Best Range Installation in Irvine CA
I had a bad smell coming from the bottom of my kitchen sink and called Prodigy Plumbing. Prodigy did a great job replacing our line going out to the sewer main a few years ago, so I was confident of their services. Jerry R. came out to my house to fix the smell and he did not disappoint.
Jerry was courteous and thoroughly completed the job while explaining the repairs in the process. I asked him to take a look at another issue I had and he professionally repaired that, as well.
The job that Jerry completed reaffirmed my decision to keep prodigy Plumbing as my go-to plumbers.

The quick and fast, Ixtapa Construction is the best general contracting company I've had the pleasure to work with (I've worked with 3-4 over the last decade). I completely gutted a 4 bedroom, 2..5 bath, 2100 sq. ft. home we just purchased and Jay did it while handling timing pressure from my then 7-month-pregnant wife who was hesitant to even make the purchase, knowing the work it needed.
As the founder/President, Jay is a consummate professional (a rarity in this business), and a true craftsman. His Partner, Alex is also great to work with and keeps things organized and coordinated with all the moving pieces of a construction project. Most important to me is that Jay and his team takes pride and ownership in their work. Jay treated our construction project as if it was his own home. He takes the time to make sure things are done right, the first time. Moving forward, I'll always reach out to Jay first about my remodeling and home improvement needs before going out and interviewing/reviewing other contractors. Through my remodel, I'm fortunate enough to connect with someone who I've gotten to know and trust as my advisor for home remodeling and repair-related needs.
The longer version: We closed on our home in January of this year (2019). We knew we were going to completely gut and remodel the home. We didn't change the exterior (no additions) but all things interior of the home were to be redone. From all new water pipes to new electrical, new HVAC system, new 2.5 bathrooms and a new kitchen from the ground up including new flooring throughout.
This is our 2nd remodel of homes we are to live in, so it wasn't a completely new venture for us. The first remodel, I worked directly with a few tradesmen and oversaw/project managed the job myself. But this time around, with a newborn on the way and a 3 year old, I didn't have the time so we had to find a good GC that was fair, reasonable and accountable to work with. In total, we met about a dozen General Contractors (local via Yelp, Craigslist, HomeAdvisors, Houzz, you name it).
I first spoke with Alex by phone and then met with Jay at the house. Needless to say, he was on-time and professional. When we were ready to make a decision, we narrowed it down to Ixtapa and another construction company. I regretfully admit, we went with the other company first. The reason was that the initial bid was missing a few elements. I wish I had just went back and asked him to revise before making a decision. Truthfully, in my conversations with Jay, I had a good feeling. But we all make mistakes... The other company turned out to be a massive disaster (if you want more info, please reach out to me).
My initial timeline was the beginning of March for the home to be move-in ready. We started work on January 6th. By February 6th the house was all gutted, but nothing was being put back together. We started to get concerned as we were about 22 days out from when the house needed to be move-in ready. I got the typical contractor runaround and because I needed to be swift, I terminated the agreement. I had very low tolerance for a bad situation to get worse.
But since our initial meeting last December (2018) Jay stayed in touch with me and he actually followed with me to see how things were going.
I reached back out to Jay (at this point, under immense timing pressure) to see if he can help. He was able to get me on the calendar and get started in a week.
Ever since then, the house came together. And while I made changes to things and added things, he was very accommodating and did what he could to help us out.
Again, incredibly grateful to have met Jay and work with Ixtapa Construction. No job is too small for them, he's an honest craftsman that has a construction-framing background (so he can build a house from scratch if needed!) If he can't do something, he'll tell you. But overall, I'm incredibly happy with his service, professionalism and is the type of person you feel comfortable having around your family (which is also very important). And his team of craftsmen are great to work with too.
His pricing is fair, but through my own experience, you get what you pay for in this industry. Often times, you get low bids so they can come in and start the work, only to not finish or worse, cause damages. Talk to Alex/Jay, they'll work with you.
I will update this review with photos shortly.

