Best Sewer Repair in Fort Wayne IN
A while back I called A&A Mechanical to service my Generac generator. I called Generac directly as the home I bought this year came with a large generator. I have never had a generator before and didn't know what needed to be done on it. They gave me a list of companies that service their generators near my home, and A&A was a company within my town. I called and scheduled an appointment with them in a few days. What was great was that I found out from them, that they used to service the generator for the old owner of my house.
They came, performed service on the generator and set it up so I get it serviced once a year. Technician was friendly and explained to me how my generator worked, how it would test the system every week, pretty much gave me a lot of useful info. I am very glad I did get it service because two weeks later, my area lost power for an entire day. Seems some squirrel(s) messed around a nearby electrical substation. Immediately my generator kicked in... and it's an amazing generator powered my entire home! I so could have used this when I lived in Miami during hurricane season! If I didn't get it serviced, I would have been without power and I would have lost a stand alone freezer and a refrigerators worth of food... so I saved a lot of money!
If you have a generator, get regular service.... and get it from A&A!
Seems also per the website they also do work in plumbing, heating and A/C... so something to keep in mind too.

We have used Andrews Plumbing for several years and I highly recommend the company. Vern Andrews, the owner, is the most cheerful and helpful plumber imaginable, and his technicians are always cheerful, professional, and provide excellent service.
After enduring frequent sewer clogs for several years, which Vern and his technicians unclogged each time, we finally had Vern put in a new sewer a couple years ago. All the work was done very professionally. Vern even recommended a landscaper to re-do the yard after all the digging.
In July 2018, technician Lance replaced our water heater. First he assessed the floor under the water heater and decided to add a piece of 3/4 inch plywood to reinforce the subfloor under the water heater. Then he installed the new water heater. Again the work was very professional .

Used Perkins Septic and Drain Service for the first time as they were recommended by our plumber. Our main sewer line was clog. Called their office and was nicely greeted by Ashley which told me she would see when someone could come out to take care of the problem. Several minutes later she called me and said they could have a team out to our place later in the afternoon. In about an hour later I received a phone from the team to inform me that they would be there in an hour. Sure enough Nick and Ryan arrived when they said they would. I explained the issue to them and they asked about our plumbing and layout. They determined they wouldn't use hydro-jetting as it could create flooding from the drain in our basement. They worked several hours fixing the problem and were very informative about what they were doing and why. In the end they fixed the problem. I would highly recommend Perkins Septic and Drain Service. Thanks Nick & Ryan for doing a great job.

I just moved to the area. Had some plumbing issues that were missed in the home inspection I called Korte and they have done a fantastic job. It wasn't an easy or straight forward fix but JW did an awesome job at an affordable cost. I also used them for HVAC and they recommend more affordable options. I know enough to know when I am being up-charged. They didn't try and do that. I appreciate honest businesses.

The service guy came to my house for an appointment on a Wednesday early afternoon. He pulled my toilet and told me it would need snaked but also I needed a new flange. He then told me he couldn't snake it because they only have one guy who does that and he was busy all day. He then said he couldn't do anything with the flange because he didn't have what he needed in his truck because it was a loaner truck because his truck broke down. He said his truck had basic, minimal supplies and that I would have to call to reschedule. He then asked me if I wanted my only toilet back down and of course I said yes because it's my only bathroom. I thought it was ridiculous that he even came out if he was not equipped to do anything that day but here we are a month later and I get a bill for almost $200. I'm appalled at this company for their unprofessionalism and feel completely ripped off and scammed and wonder if this is something they do regularly. Why would you even come out if you couldn't do anything? My time was wasted and quite frankly I could have pulled the toilet off and put it back on myself for free. I think being charged almost $200 is outrageous and I will never do business with this company again!

Called them when the pipes in my basement burst. They came out and snaked my lines within a reasonable time. We asked that they schedule us to install an exterior clean out access. They apparently called the city to have the water & gas lines flagged but then we never heard from them again. A YEAR later I finally received the bill for the original service call with a late fee attached.
Take your chances & throw a dart at the phone book.

When it's 95 degrees out, it's good to see the good work and the timeline they used to get me back in the comfort zone . I can't say enough about how professional, polite, and friendly the installers Landon and Tim were. I was very happy with the entire process, and highly recommend them. After installation, they (Josh) returned and cleaned the duct work. He was professional and friendly, and as neat as possible considering the equipment he used to clean things. I'm satisfied so far with their entire process and would recommend them.

