I had the very best plumber experience I have ever had!
There was a smell under my kitchen sink and a leak that prompted me to call a handyman. I spoke to a handyman that told me he thought I needed a plumber and was kind enough to text me his plumber's number. I called and was told they could send someone out the next day, which was a Saturday. That alone impressed me.
Matt Mattox came over the next day( I was also sent a text message with a picture so I knew who was coming, again a huge plus)! Matt was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He knew immediately what the problem was, my garbage disposal was leaking and needed to be replaced(it was going on 20 years) Matt asked me if I wanted him to replace it or I can go buy one but he did have one in his truck. I opted to have him replace it. I also have an RO machine with about 8 filters that needed the filters replaced and he said he would try to do that as well even though they normally did not do that.
Matt was quick, extremely clean and even asked me when he was finished if I wanted him to put my things back under the sink. He stayed to make sure there were no leaks and to double check his work. He took all the garbage with him!
Matt told me all about a program they have that discounts all materials and labor and gives you two free inspections a year. If I purchased that program, with the discounts on the two things I had done that day and the discount on the garbage disposal, my final bill would actually be less! Of course I went for it.
I have never been so impressed with a company and with Matt Mattox.

I have a new born baby and my AC unit stopped working. I called around to different companys to find one that can come fix my AC and Goettl took very great care of me. They worked with my financial struggles and was able to fix my unit the same day. I felt so relieved, I also signed up on their maintenance plan and now I know that I'll get priority service. I'm adding this now because it just happened and it's fresh in my mind. The technicians who work for Parker and Sons seem like good, honest guys and they are always very nice. The people who work in the office leave a lot to be desired and as a company they WAY over charge.
We had a fan motor go out in our air conditioner so I called them because we're on their service plan. They came out the same day and the guy was really nice. His quote for a new fan motor was $640. Ouch! Luckily we have a good friend who offered to help us and look around to find someone who could do it for less. He did and it ended up costing us $238. That's a big markup Parker and Sons!
When they called me the next day to come and install the new motor I told them that we were going to look for a less expensive option but I wanted my old motor back that the technician took. The lady on the phone was quite rude and I got nothing but No's. When I told her I wanted the broken part back she insisted that the technician had to re-install the broken fan back in the AC unit. That seemed pointless but she wouldn't relent. She even called her supervisor and came back with the same answer.
When she called me back she asked if I or someone would be here to pay the $69 service fee from the day before. Never mind that the technician told my husband he wasn't charging him, apparently if you don't do the work with them then you have to pay. I told her I wasn't sure if I would be home so they could just mail me a bill. She refused (another No to the customer). I told her to keep the motor and I'll keep my $69. She didn't like that idea either.
My current plan is to have them out to check out the units before winter to make sure they are okay but then I'll be ending my service contract. They have good guys but the office customer service and especially the cost are not worth it.

Jaxon stopped by to assist with an issue the water company claimed was related to our water softener. He quickly trouble shooted the situation, educated us on our water system (we just bought the home) and gave us some ways to ensure that we had a hard and fast case with the water company that the issue was not related to the water softener. he also gave us pointers in terms of how much salt we should put in and how long it should last. He's a very positive representative of Ace and I recommend Jaxon and Ace.
