I had a very good experience with the repair person who came to the house. He was early (but called to make sure that was OK), explained things well, and worked quickly. He explained I needed a new dual capacitor for my AC unit to get the fan running again. He offered me a flat rate that included labor and the part, but did not explain things beyond the flat rate. It seemed high, but I work on the 2nd floor, the AC was not working, and he was there with the part and ready to do the work. I agreed to the work.
While he did the work, I went in to check online to see how expensive a part it was. Turns out I could probably have bought a part for $20-$30 or around $60 at the high end. The total price, from Save Home Heat, was around $300 which included the part, labor, and the $75 travel fee. For the five minutes I was inside, he had finished the work and everything was working with the AC unit.
I realize that companies like this have overhead that needs to be covered. But, this was possibly a 5X markup on the part and minimal time diagnosing and making the repair. To me, this seems exorbitantly high and a pretty unsavory business model.
If the price had been much more reasonable, I would gladly call this company again since they were otherwise prompt and professional. I can not recommend them for a small repair and I will not be in touch when we replace our furnace in the next year or so. I wish all contractors would adopt practices that cultivate trust and a longterm relationship!

This company is fraudulent as hell! They send vague invoices, with one day to pay, for no reason. They also trespass on personal property to harass people. Additionally, from what I've seen of our neighborhood's shared drive (that this company plows for a small fortune), they don't do great...or even good...work. Average, yes. Additionally, they NEVER respond to emails or voicemails. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company!!

I had a backed-up sewer drain and I thought I would give Plumbline a try. So I scheduled an appointment and Noah from Plumbline called and let me know he was on his way. Noah arrived and listened closely to my comments and then made his own inspection. Noah decided on an entry point for his drain cable machine and then methodically ran the cable in and out until the blockage was cleared. Noah tested his work by running extra water down the drain and there was no longer any backup. Thank you Noah !!!
I recommend this company.

I was in need of a Swamp cooler ,After numerous estimates I decided Ultimate Heating was the right choice for me.
In the next few days the cooler was installed quickly.
After spending 5,000 dollars with the company,2 months later in August my swamp cooler was acting up making loud vibrating noises.
I called and a tech was sent out a few days later, he noticed the drive wheel was stripped out causing it to vibrate loudly.
He took pictures for the manufacturer ,saying this was very uncomen, He tightened the drive wheel and said I will be contacted in a few days for a manufacters warranty repair.
A few weeks went by and nothing.
I then called them to see what was going on ,still no-one has any idea.
4 more calls and still nothing happening.
After Nearly 3 months I received a call that the parts were in and we scheduled a appointment.
I had asked for a free winterization since I was unable to complete this due to the repair that was needed.
It was agreed too, when the work was completed and the winterization done I was given a 100.00 bill for winterizing.
I couldn't believe it,I called the office and no-one had agreed to this credit.
Spoke to the owner and she said this was not her fault that the unit didn't function the way it should.
Who's is it mine the customer that just spent 5,000 for a product that you sell that you don't stand behind.
After arguing with her as to why it took 3 months to get a warranty repair, completed after calling numerous times she gave me the free winterization not willingly of course.
Why is it you can have excellent customer service before and during your install but after the money is exchanged there is no service.
I Will not be calling on Ultimate Heating and Cooling again, very disapointed on there service .

I scheduled an appointment 6 days in advance for a plumbing issue. I made arrangements to take half a day off of work for the appointment, The day of the appointment they called and said one of their employees was doing bad stuff so they asked if it would be possible to reschedule. I explained that I had already taken off work. The lady said she would call me back and that someone would be at my home by 4:00. She never called back and they never showed up. Very unprofessional

Scheduled a furnace fix at 9 am on a Sunday as tenants had no heat. Appointment was for 5 pm.....they called back at 2 pm to cancel as technician couldn't make it.....and offered to reschedule for Wednesday. Really!!!! My tenants had no heat!!! Their actions directly lead to my tenants having to wait for fix until Monday as too late in day to get anyone else. Don't use these people unless you want to get the run around.

The technician was nice, but I would definitely get quotes from other companies first. The least expensive 50 gallon gas water heater they sold was $2100 my internet was down so blindly trusted them. Huge punch in the gut to realize how much I over paid.

We hired Blue Sky to put in an in floor radiant heat system. We were very sorry we did. I don't have time to write all the ridiculous details, but am sure when their management sees this, they will fill in the details after they swear up and down they're a great company and I'm the scum bag client. Unfortunately, for Blue Sky I have their nasty emails and a copy of the mechanical lien they had put on my house without giving me proper notice as well as having been paid per their contract. Do business with these guys if you want to be fleeced. They may not be experts and plumbing but they are fleecing experts.
