Best Door Repair in Virginia Beach VA
Neil performed a toilet installation and installed some spacers between the back of the tank and the wall upon my request. My appointment was on short notice since the old toilet was leaking, so he had to return a few days later for the spacers. Mr. Neil was punctual and communicative about his ETA for both appointments, removed the old toilet (and schlepped the new one up a flight of stairs), and cleaned up the work area. I do plan to hire him again for future projects. His rates were very reasonable and this is a great way to support a local, BIPOC-owned business. I will follow up with photos of future projects as appropriate.

called him on a Sunday afternoon and was given a prompt and courteous answer despite it being a weekend afternoon. He was out to my home within the week and fixed my very unusual bathroom vanity sink in no time. He even snaked the drain which I had not even thought to ask him to do. Polite, trustworthy, honest and reliable. Such a refreshing change in this day and age of corporate coldness with other repair services. Would not hesitate to hire him again if I needed any further repairs to my home!!!

I asked on my neighborhood Facebook page for references for ac repairman. I was actually given a different guy's name and he ended up sending me Kelvin with Rivera's Home Improvement! After meeting and doing business with Kelvin, I know it was divine intervention, because he was a God send! I ended up needing a new unit outside. Which could have been stressful to even think about due to expenses, but Kelvin is as honest as they come and doing business with him was a true blessing to me and my family. I now have a new unit, 2 days later. He showed up first thing in the morning just like he promised and my home is currently cooling in the low 70's and I now have a new 10 year warranty on my unit! I will never call anyone else about ac/heating ever again! I can't praise him or his company enough! No stress involved! I highly recommend him for your ac/heating work! You'll be glad you did

The good: This company is large and comprehensive enough that they can take care of a range of home maintenance issues and get you an appointment quickly. They were professional, kept me updated on how long I needed to wait and the workers contacted me and showed up during their estimated window. They worked quickly and knowledgeably. The company has fixed our air conditioning units and heaters without a hitch, and just recently cleared a clogged pipe.
The bad: My landlady got this company mixed up with Norfolk Plumbing, which came out the penultimate time I had plumbing issues. I knocked off a star because Norfolk Air committed highway robbery, charging me more than double for a simpler and less severe clog. $370 to snake my cleanout for 10-15 minutes is exorbitant!
The ugly: The reason I didn't rate it lower is because the man who came out to do the plumbing told me (and showed me) roots were growing in the pipe. Sometimes plumbers let that stuff go so they can continue to collect money when the clogs inevitably happen again. So thank you, plumber guy, for your honesty!

I've used Sir Fix It on two occasions. Tim was there when he said he would be and did a thorough job both times. He is definitely reliable and communicates well throughout the process. I would recommend Sir Fix It for small or large jobs.

I was treated very unprofessionally from the phone, to late service, to not being given a receipt. Please no one use this company.

Very unprofessional customer service. I've used them before with other rentals I own but after today this will be my last. Beware of high charging prices and if you call them out on it expect not to get any of the services you needed done.

Mr. Gilbert,
Your first statement of, had been our client for a while should have made you reconsider providing the services that I requested regardless of the dollar amount. To address the dollar amount, your business has done work for me before ranging from a mere (your words) $180 to over $3000. So with that being said, why would that mere 100 dollars be a problem seeing that you stated I had been our client for a while? Also, I never once stated that I shared your estimate with anyone-- for that wouldn't make good business sense on my end. Think about it, why would I share your estimate with anyone just so they can offer a lower (yet still rip-off price) just to beat you out. What I stated was that I asked another professional contractor painter (not a guy working out of his truck like you stated) how much he would charge me to paint and patch the holes throughout the house. Unsurprisingly, he priced me with less than half of what your business was going to charge me. You stated that your business called me because you wanted to go through the estimate with me to negotiate, that statement is false. The statement that was said to me was, we will not be doing a $100 worth of work when we quoted you at $3,500. Now since you would like to bring up unethical practice into this conversation, not once did I discuss your pricing with any of your so-called competitors, however I will tell you what is unethical...charging me prices of $50 to $105 just to adjust a toilet flushing chain and replace a shower head. I will tell you what is true about your statement though, I definitely will not being doing any business with you again and I'll be sure not to remain silent about your unprofessionalism of your business. Good bye!

A guick Google search of Matt Arbas's name will yield his very shady criminal history including being suspected in his father's disappearance as well as drugging and kiddnapping. This guy doesn't have a clue and didn't pull the first permit when he remodeled my home. Shady, dishonest, and lacking the skill to water a house plant
