Best Outlet Installation in Detroit MI
Fast. Excellent communication. Extremely professional. Seriously, this company, and specifically Tani, the owner, is the most underrated service I've ever hired on Yelp. I was contacted within 20 minutes of requesting a quote; I was given numerous timeframes to pick from (all were as good as now); and Tani lived up to all expectations and then some. Dryer installed: check. Have time to fix my leaking sink? Check. This service has quickly become my go-to for all home repairs and installations.

Sent person, Dustin, through contract by Home Depot & a 3rd party DRFtps. Com a property contractor Anil Pal calling selves water solutions advisor. The whole thing was a ripp. Dustin never took water heater apart, was too busy talking non stop. Looked 12. He wasnt even going to do a D&C he never sent actual quote just said $1600 for new water heater. Charged mom n me $281.00 and theres no hot water in a pandemic. We had some hot water and now none. Dont go through them I'm reporting them and their services to the trade division whichever it is and more. And they screwed over a widow of veteran.

We contacted John's to install a large window AC in our home. We agreed upon a price and job date, they even sent me a reminder 24 hours prior to our appointment. I took the afternoon off for our appointment and...John's never showed up. They did not respond to my calls or messages either--ever. I wasted an afternoon off and still had to find someone else to do the work. I would avoid this company, they are highly unreliable, unresponsive and a waste of time.

I usually don't write reviews unless an experience of a product or service is either really good or really bad. This one was bad.
Summary:
I drove home twice from work, called thee times, never got a quote to fix my problem, had to hire a different electrician, and Oak electric still wants to charge me for a service call. They didn't do their job multiple times but want to get paid.
Oak Electric's management does not have good business ethics from my personal experience.
Detailed Story:
I found Oak Electric on Google for repairing my Generac generator. I called and scheduled appointment for repairing my Generator. I put the scheduled date and time in my phone calendar. When the appointment date came, I went home and waited expecting to see someone... no one showed. I called and they apologized because they couldn't find my appointment. So I re-scheduled another appointment. A couple weeks later, I go home from work and met a service person at my home. They were on-time. I showed the gentleman my Generac breaker/transfer switch and he said we would get back to me with a quote to repair within a week. 3 weeks went by and I had not received a quote so I called Oak Electric back. A woman told me she would look into it and get back with me. I never received a call back. So I called another electrician and got the problem fixed with 1.5 weeks total. A week after, I was all set with my now working transfer switch, Oak electric emailed me an invoice for a $149 service call. I called them to explain the what happened and that I didn't think it was right to charge me a service call fee. They met with their management and told me I still had to pay the $149 service fee.
