Best Drywall Installation in Long Beach CA

The inside of my house was in desperate need of a complete makeover so I did some searching and met with a few contractors. The first contractors I met didn't give me much confidence in their work so I was glad when I found Ixtapa Construction!

After meeting with Jay (the owner) and his business partner Alex, I found both to be very professional, experienced, knowledgeable and personable. I was impressed with the samples of their work and their  suggestions. Also, Jay has high standards for customer satisfaction (even after job completion) and that was important to me. And, although their bid wasn't the lowest, I was willing to pay a little extra for the level of work they do.

After hiring Ixtapa Construction, Jay and his team started with the master bathroom remodel followed by the kitchen remodel, flooring, baseboards, walls, doors and ceiling work. All work was done expeditiously but with attention to quality and detail. Also, I want to mention that Alex was very helpful and attentive to all my questions and all aspects of the project! I will be using Ixtapa Construction for any future jobs and I highly recommend them!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Leo. I've already gave him a great review for some work he did on my house and on a rental property from roofing work, new fencing,  plumbing and everything in between. I am now giving him another fantastic review for the work he did on another rental property that needed a complete renovation. Basically the house needed to be complely upgraded. He was able to do it all. From replacing all the faucets, re- grouting the bathtub, shower and sinks, re-coating the bathtub and fixing all the broken drawers. He repaired all the interior and exterior cracks. He added a new front door, he replaced all the blinds, he fixed the kitchen bay window. He replaced the difficult light switches for one light go on and off from both switches. He fixed the heater. He did the cement work from the front stone area before the entry stairs that had a gap between that area and front yard. Plus the plumbing that went from the sump pump out to the front yard. He was able to do all these odd repairs with no problem. He explained everything that needed to be done. He provided pictures of the problems. He purchased all the item that were needed to do the job and provided the receipts. He went out of his way to get the job done and in a timely manner. He truly wanted to help anyway he could. Plus he was so pleasant to work with. To top if off his prices were reasonable. I can go on and on but it boils down to that I highly recommend Leo for anything you need done on your property. I asked Danny if he could help me out on short notice and he came same day. I told him I needed an outlet fixed that wasn't sending power to a new bathroom exhaust fan I installed.

Danny determined the outlet was fine but diagnosed the fan as the issue. He took the fan out, made the appropriate adjustments and sure enough it was working fine!

Really appreciated his friendly, helpful demeanor and definitely recommend his work!

Be forewarned. This guy doesn't know what he's doing. He works with his wife. They will give you a good price, but they will do a poor job. They are basically only good for something you can do yourself but if it's any more than that expect a total micky mouse job. They can't even install a sink right. Their work ended up causing a leak that caused thousands of damage to my home. If that's what you want, go for it. Is it worth saving some money to pay thousands later?? You've been warned.

I got a referral through a client of mine to use RS3M Construction for a few updates that needed to be done in my salon. They were very diligent in the work they did . I was very impressed with the carpet cleaning. The carpet look brand new. They were on time and very professional. I will be using them again for future projects.

Great help from Victor. I had other handyman come out to tell me they wouldn't hang my shelves because they were on a wall that was half cement. He was able to that and change a few outlets in my house the same day that other handymen also struggled with.

Found Ayala Plumber through Nextdoor. I was a little hesitant at first since I've had difficulties in finding a reliable, honest, and efficient plumber. After going through several reviews, I decided to make an appointment with them. My phone call was answered very quickly and they were able to stop by to see the problems I was having within a few minutes and provided me with quotes for the work. They left since they had another appointment but said they would come back around 1pm. They arrived about 15-20 minutes before 1pm. They fixed the leak in my bathroom by replacing the knob and the spout and even left a new shower head. They fixed our outside spout that was leaking. They purchased a new kitchen faucet (and provided me with the receipt) and fixed/replaced the piping below the sink. They'll be coming back next week to patch up the ceiling that was damaged due to the bathroom leak since it needed more time to dry. They have excellent communication and customer service. They showed me every little thing they would be replacing before doing the work and then showed me afterwards once the work was completed. I really appreciated that they took the time to do that and really make sure that I was satisfied. They also completed everything in a little over 2 hours. They didn't mess around and got straight to work. Their price point was great too. Can't say anything bad about them. So glad that they took my call because I have a Missouri area code. Will definitely use them for future plumbing needs. Thank you so much Ayala Plumber and the Nextdoor community! I can see why they are a neighborhood favorite.

Update: They came back today to patch the ceiling and did a great job! Still very satisfied with all of their work.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Not only did he waste my time by rescheduling 3 times. He left me waiting and then was very rude and told me to find another plumber on a Friday afternoon at almost 4 o'clock. Very rude and inconsiderate to say the least!

The Kitchen Sink for our rental home needed a faucet replaced. Mr. Harris charged me over $500 to changed out the faucet. I wasn't there to look over the work as it is a rental, but when it was done, my tenant informed me that the faucet he replaced was a left handed faucet...he took out some board under the sink and didn't installed it back correctly so the doors didn't close right. I tried contacting him letting him know that I was not happy with his work and needed him to come back out to fix it but didn't get a response. Basically he just did the job as sloppy as he could and disappeared. I had to get someone out to do things the right way and he charged me half the price. If you are looking for a handyman, maybe take your chances. If you are looking for a licensed plumber, I suggest you do your research and find a reputable plumber because Mr. Harris is very sloppy and does not pay attention to details.
