Best Air Duct Repair in Long Beach CA

I can't give a review on the quality of work for this plumber however , I can give 5 stars for a quick response to my request . This plumber responded within 5 minutes of my request and was able to answer all my questions .

This is an instance where I chose a business on Yelp reviews and was so disappointed. It takes a whole lot for me to leave a bad review, and usually if I don't have something nice to say I don't say anything at all.

We bought a condo a block away from this business, and since the condo was too far for my traditional plumber to travel we called these guys. They came the next day, and charged us three hours for work that we later found out could have been done in half the time.

Their plumber came out, said he fixed the three items we asked him to do and left. It was the end of the day, we locked up and went home. Returned the next morning to find out water was pouring into the unit below ours, and the garage below that. The HOA had called out another plumber who had to turn off the water to ALL 22 units to find the issue. When we went into our place we saw water on the kitchen floor. The new plumber opened the cabinet under the sink to find Stephen's Plumbing had left a bucket under a leaking hose under the sink, overnight the bucket overflowed and poured into the unit below. So the we had to pay $200 for a new plumber to fix Stephen's mess, which only took 25 minutes! He couldn't believe the Stephen's guy had been there for three hours for work that should take 1 hour max, and then left a flipping bucket with a leaking hose under our sink without telling us.

When we called the Stephen's plumbers' cell phone we told him what happened and first he lied and said he didn't work the day before, when my husband identified himself, the guy just said my bad, my bad then confessed he was getting pressure from the office to leave our job and move onto the next job.

So apparently the company charges everyone 3 hours of work, and when 3 hours are up they push their guys to move on to another job. Even if that means water leaking all over your house and surrounding units. I called Stephen's to tell them what happened, the guy who answered said he would have a supervisor call us, and that none were available at the time. Of course no one ever called, or came to look at the issue, but we later heard from the Stephen's plumber that the supervisor did call him and told him not to talk to us directly anymore. I guess they are worried about liability. So we're out $287 to Stephen's, $200 for the guy who fixed Stephen's work, and who knows what the damage will be in the neighbors unit.

Ugh! Do NOT use these guys. Unless you want major water damage to your home. The worst. And to Stephen's, if you had called to resolve this mess I wouldn't have left a poor review. Lesson learned.

RESPONSE TO STEPHEN'S COMMENT BELOW: The great thing about YELP is it provides customers a place to share their true experiences. I am far to busy to leave specious reviews of businesses. I rarely leave a negative review because I don't want to ding a business who was just having a bad day. But this is 100% true. The poor work was done by your staff member. I am the CEO of a construction company so it is not a lack of understanding on our part about what was supposed to be done. Had you or one of your supervisors actually responded to our calls to come out and see the work (we were only a few blocks away) we would have shown you the cause and effect of your staff persons work. However you never called back, and not having come to see the situation for yourself, your comments merely demonstrate wishful thinking and lack credibility. I only posted this so other people will not be left underwater.

Excellent!!   I needed some plumbing help FAST!!  FRANS plumbing was perfect!!   My issues were resolved quickly by a knowledgeable friendly plumber! The price was also very fair!   Compared to others that I called, FRANS plumbing fixed only what was needed at a good price!   Thank you !!

Wow.  Such great, prompt service.  Called and got an appointment for next day service.  The plumber, Kevin, was extremely professional and courteous.  He even arrived 5 minutes early!  Not only did he quickly solve my problem but also let me know how to prevent clogs in the future.  So happy I called Coast.  Thanks Kevin!  You were awesome!

Crandall's is a great plumbing company! We have used them for a various plumbing projects. They arrive on time and give a quote before the job is started. They clean up after the work is completed. I recommend them for your plumbing needs!

Two years ago we had a new heater installed by So Cal Plumbing & Heating.     They called and we were advised by them that we should have the unit checked since it was over 2 yrs old.  Their technician checked the heater and the ducts in our attic and advised us that there was asbestos in the ducts which would require the removal and replacement of all the ducts.  The cost would be about $4,000.  We decided to get a second opinion and called Cornett Plumping and Heating, who we have used in the past and we're always happy with their service.  The technician, Wayne Cornett came at the scheduled time and checked everything out and told me that there was no problem with the ducts in the attic and that the asbestos was properly covered. He also noticed that the heater that we purchased from So Cal Plumping was too big for the size of our home and that was the reason it was so loud when it was on.  He was great and saved us $4,000!
We've used Cornett many times in the past and their technicians were always very professional, knowledgeable and honest.

My kitchen sink was leaking and the water was warping the wood.  I had North Highland install a new sink and am very happy with their service.  I got a number of estimates including some from other 5 star businesses.  North Highland was clearly the most reasonable estimate.  They were responsive on Yelp messenger, they had many time slots available and he came when he said he would.  The dependability was a huge plus because I had to make time from work to get this done.  He was quick and polite.  Highly recommend!

I called Absolute Air Conditioning as I heard their ad on the radio and I wanted to support a local small business.  I have a relatively new HVAC system (18 mos.), but wanted to get my air conditioning serviced for upcoming season.  Got an afternoon appointment scheduled and company texted me the day before to confirm appointment and to ask if a morning appointment would be preferred.  I texted them to say that I would take the morning appointment.  Day of appointment I got a series of text messages stating they were looking for a technician to come to house.  At 12:34 pm received a text that technician would be at house by 1:30 pm.  Technician actually came to our community and was a block away when I got a call stating an emergency occurred and technician would be at our house at 3:00 pm.  At 2:57 pm, received another text that technician would be there in 45 minutes.  I cancelled my service, though they did offered to lower the service cost, but my instinct says they made the offer because I cancelled.  I spent all day at the house waiting for service that never showed.  Probably a good company based upon past reviews.  My experience not so much....

I had been having issues with my toilet and drains clogging and after multiple visits from our property management's maintenance guy, they finally called the professionals at Jack Stephan's. Jimmie L. came out and was very friendly - loves dogs too! He went right to work on all my toilet/clogged drain issues in both my bathrooms and kitchen. He worked quickly, thoroughly AND he took care to pick up and clean up as he went. He even went above and beyond to reroute some pipes for my garbage disposal that weren't properly installed by the maintenance guy just a couple of months earlier. I wasn't paying this bill since I am a renter, but did notice the bill when I signed off, and it was very reasonable. I will be recommending my property manager use Jimmie L. at Jack's for all their future plumbing/drain/heating needs.
