendly and meticulous with their attention to detail. It truly was seamless and we are ecstatic. I think I may sleep in my kitchen tonight because I love it that much.

Asked for an estimate for a guest bathroom. They were kind and efficient when they came over answered all our questions andsaid they would send us an estimate by the end of the week. Two weeks later I reached out, they said they were behind on their estimates. Never heard from them again. It was a shame we loved their ideas, their dynamic and their suggestions.

Two disabled people living in Carefree, AZ area used this company to add a bedroom in a garage area for a nanny to help them with their small children.  The original contract (dated 10-25-17) was fine, any changes made Verde astronomically over charged them.  Her husband passed away January 2018 who was handling the job and his wife was totally lost being disabled herself.  She was a good friend from high school she asked me to help her. As I reviewed this additional contract she was being charged for items she didn't receive and Ken Verde (owner) of Verde General Contracting refuses to credit her for soffit lighting of (4 can-lights for $3500) they didn't install reason being is all the a/c duct work had to run through them and they couldn't put them in. Ken Verde still feels they are owed the money.  There were changes made that Verde never had change orders for but it was very evident these were done and she had no problem paying for those.  Verde General Contracting has sent threatening lien letters to her when she only owes $4836.00.  My lord if the poor woman isn't devastated enough from the loss of her husband in January then a few months later she lost her mother.  We tried the Registrar of Contractors they wouldn't help her at all so here she sits with an unfinished bedroom for her nanny that could be helping her right now. A list of items not done properly: a can-light  installed in ceiling  instead a light fixture over the bathrm sink, drywall unfinished, paint unfinished, exterior doors installed with no seals on them, moved plumbing made a mess of the concrete while doing so, this list just goes on.  She has two young children and Verde General will not contact her to complete this job for her. She's exhausted just trying to keep up with the kids all by herself now, thanks to Verde General Contracting..

I paid David Roberts $9000 for a home project in Kingman that he has done little work on that was to be completed in June 2021. I understand that he has personal issues that have complicated his life, however, he is a businessman and needs to complete his contract with me. I will replace this adverse review with a positive recommendation upon completion of the project. David did call me today assuring me that he would get back on the job. Let's get it done, David. Until then I could not recommend doing business with you.
