I read numerous positive reviews on Thumbtack regarding water softener repairs by this outfit, and I'm VERY pleased to say Waterfoul Plumbing did not disappoint! Corey was very professional, very courteous, and corrected our issue. Because our softener is 20+ years old, I figured we would have to purchase a new one, however, Corey indicated the unit was fine but just needed a new part. He corrected our issue within an hour. He's also very reasonable in terms of price. Waterfoul is now our go-to for all of our plumbing needs. Thanks, Corey!

Jon came over this morning to give me an estimate on a new A/c unit, but first checked my old unit to check any issues. In the end he found that my unit works great with zero issues, I just needed to change out my air filter on my furnace. I really appreciate that he didn't try to just sell me something and was honest and thorough. Nice guy too. I will use Jon when ever I have issues. Thanks for being a stand up guy and honest

I had my sewer snaked out to the curb. They didn't leave any mess and it was priced on par with other times I've had it done in the past and cheaper than the bigger names in drain cleaning. Also, I asked them to investigate a bad smell coming from under a sink. They spent a while trying to figure it out and answered all of my questions. I would definitely recommend their services!

We recently moved into a house and this was our first time hiring a plumber. That being said, it was daunting to decide who we wanted to go with. Jay from Norman's Home Improvements made the decision easier for us, as he was thoughtful and willing to discuss our possible plumbing issues right away, before even booking an appointment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Norman's to anyone who was looking for assistance. Our experience was a good one, and our issue was resolved with one visit. The total cost was especially reasonable, and we feel we learned a lot in the process - it is always a great thing when someone is willing to explain things to you and answer questions, versus just completing the job.
I reached out to numerous plumbers and companies, but Jay's response stood out right away. While most people were happy to give me a (fairly high) ballpark quote which left me wondering if I would be taken advantage of for my lack of plumbing knowledge, Jay was happy to discuss the possibilities of why our kitchen sink had stopped working for no apparent reason ahead of time, before even booking an appointment. He was able to come take a look at our sink just a couple of days later, on a Friday evening. He spent some time discussing the plumbing of our house with us in general, which was extremely helpful as we only moved a few weeks ago. He was happy to answer questions and make sure we understood things, which we really appreciated. He was professional and explained the cost ahead of time after diagnosing the issue and prior to completing additional work beyond the base service fee for the visit.
Norman's Home Improvements was a good first experience for us, and I would gladly hire them in the future for additional work. In addition to plumbing, they also do work on electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. We would highly recommend Norman's and we especially appreciated the willingness to not only perform the work but explain the process to us as well.

Dan has (unfortunately, yet thankfully) been to my house several times to unclog my drain in the basement whenever it backed up. Day or night, I even called him on either Christmas Day or Eve, and he came out right away. Dan cares about his customers and always goes to great lengths to provide quality service and also provides references for bigger projects, for example, for me to get my tubing replaced in the basement, so that my drain doesn't keep on getting clogged. Anytime you need any sort of drain service, please call Dan!

I had an unfortunate situation with these guys. However, they redeemed themselves and corrected the situation professionally. The quality of their work is solid.

Fantastic service! I would give Chris more stars if the ratings allowed it. Had a water flow issue affecting shower and taps. Two other plumbers couldn't diagnose the problem. Chris did and made himself available during the process. For a master plumber his rates are reasonable, he's persistent in solving the problem and is a nice guy. Definitely our go to guy for all plumbing needs. Thanks Chris.

Scott did an excellent job installing my new A/C. I also had Horsch & Miller install a new hot water heater in my home and again another excellent job. They are do a very through job and are reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them!

We are extremely happy with the service we recently received from Milestone - the technicians were pleasant, timely, and friendly. Dan was particularly helpful! He explained what (and why!) he would be doing, answered our questions, worked efficiently, used walking tarps rather than the carpet, and made some very helpful phone calls for us. Two other technicians came the next day to do some additional work for us and there wasn't even a callback charge!
Thank you gentlemen for helping make our new home more attractive and efficient!

Went to speak with owner about plumbing work. No call no show twice.
I wouldn't recommend this time wasting company.

