After the power outages due to the recent weather, my kitchen lights started flickering intermittently. I have worked with Fuse HVAC before and like them, so I called them again for this job. Fuse HVAC are not cheap but they do good work and are reliable.
They sent Arsen T. who was a good technician. Very polite and competent at his job I would recommend him without hesitation. Arsen even went the distance and went to home depot to get the right type of breaker to replace mine.
My problem is resolved and in the future, I would call Fuse Hvac (& request to send Arsen) again.

Eric came out to change one outlet and ended up changing my breakers. He saved me from being in an emergency situation. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company.

Hi. My name is Susan.
I just got off the phone with Norman. He emailed me and he called me twice. This second time I was able to answer the phone. Norman had a huge wave of customers once Groupon put their deal for his services on their website. However, there were issues with the Groupon deal with regards to the service areas advertised and other difficulties. I won't go into the details here --that's between Norman and Groupon. He has given complete refunds to unsatisfied customers and Groupon holders. Also, even though I received a refund from Groupon he offered to honor the deal of 2 hrs of handyman work for $39. I'm not going to take him up on it b/c Groupon is refunding my money.
I found someone much more geographically closer to me to take care of my closet system installation and I told Norman I'm going with them for this project. I will need help with dog and cat door installations so I will contact Norman about those when I need help.
Norman told me he's been in business for 40 years and he says he stands by his reputation. From what he told me he did find some new customers through Groupon who are really pleased with his work. He said he's not someone who would take advantage of customers.
Understand that in this economy people who've never once had to advertise their services or products have found the need to do so. Groupon is one way to advertise. Groupon has some really good deals but I've experienced purchasing service Groupons twice and had problems with them. I'm going to stick to restaurant deals or at least call the service company first before I purchase another service Groupon.

I would very much like to have Norman help me. I was impressed with the projects that were done and shown on the website. I purchased a Groupon for $39 for 2 hours of handy man work. I called the toll-free and the 650 area code phone numbers and left messages but no one has returned my calls. Today I was able to get a refund from Groupon. It was time consuming to have to go through all of this.
I have a John Louis closet system which I would like to have installed in my closet. I can email a PDF of the instructions to the person that will work on this project for me.
Also, I will have other projects such as installing a dog door and a cat door.
If Norman would contact me I would be happy to discuss an estimate and scheduling.
I'm giving four stars because I want to give this business the benefit of the doubt. I understand how busy handy man businesses and contractors can get. I don't want to say anything negative because I don't think it's fair to judge someone or their business just because we were not able to connect. I will post an update if I still don't hear from them.
By the way, I live in East Palo Alto. I have experienced other contractors not contacting me back and I wonder if it might be because I live in EPA. I've had at least a dozen contractors and handy men come to my house and they have never had any problems.
For some reason I cannot access their website. It appears to have been shut down. Or maybe it's a computer problem on my end?

Called twice and left a message within a week, no call back from Chuck. Two weeks later, I decided to give him another chance and called, Chuck answered the phone and we discuss the project I needed him to do. He gave me a quote for installation of a dishwasher and I said ok let's do it. I asked when can he come by, he told me he'll call me back when he checks his schedule on his computer. NEVER heard back from him, that was two weeks ago. I already gave up on him the next day, got on Taskrabbit and had someone come by to do the job within the same day.
