Late on New Year's Day my garbage disposal blew out the bottom. If I used the sink at all I had a bad leak. Having no kitchen sink is no fun.

Next day I called and Brian came at the end of the day. He looked under my sink and shook his head. Asked if my dishwasher was acting up as well. The plumber that did my remodel left a hodgepodge mess. Wrong sized drain, everything was connected wrong.

The drains were a mess. Brian gutted everything and started over. I now have the right size PVC everything drains and is now to code.

Ran the dishwasher and it didn't back up the drain or out the vent for the first time in years. All the time I thought my dishwasher was junk, it was actually the hack plumbing I had been living with.

Max and Randy really fixed my condo up quick.  They arrived on time, conducted a pressure test, and cleaned 7 drains and 2 toilets in about 25 minutes, start to finish!  Max (the owner) is someone you can tell takes pride in his work and will go the extra mile to develop a lasting relationship.  Windy City Rooter gained my business as a customer for life. I have some solid wood doors on a track in between my kitchen and family room. The track got bent up and Mike came over and took everything apart and installed a new track. I have to say he did a much better job than the people who originally put up the doors for me. He made sure the wheel would not run off the back of the track and he also installed stoppers. Mike was very professional and did a fantastic job. I will be using Mike as my handyman from here on out. Thank You :-)

Richard was very helpful and came to assist me.  He explained how he would fix my problem (a repair that WE Energies found).  I'm thankful and appreciative and will definitely contact Richard for future problems.

Do yourself a favor and avoid. Terrible communication in addition to half finished and poor work. After hiring them to replace our closet doors they did half the job, and the work they did do left the doors ruined.
We had a verbal agreement with Donn that he would REPLACE all 4 of our doors with new ones. When he showed up with the finished work he had not replaced the doors, but rather sanded two of them and covered all of them in a brown 'restorative' oil. Immediately after they were installed, this brown oil was rubbing off on my hands, carpet, and clothes. We have had to since hire a whole new carpenter to redo ALL the work. When we contacted Donn and his wife Melissa for a partial refund, they vanished and have not responded to our phone calls. I am including a photo of a paper towel I wiped over the surface of one of our ruined doors. This substance they put on the doors wouldn't come off and we wound up having to remove the doors and throw them away. This was getting on my hands, carpet and clothing. Beware if you use them to get your job in writing and do not pay cash. We stupidly trusted them and wound up unhappy and swindled.

The customer service was unprofessional and refused to give me an estimate for the draw of the cost over $8000

Trust me when i tell you rasmussen is an honest and competent company that would hire again. They did a job for me at half the price i was quoted by drains r us!

Avoid this place at all costs. Technician Zane came out and said my water heater needed both elements and thermostats replaced. I suspected the elements, given scaling. But I asked why the thermostats needed to be replaced. He said he replaces them all as a set. I asked to see the set and he said no. So I asked what the cost was just to replace the elements, and he said he was not going to do that, he only replaces the entire set. When I asked why he got very agitated. I remained calm until he said take or leave it. So I said forget, just get off my property. He said if you touch me you will be sorry. I said what the hell are talking about, just leave. He repeated I would be sorry if I touched him. This kid was not right in the head. I can't believe the company hired this strange person. I called Parker and Sons, they came out one hour later. He said both elements need to be replaced. I asked about the thermostats and he said they were fine. I told him about Zane's insistence that everything be replaced as an entire set, and he said nonsense. Go with Parker and Sons. Great customer service. Avoid Mahoneys and for sure steer well clear of Zane the technician.
