I contacted My Local Plumber after seeing them on Yelp. They were friendly over the phone and were able to get me into their busy schedule to fix my Hot water leak Expansion tank which was leaking. They were reasonable with their prices and had it repaired quickly. I would use them again.

Michael came out so quickly and got the job done even in 100+ temps, working late into the evening. Very hard worker. I definitely recommend The Handyman's Daddy.

Although we went ahead with a different company, we had a wonderful experience getting estimates and having Rhonda come out. They were responsive via yelp and set up an estimate right away. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional, she was also very responsive and although they offered a great price, we proceeded with another company that was lower

This was our first experience with Legacy Plumbing, but it won't be our last. We were so impressed! Ahndre was professional, prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and informative. He repaired our broken shower valve perfectly. Thank you Legacy Plumbing, and especially Ahndre. Our son is enjoying hot water in his shower once again, and we are so thankful!

Pathetic unprofessional service. Asked for a quote on very simple items and after visiting my house to look at each one I received the most laughable quote I have ever seen. They actually charge $275 to install a simple sink faucet that the customer provides. I asked how they calculate the $275 because I know that takes about 20 min which implies an hourly rate of $825 and they dodged the question and said we charge by the job. Wow just wow. RIPOFF ALERT! I said is that your only rationale and the woman I spoke with was incredibly snobby and rude and said yes. So I said I was just giving you a chance to explain before I posted your quote on yelp and she panicked and said oh wait on hold I'm brand new this is my first week blah blah blah (all lies), I will get the owner hold on. So I wait on hold. No owner shows up then she says the owner will call me I said ok sure. Did the owner ever call me? Nope. Radio silence. Just pathetic.
DO NOT HIRE THESE SCAMMERS!
Update: Owner calls me unannounced on saturday morning, I asked why didn't you call me yesterday as your manager told me you would? He says I was busy. Then I ask him please explain to me how you estimate a sink faucet install at $275. How long, what hourly labor cost etc. He says how much should it cost and then starts screaming at me. WOW just WOW. This is how you treat your customers?!?!! NO thanks pal.

I can't recommend these guys enough. We called at 1:00 on a Wednesday afternoon, they were at our house in 30 minutes and had everything repaired that afternoon. And this wasn't just a small toilet issue, we had a very heavy flow of water leaking from upstairs through the ceiling. A lot plumbing services charge an arm & a leg for any kind of decent service, but AAA Auger was very well priced for such quality & professional work. Their crew was friendly and extremely careful in the house. They also recommended a great water damage restoration company that turned out to be a fantastic referral. Thanks AAA AUGERS!!!

Not good. Scheduled an appointment with them and the day of the appointment they told me that I am out of service range. Also, Told me the tech showed up to an apartment and to reach out to my maintenance person. I own the townhouse and do not have the luxury of a maintenance person. Will not recommend.

As a life-long DIY guy I seriously considered replacing and moving my own water heater; my now very bad back and the Dallas Code requirement for a permit (meaning a licensed plumber) said NO!
My lowboy water heater, located under the stairs to the garage, wasn't supplying enough hot water for two morning showers. To increase capacity required a move 6 feet to the other side of the plumbing wall and into the garage.
I purchased a Rheem Platinum 50 gallon from HomeDepot and thought I'd use their plumbing service, advertised at $298 for installation. A total non-starter! Only the most basic replacement job of a same-size heater in the same location using the existing plumbing is possible for that price. Everything else is extra cost at same-day emergency rates.
Not being in an emergency I took my time. Professor Plumb I found through their excellent Yelp reviews. Other plumbers I sourced through Home Advisor and similar sites. This part was disappointing experience in that pricing varied wildly, and as a group, they were either ignorant of the Dallas Plumbing Code (I've read it) or were being deliberately misleading to run up my bill.
Professor Plumb was great right from the start. Clearly they've read the plumbing code and I was comfortable that they were straightforward, honest people. Blue spoke with me on the phone and organized my job. His partner Brian actually did the work. Both were knowledgeable, polite and transparent about their pricing.
Professor Plumb charged a standard, all-inclusive fee of $648 for my water heater installation. Quotes from others were as high as $1,200.
The work was done efficiently, properly and was completed at a fair price by Professor Plumb. I will certainly be using them again. And I recommend them to you.
BTW, after engaging them to do the job I found that I could have purchased the same Rheem heater through them instead of HomeDepot and at exactly the same price. Now that I know them that's exactly what I would do.

