Best HVAC System Maintenance in Minneapolis MN

A/C removal and installation. They were competitive, service tech was on time, informative, and finished according to estimate.

They installed a new boiler and water heater (one of those heated off the boiler) and did an awesome job.  I had 3 bids and these guys are the only ones who did an analysis and who recommended a boiler quite a bit smaller than what they were replacing.  It was installed last fall and did an amazing job keeping the house warm over the winter, and it did better than the old one with lots more BTUs.  

Their price was middle of the pack but they sold me on their effort and working with me to get it done how I wanted it.  Very friendly and excellent work.

And we also love the new water heater.

Everything you could ask for in a great service company. John gave specific detailed feedback, weighed the costs and benefits of what actions to take, showed commitment to customer satisfaction and feasibility in price and functionality, and I got to learn plenty of baseline information about the specific problems that were occurring on my unit so I know why decisions are made.

Fast, friendly, and fair pricing! The guy was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. My condo building will be using them again!

Update:  10 days later BWS called to see if I wanted to reschedule the appointment they cancelled on the 16th.  A 10 day delay in contacting me did not tell me I was a valued potential customer, but rather that they must have been behind making their numbers for the month and were scrambling to line up some business.  Well, they had my business booked at one time but through their own actions they lost my business before they ever saw a dollar from me.  I won't be back.

I did not use them for this small project, but I have used Minnesota Plumbing in the past and would 100% recommend them!! They're a great company!!

We arranged for Neighborhood to come out for a $54 AC tune-up and Bryan came out for the service.  We found him to be extremely knowledgeable, efficient and professional.  Unfortunately our 23 yr old furnace and AC could not be saved without extensive repairs.  We opted to replace both units at a very fair price and look forward to not having to call for repairs every new season.  I highly recommend!

If you can line up Hovde for whatever plumbing work you have, you'll be in good hands. These folks are honest, helpful, and do great work. It's a family-owned business, and they clearly run their business with pride.

Received a very aggressive sales call from this company that insisted we were due a furnace tune-up (we don't have a furnace and have never used this company).

No idea of the quality of this service as they never showed up for my scheduled tune up appointment. I waited over 2 weeks for an appointment and when the person didn't show up I called them.  First I was told I had the wrong date. I did not have the wrong date.  They called me back and said they had to reschedule my appointment but had FORGOTTEN TO CALL ME.  We had cleaned out the furnace room and were awaiting the results of the inspection to determine if we could do another home improvement or if we'd need a new furnace in the near future.  They REALLY caused problems for us by doing this!  I wouldn't waste my time with this company as they are obviously unreliable and have little concern for anyone's schedule other than their own. There are better providers out there who will put their customers first.

Chad Durant was the hero of the week...  After some serious issues came up in the house, I called Hero for help.  Chad came over and was extremely helpful.  Not only did he have the expertise I needed, but he was very friendly and seemed to really care - plus he was great with follow-up.

I will definitely recommend him to others, and have his contact info saved for future reference for when I want a trusted and reliable service professional.  Thanks, Chad....  You are AWESOME!
