I needed a couple small things fixed in my house. He replied quickly and was easy to work with. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained what was going on and troubleshooted my problem quickly. He was respectful and made sure the work areas were clean when he left. 10/10 would hire again.

How in appropriate of a response from you. First it is a nice home and I am not a slum Lord. Second, why would anyone turn the water on in a home that has no heat in the middle of winter. Your response to my complaint clearly illustrates the kind of company you are!
You should be ashamed with your accusation of me as a slum lord!

The young man That came to my house pulled out a part to replace without checking if that was the part that needed replacing. My hot water heater doesn't even take the part he went to replace. He then told me he has the exact same water heater and just worked on his over the weekend and couldn't fix it. When I questioned my water heater only being 10 years old he informed me his hot water heater was only nine years old and that's about as long as you can expect them to live.
If he had the same hot water heater as mine, why would he have pulled out a part that my water heater doesn't even have? What are the chances he has the exact water heater, worked in it for two days and as a plumber by trade could not fix it?
He was in my house for approximately 30 minutes and my bill was $168. At no point was I told what the cost would be, they just sent me a bill. If you double that price, it's the cost of a new water heater...
This was not a good interaction. I'm incredibly skeptical and it all felt shiesty.

I had asked for an estimate to have the frame around my garage door replaced. The carpenter texted me that he would be there at Wednesday morning at 10am, but never showed up. He then texted me that he would be there at 10am Thursday morning, so I left to meet him at my condo. When I got there, he had already started the work without discussing it with me first. When I told him that my realtor was asking for a detailed receipt and Lien release, he asked for more money and then walked away from the job.

We moved into a new house and needed some work done, so we subscribed to their 1717 club, which gets you discounts. We quoted having some electrical work done which included having a hot tub wired in. All went well, we had the tub delivered and the electricians showed up right after to install it. I do appreciate them coming as it was just above 0 out. They completed the wiring and told me even though the tub wouldn't power up properly their wiring was 100% correct. I called the hot tub service place who suspected bad wiring, so I put them in touch with the electrician, who again swore up and down it was correct so we got put on the schedule for the service tech to come out later. So we waited until the service tech came out and of course, the hot tub was never wired in correctly in the first place. When we called Mr. Hollands they said there was nothing they could do until Monday, despite this being their error. $2600 in work that wasn't done correctly and the best they could do was offer a $50 gift card. I may likely call on Tuesday and cancel my membership and take my business elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor and avoid. Terrible communication in addition to half finished and poor work. After hiring them to replace our closet doors they did half the job, and the work they did do left the doors ruined.
We had a verbal agreement with Donn that he would REPLACE all 4 of our doors with new ones. When he showed up with the finished work he had not replaced the doors, but rather sanded two of them and covered all of them in a brown 'restorative' oil. Immediately after they were installed, this brown oil was rubbing off on my hands, carpet, and clothes. We have had to since hire a whole new carpenter to redo ALL the work. When we contacted Donn and his wife Melissa for a partial refund, they vanished and have not responded to our phone calls. I am including a photo of a paper towel I wiped over the surface of one of our ruined doors. This substance they put on the doors wouldn't come off and we wound up having to remove the doors and throw them away. This was getting on my hands, carpet and clothing. Beware if you use them to get your job in writing and do not pay cash. We stupidly trusted them and wound up unhappy and swindled.