This is a great company. Our A/C downstairs unit stopped working and we were dreading the price. I set up the appointment through Yelp messaging and it was super easy. My mom was the one who met them and she said they were on-time and really nice. A belt broke, so it was an easy fix at a good price. I would definitely recommend using this company!

I have used Tierney Plumbing twice. Once to replace 2 water heaters and once to replace a kitchen garbage disposal. From initial quotes, to timeliness, to quality of work performed, Tierney's service is stellar.
Today was the icing on the cake. I noticed a leak at our water meter, called Tierney and Jennifer suggested I call the city's water department and have them come out before Tierney to ensure the issue is not the city's responsibility. I did so, but within 15 minutes Jason from Tierney's also dropped by as a courtesy at no cost as he was in the area. He quickly identified the leak as coming from our irrigation main line. Tierney advised me that it would be less expensive to repair thru an irrigation company and provided a recommendation.
In summary, Tierney has the highest level of integrity and efficiently completes jobs at reasonable rates. They will be our plumbing company as long as we remain in the area and I recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

Luis performed an excellent job with installing new duct work and a vent hood. The cost was reasonable and he was able to complete the project in a timely manner. I would recommend this company for your next home project.

Great experience, my go-to plumbers from now on. I was ankle deep in shower water and had a couple of sinks that were draining slow. James was great, very clean and expedient. Cleared all my drains and everything is flowing quickly now. Even had him rooter my main drain for peace of mind, hadn't been done the whole 6 years we've lived here. Very fair and competitive price. Thank you Kathlyn and HEB Plumbing!

Gavin came and did a thorough job. He arrived a little ahead of schedule. He trouble shot the system to identify the source of the problem. I appreciate his clear communications and one can tell he has the knowledge to do this work. I strongly recommend this company and specifically Mr. Gavin should you need some assistance in the HVAC area. Thank you again.

We called A1 yesterday evening because our air conditioner wasn't cooling and we were looking for someone to come out same day. We have an almost one year old son and, for his sake, felt time was of the essence. A quick google search showed that they had a reasonable service charge for an after 6 pm service request. Our unit is fairly old and the technician told our only option was to replace the whole system. He even said that some parts are no longer available, some are now illegal, and any we could get would cost as much as a new system by the time the repairs were done. He provided a quote over $10k for a new unit with no cost breakdown and no other options to chose from. The only option provided was for how long we wanted to finance. He answered our questions with very directed answers to sway us towards purchasing the unit he recommended but not really answering the question. We decided to get a second opinion this morning and ended up having one part replaced and 2 gallons of Freon added. Total cost was less than $350 and our house is nice and cool! While the A1 tech was able to come quickly and the service call cost was reasonable, we saved 97% by getting a second opinion. Really wish I had checked out the reviews before wasting our time and money last night!

When our air conditioning went out about a month ago, we had nice enough weather that I was able to spend a couple of days to find the best A/C system value. After quotes from several A/C dealers in the area, I found Xtreme Air Services gave me the best overall quote, which was both reasonable and for a unit that was well-sized to my home. Lindel could not have been more friendly and informative during the process, and his team were professional and did a great job on the install! I would recommend Xtreme Air Services again to any of my family and friends.
Update: The safety switch on my A/C was triggered a few days ago because of a clog in our drainage lines (unrelated to the new install). Samuel came out on his lunch break and spent two hours to find the clog and fix the problem. He didn't charge us because of the recent A/C install. This is how you build a long-term customers, and we plan to engage Xtreme Air in the future.

They are quick to take your money but not quick to return your call if there is an issue. I called to get my AC unit working and the cane out refilled the Freon but a few days later the unit started making weird noises and a leak began. I have been calling everyday and the only time I got a response I was told they were backed up so we scheduled for the next day and they no showed and when I called I got another we are backed up excuse. Then he had a friend reach out to me to say he could come and look at my AC unit but I needed to pay his service charge. So rather than dealing with an issue that a customer has they are blowing me off, avoiding my calls, and trying to pass me on to another company.
