Best Leak Repair in Irving TX

Plumbing Issues? Yuck.  Finding someone to do it for you? Nice. Finding someone amazing to do it for you at a reasonable rate?  Double nice.  

MP and I recently bought a house and of course with a new house, comes new issues.  We needed to have some plumbing work done...some things had to be repaired under the house, our water heater wasn't to code (and really old), and little odds and ends.  

I have learned the hard way that you always get a few quotes when doing house work.  The first company I had out, quoted me over $2K for a new water heater and labor, and over $900 for the additional work.  Ridiculous. Rodgers?  Significantly less for a brand new, installed, to code water heater and about $400 for everything else.  Needless to say, I hired them on the spot.

Family owned company (which is always a plus with me), so honest and really knowledgeable.  We had one thing the home inspector said was an issue, Rodgers said it wasn't...that actually, it was quite common in homes.  Not to worry. Great!

Making the appt was easy and they were always on time! Stuck to their work and didn't take longer than was necessary to complete the tasks.

It was so nice to not worry about whether the job you're paying for, was done correctly by honest people...these guys are the real deal.

Darrel came out & repaired my underground water leak( which I dug up)& did an excellent job. The price however was very expensive $429 for 1 hour of work. I requested a quote on another item and it was 3  times what I thought it should be. Buyer beware!

Other reviews on other sites gave them a good rating and I have to agree.  I called at 8:30 in the morning for a AC drain clog in the foundation and they arrived within the hour.  They fixed the problem in 15 minutes and were honest.  They told me what I could do to prevent the problem from occurring again.  It just involved some do it yourself re-plumbing of the AC drain pipes.

I can't say enough good things about peradventure. We had them out to get rid of the air gap on our sink and reinstall our garbage disposal and faucet after getting new countertops. They are very fairly priced, showed up on time and were so courteous!!

Our granite people took part of our garage disposal with them and he was luckily able to find a spare part in his truck - total life saver!!

They are a family owned business...Nathaniel the owner is 1 of 11!! Just great people who do honest work - I would highly recommend!!!

Highest possible recommendation. Showed up on time. Very friendly. Answered all my questions. Told me I didn't need all the work I thought I needed. Fixed the problem for much less money than I expected. What could be better?

We had a plumbing issue in our upstairs bathroom (clogged sink) and needed someone to come out during after normal business hours. From my initial phone call with the admin person, I knew there would be a $150 base charge (service call) just to have someone come out during after hours, plus fees for the repair work. However, I was still a bit sticker shocked to see after 45 mins of work (standard snake job to unclog a drain), I was charged $478 ($150 + $328). Then things got worse when I called the company back just to see if I can get a breakdown of the repair charge for $328. Now, while I wasn't super thrilled about paying nearly $500 dollars, had my simple question been answered, perhaps all this could've been avoided. However, not only was my question not answered, this person ended up giving me an attitude and questioned why I'm even complaining about the pricing. I requested for a manager to call me back and received a phone call within minutes from Randy who explained to me that the $328 was a standard fee. He also explained that the lady I spoke to was from some 3rd party company that handles their after hour support. Anyways, our plumbing problem was fixed and I got my answer, but I wasn't too happy about the whole experience.  And just to be clear, the lady who initially helped me over the phone to schedule the visit as well as the technician/plumber who came out to fix the problem did a great job, so this 3 star review is not a reflection on them, but more for the whole experience.

The guys are great!  We did a full kitchen and master bath remodel on our new house.  This company was referred to us by a friend.  From the time they came to do the bid to the very end (6 weeks later!!)  They were great!  They had to make many trips to our house as we moved some plumbing and had to replace some things.  They were always willing to work me in on short notice, and always showed up and on time to the pre-planned work days!  We had some pretty tough work, especially in the bathroom (adding shower lines and rough in for specialty tub and faucets), they did a fantastic job and even cleaned up after themselves everyday!!  They communicated with me about every detail (they seem small, but if the tub is off centered by 1 I would notice!)  They worked with my over obsession with everything having to be just perfect....and they actually seemed to understand why I was so concerned about all of the finishes being a certain way!
One thing Angie's list does that I like is the amount spent...we spent about $4000.00 (to let you know we had quite a bit of work...)

I would recommend Professor Plumb to ANY ONE!!!  For everything from a clogged toilet to jack hammering concrete, these guys really did a great job for me!!

I see that good reviews were years ago. Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience with this company. They are attentive and quick but purposefully inaccurate and upselling on unneeded repairs and equipment.  We had our AC ducts cleaned. After water started leaking from our ceiling directly under the unit in the attic only 3 weeks after the cleaning and being told we needed a additional outside unit repairs at $300 and a new coil that would cost us $3,000 we got a second opinion. And there is nothing wrong with the coil or the unit.  There even appears to be purposeful mishandling of our AC to cause the leak. We will also report to better business bureau.  I feel taken advantage of and swindled.  Please beware of bait and switch. And stay with the technician if you do hire them.  I did not. Lesson learned.

They responded promptly, and I had a quote the next day and AC installed two days later.  Dakota, Roland, and Billy were all very polite and personable.  They explained all that they had done in terms I could understand.  They cleaned up their mess afterwards, and even vacuumed.  Overall I had a great experience with Xtreme Air.

My last review was taken down. I assume many similar reviews have been taken down, and that's why Joe has all 5 stars.

Just reiterating, this man stole money from me. 3400 dollars for a tunnel he never dug, to a slab leak that the plumber who fixed my CLOG could find no trace of. North Dallas. He agreed to pay me back nearly a week ago, then stopped taking calls, or replying to texts.

DO NOT call these people!  I have a clogged sink - it has happened before and I had it done for $120.  So I thought it would be in the ball park.  These people would not give an estimate over the phone, AND they charge a $89.95 trip charge (waived if you do the service).  With a $50 off online special they quoted me $321!  I kicked them out on their asses and refused to pay the trip charge.  I have since recieved an online quote of $175 from a company who will come out for a free no obligation estimate.  NEVER use AJ's - these people are out to rip you off - anyone will give you a better price than they will!

Yes they respond fast but they do not stand behind their parts. 4 years ago they put in a freeze proof outdoor faucet at $300. only 4 years fora $300 faucet?? Then I was told that they could could replace @ $297.

They require %100 payment before the city inspection is complete. The plumbers are great though.

Stop, call Drain Dr (972-372-4637) instead of Roto-Rooter.  They charge for a drain clean out and told me that a tech would come out to also do a camera inspection.  The camera inspection never got scheduled.  When I called to schedule, I was told someone would get back to me.  The dispatcher told me the camera inspection was part of the service at no additional charge.  The original tech that performed the drain clean misrepresented the services and attempted to charge me $100 more.  My intent was to call Drain Dr, but since he was here, I allowed him to clean the drain.  Won't make that mistake again.  Still waiting on the camera inspection.  Don't fall for the 6-month guarantee promise either.