On late Wednesday night I noticed that my downstairs bathroom was leaking water from beneath it. I original thought that it might just be a clogged toilet so I hit it with the plunger only to see more water leak out and when I saw that my shower next to it was also retaining water I thought the worst. That I had a clogged drain. So I did what I could to mitigate anymore water leakage. I got on Yelp and started looking for a local reliable plumber that wasn't going to try to price gouge me. I found several but since it was after hours I couldn't get a hold of anyone so I sent some messages.
Clean-Out Kings was one of the first ones to respond to me so I waited until the morning and I called them. They were not only happy to come right away but they also didn't charge for an inspection like some others wanted too. By 9:30 am their best plumber Frank showed up with his handy assistant. It took Frank a few minutes to tell me what I was most fearing. That my main was clogged up. Immediately I thought how much is this going to cost. Frank took his time to figure out the best way to tackle my problem and after explaining my options to me I went ahead and hired them to do the job. This one got messy because they had to dig in my front yard about 5 feet down so they could find my main and use a hydro jet to clean it out. It was a big dirty job that took them all day but in the end I had no more clogged drain and no sewer back up in my home. I would gladly call Clean-Out Kings again for any of my plumbing problems as long as the can send Frank.

He came to our house today to fix bathtub drain and removed a under sink water filter. He was very polite and helpful. I know a plumber could charge so much just to show up but he was extremely reasonable and tried to work with you. Highly recommend his service.

They came on time for my refrigerator installation appointment at 9AM. During the whole process, they were polite, professional and careful since the space is kind of tight. They finished everything in about an hour and the refrigerator looks perfect after the installation. For anyone that has need to any major appliance installation and is looking for someone who has impeccable skills I would definitely recommend them. Good job Installation Pros and appreciate everything.

From the initial call to customer service for an appointment to speaking with Dillon and Jeremy S and his team working on our major plumbing issue they were all wonderful! I was extremely impressed with the companies service, explanation and work on our house. I will definitely call them again!

The trap under the urinal was leaking in the men's restroom at my business. I called Friday 2/25. A plumber came out and replaced the trap at a cost of $600! It took him 1-1/2 hours. The next day it was leaking again. I called Monday. It took four days for a plumber to come back. I assumed it would be under warranty, but it wasn't. The Plumber that came out said there would be another charge. I asked why I am paying again for the same repair? The plumber told me the fitting on the urinal that connects to the tailpiece/ trap was broken. I told him, clearly it wasn't fixed correctly the first time, or the first Plumber caused the damage. The Plumber told me I don't know, since I wasn't here the first time. In hindsight, I see the strategy of not sending the Plumber that made the original repair. The Plumber told me it would be another $460 to make the repair again! So, after two service calls, $960, the urinal drain was repaired. Not sure if the Company is unethical, or simply lacks qualified service personnel, or a little of both. On a positive note, the second Plumber told me I have another warranty. I am sure the second warranty is as good as the first one I got! I might put them on e-Bay and see what they are worth!

My wife and I have been using DC Drains for many years for all of our plumbing needs including annual snaking of our drains and installing a new water heater. DC Drains never fails to provide excellent plumbing service. When it was time for the big project, re-plumbing of our 1964 house, it was an easy choice to select DC Drains for the job. Special thanks to Ian and Ismael who did the re-plumbing job the very last week of November, 2018. Excellent work and Ismael always did a great job leaving our house clean at the end of each day's work. DC Drains has never failed to provide us with great service at fair prices. I highly recommend DC Drains for any type of plumbing need in OC.

I have been using Superior Plumbing for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. All of their plumbers are dependable and do top notch work. The types of work I've had done ranged from quite small to complicated jobs taking multiple days to complete.

I had to get a plumber over the weekend for an emergency situation and i was dreading it. i called several places but i ended up going with this company . Their professionalism and cleanliness were outstanding, and I really appreciated that all the work was checked and made sure that it was working before leaving. ive had other repair/plumbing companies and they have sometimes just left a job completely unfinished. i cant say enough about this company. try them!

I called MDTech to fix my old cooktop which did not ignite the burners. Paul investigated it and concluded it was beyond repair. i asked him to replace it with a new model that he recommended. Two days later he came with a new cooktop in a box. Unfortunately it turned out to be the wrong model. Apparently the sender sent the wrong cooktop. After waiting a week until he had the correct model. he came and installed it without any problems. It is a beautiful GE 5 burner stainless steel cooktop. I am very impressed with the quality of the cooktop as well as Paul's installation. The only hitch was the mistaken model. Therefore I am rating 4 stars. The delay should have been avoided.