We had The Ihn company out for an estimate and ultimately to do foundation repairs on our home.
We could not possibly be more satisfied with the quality, quantity and price of the work performed.
The crew was always at our home when they said they would be, they performed the work neatly and cleaned up as best as possible each night and did an outstanding clean-up at the end of the job.
The work passed City of Milwaukee inspection- and I'm certain the repairs will last for generations.
Our job was not an easy one, it had its share of complications- and our underground sprinkler system was intact and our lawn was not in bad shape after 5 days of heavy machine and foot traffic.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions on their foundation work.

Pipe Master came to unplug our slow toilet (31 January 2018). They could not and instead replaced the toilet with a new one. For this and some minor stuff we were charged $870.38. In December 2018, we called Pipe Master back because the toilet was leaking. Although this was less than a year from installation, we were charged $174.24. Now, in April 2019, four months later, the toilet is leaking again. Now Pipe Master has refused to answer my phone calls (three voice mail messages) and an email. We feel we are being cheated. We will contact a trustworthy plumber this time.

Ben's plumbing work is of excellent quality (no cut corners). There is no hidden costs, and price quoting is very accurate. Ben is timely and very honest in all the work and dealings with me.
Highly recommended.

I'm remiss in not reviewing VIP earlier - things get lost in the shuffle of moving, I guess. In any case, we were selling our house and the buyer's inspection showed issues with a Palmer valve (whatever THAT is) plus a small leak in our upstairs bath.
My husband felt strongly about using someone local, mostly because old houses tend to be quirky and he wanted someone with neighborhood experience. We called VIP and were surprised (and pleased!) at how quickly we were able to get scheduled. The plumber showed up right on time, fixed both issues with just one trip to grab a part and left the worksite clean. I was really happy with the work done, and thought the price we paid was very fair. Had we worked with someone less experienced with older homes and the dreaded Palmer valves, we would absolutely have spent more money.
Our new house is just as old as our last one - hopefully we don't run into any plumbing issues, but if we do, we'll be calling VIP.

I requested service on a Wednesday night after 7 pm. I received a call at 7:45 am Thursday morning and they were at my home by 8:15 am and unclogged my laundry drain before 9 am. I was super pleased with the Pat's work! Saved me taking time off from work and super prompt, professional service.

No stars. I have used them for over 10 years for 10 apartment units. And I always thought they were pricy. I had water coming through my walls one day at our home. I called them. The guy showed up...at 5. And told me he has other plans but it was ok. So he explained that he was at time and a half as I was holding my 6 month old. Well I don't know what to say. We need our plumbing to work. So he didn't even fix it that day. Came back. Same mood. Whatever. But I got the bill...
And they charged me $149 for parts and $557 for labor!! Total bill almost $800. 3 months later we still had a leak. I called and said I think your friendly plumber cracked our pipe. They disagreed. I called another plumber who happens to be an OSHA instructor. Came to look at it. Even took pics for his class on what not to do. So disappointed!! I even explained my disappointment. They didn't offer to make it right, nor seem to care that they lost all my business. I will never use them again!! Don't bother even dialing their number. They may have a wedding to go to on the weekend. And can't help you anyway. I heard that one too.
Just awful!!!!!

As stated in a previous review the owner of Wilkes is scary! He has no qualms about being rude to customers if he feels in the right! They do good work-the plumbers that work for him are nice- he is not! I would steer clear and hire another company that's more professional because if the owner shows up on your job and there is a discrepancy- heaven help you- short fuse!

My basement drain overflowed on a Saturday evening and I contacted Zien for emergency service. A worker came out and spent 2 hours trying to unclog the drain, but was using the WRONG EQUIPMENT. The cable was far too small for a large pipe, the head he used was also small and the machine was not strong enough. He then told me it needed to be jetted at a cost of $1000. He left a huge contaminated sewage mess, including the tree roots all over my basement floor. He cleaned up NOTHING. As I followed him up the basement stairs, his machine was dripping a trail of contaminated sewage water all over the stair carpet. It will have to be replaced. I have never had a repair person make such a filthy mess in my home and walk away. I did not trust his advice and instead, called a different company to come out. The other company cleared the pipe within 20 minutes with the proper equipment. They also laid a tarp down and covered things. They did not leave a single drop of water on my floor. Zien is clearly incompetent and unprofessional. Not only did they NOT fix the problem, they created a toxic, disgusting mess and damaged my home. I contacted them to provide feedback, however, the service manager never returned my call. If you enjoy cleaning up sewage, they are the company for you.
Addendum: I later discussed with the service manager what had happened and he did listen and address my concerns appropriately.
