Best Lighting Repair in Denver CO
This is the first time I've used Fixer - great experience. Quickly installed my new range hood, even salvaging a small cord guide from the old one that the new one was missing. They clock in and out via phone apps, so the charges reflect the time they are working. I'll use Fixer for my home projects moving forward. Great job!

I had a very good experience with the repair person who came to the house. He was early (but called to make sure that was OK), explained things well, and worked quickly. He explained I needed a new dual capacitor for my AC unit to get the fan running again. He offered me a flat rate that included labor and the part, but did not explain things beyond the flat rate. It seemed high, but I work on the 2nd floor, the AC was not working, and he was there with the part and ready to do the work. I agreed to the work.
While he did the work, I went in to check online to see how expensive a part it was. Turns out I could probably have bought a part for $20-$30 or around $60 at the high end. The total price, from Save Home Heat, was around $300 which included the part, labor, and the $75 travel fee. For the five minutes I was inside, he had finished the work and everything was working with the AC unit.
I realize that companies like this have overhead that needs to be covered. But, this was possibly a 5X markup on the part and minimal time diagnosing and making the repair. To me, this seems exorbitantly high and a pretty unsavory business model.
If the price had been much more reasonable, I would gladly call this company again since they were otherwise prompt and professional. I can not recommend them for a small repair and I will not be in touch when we replace our furnace in the next year or so. I wish all contractors would adopt practices that cultivate trust and a longterm relationship!

Honest and professional, scrupulously detailed in his work be it stone or Sheetrock! This guy can fix anything!

DO NOT USE. They quoted us $26,000 for a job another company did for $4,000. They are a bunch of salespeople that claim they're master plumbers. Pay a little extra for a sewer line clean. Don't be tempted by the cheap sewer cleaning. They will get their line stuck and threaten to charge you $500 to cut it and leave it. Other companies don't do that.

My AC died about a month ago. Unfortunately it was not repairable (tried that and it didn't work). I called 3 AC companies to get estimates for repair vs replacement. Ultimate Heating and Cooling was the most professional, took extra time to discuss changing some venting to improve airflow, and thoroughly looked over my existing furnace as well.
The representative didn't try and talk me into a model that was overpriced, offered suggestions to try and prolong my existing furnace (ended up replacing that as well), and took time to go through my old house to examine all the vents and airflow.
The gentlemen who did the work were fast and efficient - new furnace and AC in one day! All mess was cleaned up and the new system explained. The whole process was seamless. I would highly recommend this company.

A couple of hours after my review was posted here and on Google, I received a call from Fix It customer service. After explaining my point of view and hearing theirs (they charge by the job, not by the hour, three-year warranty, etc), we arrived at a settlement, which they followed though on.
I'm under no false impression that as a result of a call with a friendly and empowered customer service manager that the questionable business practice that I described above will now all of a sudden be fixed and no one will experience again.
I am still definitely put off by my experience. Their practice of charging by the job is perfectly fine, so long as that price is within a realm of fairness. There is no justification for paying more than $950 for a 45-minute job to replace a $200 pump. Again, I am not a plumber and had not the faintest idea what it would take to get my sump pump fixed or replaced. So, in advance of the work being done and with a nearly overflowing sump and more rain on the horizon, how was I to decide what is a fair price? I relied on the fairness and integrity of a reputed firm. I was let down this time around.
It's sad that it took a negative review to get any action on their part. As I said, I had tried numerous times to reach them before posting my review. But, I am satisfied with the settlement and applaud them for at least reaching out and making it right.

I had setup the service plan with this company and they never were able to come out as they always had an excuse on the day of my service for their technician. I was rescheduled several times on both the plumbing side and on the HVAC side. I called to cancel my service plan and they didn't even ask why I was canceling lol, they clearly don't even care about their customers. Stay away from this company to avoid any frustration, better service can be found elsewhere.

So I have had a lovely experience with Plumbline Services...starting on June 5th I had an appointment and got a call that they had a computer glitch and had to reschedule 100+ people...okay...now I'm rescheduled for June 11th 1-5 time slot, after 5 that day we get the call they can't show up...I rescheduled again for Saturday June 15th, the guy does show up without the right equipment and is confused on what I need done( a tune up) mind you I have specified and made sure that they know I'm on the 3rd floor of a condo...they have assured me no problems we can do that not one person but 3 people have confirmed this...next the guy tells me he brought the wrong ladder and is not comfortable doing it...okay I tell him kindly to leave and have to call and reschedule again...they say this is a 2 person job so they will send 2 techs out...okay we are getting somewhere..mind you the roof is flat and the access is on the landing of stairs so not high but I get you need someone holding the ladder...I call the morning of June 25th to confirm I'm on the schedule and they are sending 2 techs...yup we have you down and 2 techs will be coming...guess what?!?! One tech showed up!!! they never had another tech scheduled and he too could not do the job...how do companies like this stay in business??? The last tech told me his boss would be informed of the mix up and they would call me to get something set up...they called 2 days later to tell me they can't do the job sorry...now I have not said one thing negative to these people I have been quit understanding...I get it I don't want anyone to feel unsafe...but when you tell me and I call you specifically looking for a services that you said in the very beginning that you could do I'm little confused...so basically none of your employees are knowledgeable about your services and there is zero communication going on in the company...your techs really have no idea what they are walking into...both techs who did come acted like they had no idea what I was getting done or that I lived on the 3rd floor. I would never recommend this company for anything...to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. If I could give a negative rating I would.

These guys have always been way over priced, but now they are dishonest too. Late Friday afternoon I overtightened the fitting on my swamp cooler. It was hot, so we called blue sky to come and they said it would take an extra $100 after hours in addition to the $80 show up fee and then of course time ($180/hr). and materials. I had to leave for an appointment so left my wife in charge. They fixed the leaky fitting, but also decided that the swamp cooler needed a new float, which is $8.46 part. They charged $254.68 for the float. Total bill was almost $600 for just over an hour of work.
Run from these guys. Do not trust them.
