I knew what I needed in replacing our sewer line, and the options I needed quoted. Matthew was easy to communicate with and he understood exactly what we needed. His quote was neither too expensive nor too low, but reasonable for all the options I provided.  Matthew was a quality young man, and a good representative of the company.

Was given this company's name in the welcome wagon basket.  I called and explained the issue , quoted $79 for service call and diagnostic.   They  charged us $650 for approx. 40 minutes of running a camera 6 ft from clean out, and stating we had a blockage.  No invoice was given for explanation of services until 2 days later it was emailed.  I called the office and spoke to owner.  He just defended his workers, was very unprofessional, even started raising his voice.  Just beware before you have them come out.  Call another plumber.

Responsive, trustworthy, and reasonable. What more can you ask for? I have used them twice now for electrical work and will likely use them again in the future.

I called Austex Sprinklers because there was a leak from my irrigation control box.  They called me back within five minutes of leaving a message and told me what I needed to do immediately to try and stop the leak until they could send someone out.  Matt showed up exactly when he said he would and gave me the lowdown on what needed to be down, the parts he needed to get, what they would cost and a rough estimate.  Throughout his work, Matt updated me on what needed to be done and even though he ran into some other problems along the way, called and asked my permission before he proceeded.  Even though he had to dig up around the control box,  he left it in a shape to where you barely notice that it had been dug up.  Even my neighbor was impressed with the work that was done.  If you need sprinkler repair or installation, give Austex Sprinklers a call.  They won't try to upsell you anything and they'll make sure your system is repaired and tell you what needs to be done if your system is not up to city code.  They give you a fair price and they're true professionals and know what they're doing.  Thanks, Matt and Austex Sprinklers!

Fox recently reorganized or was sold.  Disregard all old reviews as they are not about current management.  I had used them a year ago but did not know of the change.  Took two days to come out to fix AC.  I was specific that this was in a high rise condo, chilled water system, and I wanted someone who had been before at this very large building.  I told them the building engineer evaluated and told me I need a new actuator.  They gave me time range or 8 to 5, refused to be specific.  Fellow shows up at 4.  Looks at my system and say, I'm not qualified to work on this.  They sent another fellow.  5PM.  He got out the manual. Did not have a clue.  Muttering and cussing as he tried to figure things out.  645PM and we had to leave.  He did not bring an actuator on truck.  Called the next AM and asked to speak to a manager. 24 hours later no return call. These people are going to fail.  They are being banned from our building due to poor customer service.

They did not hit the window of time that they designated. When called no consolation was given as a result of the missed schedule.

Update:  After seeing post I was promptly followed up and offered consolation because of the time I waited.

Gold Star Leak and Repair is a scam. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on a phoney leak detection. The technicians don't have the right equipment and Gold Star is incapable of producing a report of findings that is actionable for any repair. You will then find that they don't response to texts, emails and phone calls after they have your money. They are basically committing fraud by positioning themselves as a pool leak detection and repair company.