I called for some bathroom work. The receptionist was very nice and did a thorough job, which made me feel I was off to a good start. The price was very reasonable, so I chose to work with ASS (this acronym is pretty fitting, because that's how I feel about their service). Anyway, scheduled the appointment for 12:30-2:30 on the following Monday. I get a call at 9:00 asking why I'm not at home. I say appointment is for 12:30. He apologizes and said no one gave him an appointment time. Sure, that's fine. At least he is there early, ready to work.
The problem starts when he starts to work. He sends me out to get some parts. I come back with parts. He then says he can't finish that day because he needs different parts. He says he'll be back the next day. He never shows up the next day. I call ASS twice, and both times I am told he will be there soon. He NEVER calls to say he won't be able to make it. I should have just cancelled the service there and found someone else, but by now I'm in it. I call the next morning to see why I never even received a call that the plumber wasn't coming. I am told that he came by and told us he would be back the next day (which obviously did not happen). Anyway, AGAIN, we are told he will be there at 1:30 that afternoon (we are now on Wednesday). I call at 2:00 to see where he is. The receptionist says he is picking up some things and will be there soon. Fast-forward to 5:00 and STILL no one. I call again. Again I'm told he is on the way. Guy finally shows up at 5:30. He starts (barely) to work and says he needs some parts that he doesn't have and he'll be back tomorrow. He leaves without turning the water back on, but I am able to stop him before he pulls out of the driveway. He turns the water back on, but now the shower won't stop running. He now HAS to finish what he started, otherwise I'd have to choose between the water being off or the shower running all night. He finally comes back and manages to get the shower to turn off. Cue I'll be back tomorrow morning at 9:00. Tomorrow (now Thursday) at 9:00 rolls around and he is not back. Finally shows up at 9:45. I am at work, so my roommate, who had to wake up early to make sure the guy gets in, is there. He is PISSED. The guy bumbles around and leaves again because he doesn't have the proper parts. AGAIN! He has seen the shower on three separate days now. How does he not have the correct parts. I feel like this is some sort of scam. I call ASS and tell them they need to send out someone who knows what they are doing. They say someone is on the way. It is now an hour and a half later and no one has come back. The shower is leaking like crazy and it is still not fixed. I've heard the adage you get what you pay for, but this is ridiculous. I feel like I have to stick with ASS through to the bitter end because they owe ME money by now, right? Anyone else ever had a similar experience? I still can't wrap my mind around it.
Update: They finally managed to finish everything after 4 days of trying. I will admit, the price really can't be beat. They kept their original quote (which was almost $600 less than Roto-Rooter). I'm thinking the one guy was fairly new. They were nice at least. I feel I was a bit harsh, but they came on four different days and stayed for about 10-20 minutes on 2 of those days (doing it multiple times during those days too). The more I think back on it, I guess I was not too harsh. This is pretty unacceptable.
Update 2 (September 23rd, 2015): The shower they fixed has been leaking from the shower head since Saturday. My landlord called these guys back to fix it (as it has only been a few months since they were here). As you can imagine, I am not the biggest fan of this idea, considering the crap I had to deal with last time. Anyway, they were supposed to call me when they were on their way to fix the leak. I called twice throughout the day to make sure this was still happening and was assured that they would be out at some point during the day. I was told they always work past closing hours to finish any jobs they had promised, and they were behind because of a job earlier in the day (I'm assuming they were behind because they had to go back to the site multiple times as they did not have the proper parts/equipment/knowledge of how to do the job). Remember, I called TWICE, knowing they aren't very good at sticking to their word. Of course, as you can guess, they never showed up. I'm pretty much at my landlords whim right now, as he understandably wants it fixed for free as they couldn't get it right the first time. Unfortunately, I am the one who has to deal with them no-calling/no-showing because they can't even be bothered to let me in on the fact that I'm not worth their time (perhaps they didn't like my initial review). It would be comical in a comedy-of-errors/sitcom type of way, if it weren't happening to me.

Tressler Plumbing used to be good, but not anymore. They are very unprofessional make promises they don't keep, won't return calls etc. they will actually set up an appointment not show up and not respond to any inquiries. Find someone else or you will be disappointed

So not only did they install the dishwasher crooked. 23 days after my last review, the kitchen cabinet was wet to the point water was on the floor. If there wasn't water on the floor, I probably wouldn't have been alerted to the problem. I don't know if the pipes were installed incorrectly or not tightened enough, but either way the pipe came loose from the garbage disposal so when the dishwasher was running it was just pouring water out into the cabinet. Do not use these people for plumbing!

They came out and charged me $120 to tell me they couldn't evaluate my septic until they had the plans from the county. They told me they would get them and call me back. I never received a return call, and every time I called them to check on the progress they had no idea what I was talking about. They basically took my money ran. Do not use this service for anything but getting your septic pumped.

He came to our home to do a service repair. He charge us $450.00 to pump water out from our basement. He then referred us to Direct Flow Service to dig to replace a broken tile at the tree. We gave him $1500.00 to start the job. He never came back to finish the job. He wants to collect another $1000.00 without finishing the job. He covered the hole and left about 3 ft of dirt on top of the hole. He verbally gave us a 90 day warranty with work done from the house out about 10 ft to the sidewalk . The problem as I have been previously advised exists at the tree which is aprox. 50 from the house. We have had this same problem prior several times and each time was roto rooted at the tree which took care of the problem temporarily.
He said if we didn't pay in full he would add on $30.00 a month until paid. He never gave us a Contract - just receipt for the $1500.00. We wonder if he even has a permit to do this work.
