I needed a cracked deck post and beam replaced that was not very easy to fix. They were the fastest to respond and came out the next day to repair it. Overall they did a great job.

We worked with Joedy and team on a big home renovation project last summer (June - November). We bought a very old fixer upper in East Sacramento - the before and after pictures are the best testament to their work. I did a ton of research and was let down / did not align with many contractors I met before Joedy. Starting from our first phone conversation through to the end of our project, he and team exceeded our expectations. They were super flexible, accommodating, and communicative (hard to find in this industry!). We are so happy with the final product - which included a room addition, a full kitchen and bath renovation, removing a wall, replacing a window, and so much more. We're thankful and hope to continue to work with Joedy, Blake, and the team for projects down the line (as they never end!).

This review is for Paul at Honey Do HandyMan Services. I never hired him for work -- thank goodness. He was so incredibly rude and unprofessional in his communications with me, I ended up not hiring him.

I contacted him in November 2015 to get a list of tasks done around our home. We were in no rush, so we hired him for December 18, 2015. I texted Paul on December 17, 2015 confirmed that he was coming the following day -- Paul texted yes. I took the day off from work, specifically to get these projects done for Paul on December 18, 2015.

On December 18, 2015 -- he sends me a text from Lake Tahoe at the LAST MINUTE that he is in the E.R. and has to reschedule. Hmmm....sounds fishy.....but I reply that I hope he is feeling better. Extended skiing/snowboarding trip? Who's knows....but regardless, he says he has an opening on the following Tuesday or Wednesday. What about the E.R.??? Sounds like Paul is going to be A.O.K.???

I give Paul the benefit of the doubt, and reschedule for the following Tuesday. Even though I took a day off from work, due to his last minute cancellation. After talking about it, my husband and I decided to not hire Paul because his whole story about Tahoe and the E.R. sounded so random and unreliable, that we didn't want to hire someone we couldn't trust into our home.

I texted Paul over 24 hours in advance cancel our Tuesday appointment. Figured that would give him more time to heal from the E.R. or recoup from his Tahoe trip. Whatever. He texted me back SCREAMING that I was inconsiderate for cancelling at the last minute and to never text him again. Ha! Are you kidding me????

We are so relieved we went with our gut instinct and not hire this rude and unprofessional person. I'm sure he would've messed up our projects around our home as well. We definitely dodged a bullet with Paul.

I had to write a yelp review on this company I called different companies and after I talked to quality home repair they were so friendly on the phone they came right out and the very next day they came out and did concrete work took care of my gutter repaired my office door and they were just awesome people if you ever need a home repair or anything they are the people to call wonderful customer service it's hard to find good service and good people to do quality work they put a smile on my face thank you Zav and Arsen

My friends recommended this and I was so happy with the work they did.  I just bought the house and was still living 400 miles away.  I needed a kitchen wall removed and tiled countertops to quartz. We spoke on the phone and discussed what I wanted to do with the kitchen.  As the work progressed - he sent me pics and called to make sure it was correct. The kitchen looks great now that the wall is down and countertops placed.  A month after I moved in, I decided to remove the walls between living, dining and family rooms - again the outcome was great.  I highly recommend them for doing any type of work needed.  In the near future, they will be changing out my double doors in the entry way and painting my garage.

I called CK for an urgent situation I had with a tenant property I manage where the single bathroom toilet was not flushing.

After  having the city snake the main line, the toilet would still not flush. I could not replace the toilet unless I moved the sewer line as bathroom not built up to code.

CK Discovered object was flushed down toilet and stuck in backflow portion of the toilet.

CK was awesome and I will save his number for all my future plumbing needs in Sacramento area on other rental properties I own and manage.

Trevor is great!  Hard worker, very efficient.  I had him remove an old jacuzzi tub.  Friendly, professional, and I will be hiring him again for future projects.

Mikhail (Mike) saved my day. I've been dealing with a lot of stress lately. One glaring problem - my washing machine was leaking.

I did my research, ran diagnostics, and found the cause. LG front load washers have a rubber gasket/boot held in with 2 tight metal rings with springs. Mine separated at the bottom. I knew that I alone couldn't remove, and definitely couldn't reinstall the inner ring with the tools I had. I ordered specialty tools ($100) from Amazon but they've lost the package. No laundry done for over a week.

I called 6 appliance repair shops. Either no call back, they didn't service LG, or they wouldn't touch a machine that a customer has worked on.

Then I called 2 handymen. First one refused - outside his wheelhouse. At this point I'm beyond stressed. So I called Mike of Ku Handyman Services...

Mike patiently listened. He was at my local Home Depot. He said text him my address and he'll come take a look. Mike said he's not experienced with washer repair but if I was comfortable with what needed to be done, he would at least assist me. When he arrived he shed his shoes at the door without being asked to wear shoe covers or shed his shoes. Fabulous!

Mike was patient, calm, thorough and willing to watch the helpful video I found regarding this repair job. And we fixed it! My washing machine no longer leaks!!  Mike didn't charge me much at all. If you need a handyman, I highly recommend Mike of Ku Handyman Services. He'll be honest, kind, helpful and professional. Thank you Mike for dropping my stress level today!

Robert was on time and quick.  He was reasonably fast, way under an hour.  He managed to level and adjust all my built in closet drawers.  I definitely would recommend him.

Remodeled our master bathroom and did and outstanding job. Could not be happier. Very professional, well done job. No corners cut.

Let me start by saying g that he's very nice and professional - BUT what he never disclosed upfront it that his MINIMUM fee is $150 !! He should state that first and foremost. Of course he tells me this once he's at my house. These Yelp ads are very misleading. He and others on here are not a handymen, he's a  legit business!!! There's a difference. I only had 2 outdoor lights that needed to be hung ( non wired, screws only) . Total charge - $170.00 !!!
So no matter what you need you will pay a minimum of $150 regardless! I would definitely NOT use his services again unless it was a huge project  worthy of the cost.

Call Jonathan for handyman services and other jobs you just need a little bit of expertise and help to get those home projects or repairs taken care of! Jon is knowledgeable, reliable, respectful and efficient.  We had some solar shades that needed installation on our outdoor patio and he took care of it in no time!!

Damien expertly diagnosed and fixed a clogged pipe in my bathroom basement. He was able to navigate around some tricky issues with the old plumbing in the house with his extensive knowledge and toolset. Great communicator, great price, highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about this construction company. We did a remodel inside and out (complete kitchen remodel, bathroom, flooring throughout, tankless water heater, doors, electric panel, exterior siding, painting) and Caldwell Construction handled everything end to end.

When they said they'd be there, they were there, rain or shine even when we lost power.

Our estimate was what we paid. When the crew found additional issues, they called them to our attention and offered complete repair or patch depending on the issue.

Change orders were clear and easy to understand.

The office team kept very close track on all materials purchased and offered review whenever we asked. Progress payments were due weekly and we knew exactly where our money was going.

The crew was courteous and would periodically stop to review work done with us. This made it easy to understand the effort and time each portion of the project would take.

Caldwell Construction is a straightforward and fair partner. We passed every phase of inspection with ease, I have great confidence in their work. I'm glad we went with them for our project, and they will do my next project.
