Best Handyman Repair in Fresno CA

Thanks Ed for troubleshooting my short circuited yard light on a Sunday.  And worked all day on Monday to finish the new line to the light .

I'm a deployed military member and a new home owner. I needed some minor stuff done to my home. I reached out to John and he promptly returned my call for 3 electronic deadbolt installation. Set up the appt for the next day no problem, and he even ran to Home Depot for me because I ordered wrong parts but he corrected that issue for me. It didn't take him long to finish the job either; very professional, attention to detail work and fast! I can tell he's a master at his craft. Maxwells handywork is highly recommended if you need anything done to your home! Will definitely use again.

Jason does my lawn and helps me around the house. He just helped me installed light for my porch, fixed my toilet, removed trees,  help me cleaned the backyard and many other things.

If I need help, he is the 1st person I call.

I needed a fence replacement along my side yard.  Mark was recommended by a neighbor.  Mark gave us an estimate and explained in detail his process and materials.  He and his crew arrived on time and completed the job in one day.  This included tearing down and removing the old fence and installing the new fence.  He also built a very sturdy gate.  The materials used are top notch and the craftsmanship is first rate.  Mark and his crew are all professional and friendly.  I would recommend Mark for any of your handyman needs.  I will use Mark again if any needs arise.

So we bought our house in February and we already knew we were going to remodel the bathrooms. We had never really done any sort of remodel project so I really wanted to do my research and find a contractor I really trusted to be able to do all of these bathrooms eventually. We contacted 5 contractors. They all came out and did site walks. Only three of the 5 contractors gave me quotes. I never heard from the other ones again. I knew what I wanted for the most part, but I still had a ton of questions. Out of the remaining ones only one really stood out and was patient with me and made me feel comfortable. They made the process super easy and honestly did a fantastic job. Thank you so much Gilgen Contstruction for the awesome work. I can't recommend them enough.

Richard with CRO Handyman Service was great.  He was very professional, reliable and reasonable.  He really knew was he was doing and took his time to make sure the job was done right.  He came by my house to check out the work that needed to be done, gave me a list of materials I needed from Home Depot and a quote for the labor.  Once I accepted, I took the list to home depot, customer service pulled the order for me and he came out the next weekend and completed the work.  He installed a gas line into my kitchen so I could hook up a gas stovetop and also anchored down my door threshold leading into my garage so it would not move.  Richard's attitude was very positive the whole time and he walked me through every step of the way.  I would definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone.  Thank you for the good work!

Had him out for an estimate on some various jobs I needed done around the house.  He was nice when he came out and sent me the estimate which I thought was very reasonable but when it came time to schedule anything.  He did not respond back to any of my texts and basically ghosted me.

JR left a business card on my door. I really needed help with some gardening. I needed the lawn front and back mowed and some bushes and an olive tree taken out.i also wanted to see how much it would cost to put in sprinklers in just the front yard. He came over and gave me an estimate and started working. I signed a contract, and he did the work. I asked him for a copy of the contract and receipt of payment. He kept telling me he would bring it back and never did. He also told me he would be back the next day to finish up. There was some garden trash he was going to take away and to fix the sprinklers he put in. He has never cone back. I kept calling him and texting him. He finally called me back and said he had to have some surgery and would send me the copies of the contract and receipt of payment. It has been over 25 days, and I still have not received them.  It's very sad when someone in business takes advantage of the people he is doing work for. So now I am going to have to pay out more money to finish the job JR was contracted to do.

Gave benefit of doubt. And read a few reviews that stated he took for ever to call or contact people back. He never did. I completely understand Covid and labor shortages and the times. But it's been over a month since reaching out. No contact. If that's a business's way of doing business I want nothing to do with it. Too bad as I have a lot of plumbing projects. Maybe their excellent but I don't know and won't.

And side note speaking of Yelp and dirty. This business has review stating he didn't respond. Amazingly it's gone. Only two reviews. Now that's dirty Yelp.

Update see owners response. I may not updated my location but I live in Springville CA and own there. If he actually read request he would read my location. But again proving my review's point. Unprofessional and unprofessional response. Note he didn't respond to request for work but did on a review within an hour. Go figure. And BS on Yelp this that accusations. No idea what he's talking about and don't care. He clearly doesn't care and is delusional. Sad pathetic. Wish I could give -5 star. Not worth another word or minute of my time.

And part of a business is responding to potential customers. But you clearly don't understand that.
