Best Picture in Tucson AZ

I used Pioneer several years ago when I had a fitting leaking and replaced a flex line.  I live out near the Three Points area and they came right out and the charge was reasonable, as I recall well under $100. So when I was having difficulty changing a shower drain a couple weeks ago (12/14), I called them again. It was late in the day so I was told the hourly rate would be time and a half ($180) plus a truck fee whatever that is. I didn't want to mess with it anymore and needed it done so I figured I'd take the hit for what I expected would be $200-$300. I was trying to get a ballpark estimate so I mentioned to the woman on the phone that it should only take about an hour and she seemed to confirm that.  I was not aware that they charge from the time they leave the shop not just the working time at your house. I also did not know they would sent two guys and there would be two hourly charges. They showed up with a different part. Good luck finding the exact part you need in Tucson. But this looked like it would fit.  They had to cut and trim a spacer to get it to fit the pipe. The end result was a huge sticker shock. 2.75 hours labor for two guys ($247.50 per hour $680 total labor) plus the part plus the truck fee. A grand total of $765 for a shower drain. Lesson learned.

Ron and Chris are responsive and top notch at what they do. What impressed me is that they are thorough to diagnose problems and then identify how to fix it.
