Update. I was contacted by the company and was told they did check before leaving, but I feel like they should still have turned back after getting my call. So they apologized and offered a discount for future services.

We had good experience with Fuse HVAC, we called them to fix our microwave. The technician came on time, finished the job quickly and neatly and gave us tips and recommendations on how to avoid situations like this in future. We will use their service again in future if required.
