Dan has (unfortunately, yet thankfully) been to my house several times to unclog my drain in the basement whenever it backed up. Day or night, I even called him on either Christmas Day or Eve, and he came out right away. Dan cares about his customers and always goes to great lengths to provide quality service and also provides references for bigger projects, for example, for me to get my tubing replaced in the basement, so that my drain doesn't keep on getting clogged. I emailed on a Sunday with a request to follow up about replacing my leaking water heater. Didn't hear from them Monday morning so called and was told that Jenny would call me back, which she did not do. No one did, actually. Ever. Now, I like to shop local, but I also like hot water, so I ended up calling Home Depot and they had a guy from Sun Prairie get it done in under 4 hours. Boom.

I HAVE HAD them install bathroom fixtures and do a whole new bathroom. this entailed breaking up concrete floor and installing new on demand hot water heater, toliet, shower etc. also cleaning floor drain.

We needed a gas line put in the house we just moved into to use our dryer.  Robert's made it a priority to get us on the schedule quickly (the laundry was starting to pile up!), and did an excellent job.  They even came back out the next day when we smelt natural gas - turns out I caused the leak when I hooked up the dryer, but Robert's came out and fixed it for free.  We're new to town - Robert's will be our go-to plumbing/heating company from now on.

Thursday morning, a leak sprang on the pipe connecting to our hot water heater which resulted in us needing to shut off all of the water to the first floor (and all of the hot water). I called around 8:30 a.m. The gentleman told me he needed to finish shoveling his driveway and he would be over. He made it over around 11. In less than 10 minutes he had assessed the problem but said he didn't have the parts and he would be back on Friday. We hadn't heard anything by 12:30 on Friday, so we called. He said he had an unexpected job come up but he would be here sometime that day. He didn't show up and he didn't call. We called late Friday to ask him to let us know when he thought he would be able to come. He didn't answer and he didn't call back. We assumed he wasn't going to come Saturday or Sunday. On Monday at 11 a.m. we still hadn't heard anything so we called. He said that he had another job but would get to it tomorrow. On Tuesday at 1 we called again. This time he said he has no idea what's wrong with it but he was going to come over in a few minutes to check it out. At 3:20 he still had not arrived so we called and he didn't answer. At 3:30 he called back and told us he's retired and doesn't do plumbing anymore. We tried very hard to be patient and accommodating, but we can't allow this behavior to go unreviewed.
