First call was to Mrs. Dood she was very nice & helpful and told us that be out at 3pm they showed up 15 minutes early. Had me up and running in 45 minutes Mr. Dood and his technician where honest and very fair priced and knowledgeable We will definitely be using there service again and recommend them to anyone else!

Simply the Best, Better than All the Rest! Mr. Bill Martin and Tech Asst., Morris are very knowledgable, friendly, honest and has very reasonable rates. My Mother and I had this contractor come out to service her gas furnance for the Season. We both are very pleased with the service and timely matter it was completed. Strongly recommend Tidewater Plumbing & Heating for your Service Calls! It was a pleasure to do Business with this Company and plan to have them service my Mother's furnance each year.

I asked on my neighborhood Facebook page for references for ac repairman. I was actually given a different guy's name and he ended up sending me Kelvin with Rivera's Home Improvement! After meeting and doing business with Kelvin, I know it was divine intervention, because he was a God send! I ended up needing a new unit outside. Which could have been stressful to even think about due to expenses, but Kelvin is as honest as they come and doing business with him was a true blessing to me and my family. I now have a new unit, 2 days later. He showed up first thing in the morning just like he promised and my home is currently cooling in the low 70's and I now have a new 10 year warranty on my unit! I will never call anyone else about ac/heating ever again! I can't praise him or his company enough! No stress involved! I highly recommend him for your ac/heating work! You'll be glad you did

If I coulfd do 0 stars I would. I have an upstairs and a downstairs AC until. When I bought my house, the upstairs AC wasn't working, so I had American mechanical come and check it out. $800 later, the only thing I was able to figure out was that there was a leak, and they proceeded to fill it with the freon even though they believed there was a leak which is what costed so much. Next they did a couple hundred dollar leak test. Told me, they could replace the couplings or tear off the siding of my house to check the pipes because they didn't believe the couplings could cause as much leaking as was occuring. I opted to only do the couplings as it was a cheaper fix and needed done anyways. 3rd visit. Couple hundred more. Upstairs unit was fixed. Next hot day, I go to turn on the downstairs unit, and to my surprise if doesn't work! Blowing hot air! I call a new company, and guess what?! They said someone unplugged some fuses and connected them backwards! I completely and totally believe that this was done on purpose due to each tech that came pushed me and pushed me to sign up for their maintenance contract which I politely declined each time.
This company is shady and took advantage of a wife who's husband is deployed and knew I wouldn't know any better. I trusted a company that was supposed to help me when I needed it. It's absolutely disgusting what they did.

If I could leave less than one star for this business I would. I had a technician out last Friday to look at a few minor problems. I had an outlet behind my washer that has not worked since I moved in. When the technician tried the outlet it worked. This leads me to think I might have an intermittent short somewhere but this guy just shrugged his shoulders & said 'it's working'. Next problem was the outlet where my WiFi is plugged in. My WiFi comes and goes as it pleases. I had a similar problem with a house I previously owned and the problem was moisture in the area. The technician took off the electrical clover, said he didn't see any moisture & again announced it was working. The third problem is really why I am writing this review. The light fixture on my ceiling fan has been broken for some time. I had called several days before my appointment to make SURE whoever came to my home would be able to repair the light. I was assured Michael and Son repaired ceiling fans. The technician removed the bulbs from the light, checked it with a voltage meter, put in a new bulb, checked it again, then said that Michael and Son did not repair fans. I told him I had called to make sure I could have my fan repaired. He said 'sorry'. The fourth issue was a GFCI outlet in my bathroom that kept tripping. The technician removed the electrical cover, said he moved the box over a bit and everything was working now. Twenty minutes & $69 later I called the company to complain about not getting my ceiling fan repaired. The woman I spoke with was also under the impression that her company repaired ceiling fans! She was ready to refund me at that time but I suggested they send someone out to repair the light on my fan, instead. She was very nice~ Told me she would escalate the problem to her manager & I would hear from them soon. I did not hear from anyone so I called back Tuesday morning. I explained my issue & within a couple of hours I got a long voice mail back, basically telling me I was not getting a refund. When I called back to explain my problem I was told that the technician had quoted me costs of repairing all of my electrical problems. At that time I got a pdf on all the repairs, including replacing my 3 year old Hunter fan that does not need to be replaced, it just needs to be repaired! On the day of service I did not get an estimate on repairing anything, all I got was a receipt for the service call. I was given the customer service manager's email address. I submitted a long email to the manager. I have still not received a reply. I am so disappointed in this company. I am fairly new to this area & finding reliable repair services has been a real struggle. I did my research before I had Michael and Sons come out. What a disappointment!

Do not hire them. I think he is a scam artist! He was hired to do a small job in tore up my entire floor, which cost me $5000 out of my own pocket because he kept the rest of the insurance money saying he spent it on plumbing. I had somebody go into the house after him and a lot of the things that he said he did we're not done.
