Best Floor Repair in Houston TX

We are EXTREMELY happy with the work that Hugo did for us. He installed an outdoor awning and overhead garage storage for us in one afternoon. He made sure to involve us in all the set up specifications (how deep for the storage, what angle for the awning, etc.)

My husband called City & Beyond Handymen after finding them on Yelp. Geovanny the business owner stopped by and fixed multiple light fixtures and went above and beyond in addressing other issues he saw that would need fixing. He never once pressured for it to get done nor did he charge extra for his great insight and advice. We really appreciate Geovanny's honesty and will for sure reach out to him when we are ready for more upgrades! He is a hard working person that can problem solve any handyman situation that may arise. Don't hesitate to give him a call!!

Shawn Hampton was referred to me by a local real estate agent to help me get my water turned back on and check for leaks after the 2021 Big Freeze. Shawn texted me and arrived shortly thereafter in a proper plumber's panel van (not a pickup truck.) He was professional in appearance and demeanor, knowledgeable and able to show me what was going on and explain what should be done. He suggested repairs and repair parts, and I elected to fix everything that needed fixing. He did extensive work replacing burst or leaking pipes and was able to, somewhat miraculously, dislodge some built up of rust from inside my galvanized steel pipes that was causing lower than usual water pressure on the hot side of my kitchen sink. (I thought we might have to re-pipe that whole area, which would have been an extensive repair.)  

Shawn charged notably less than I would have paid one of the bigger Houston plumbing companies. I've used many of the more recognizable names here over 35 years, so I'm confident in my assessment on this point.

My understanding is Shawn is a LICENSED MASTER PLUMBER with 14 years of experience, some in California but most in Texas working for one of Houston's major plumbing companies before striking out on his own. It is also my understanding that Shawn has a limited service area at this time, generally in and around Houston's West Loop -- but check with him on that.

I am so happy I found a handy man that knows his stuff. I called them the day before thanksgiving, and he was able to come the same day, I had another appointment with someone else, and he canceled on me after my appointment time of 10 am. I searched on yelp, called, he answered straight away, and was over at 5. He took off his shoes, without me even asking, gold star there. Then after seeing what jobs I needed, quoted me, and got to work right away. He was so honest, his prices were very fair, and he took his time. I highly recommend them!

I had 6 responses to my query about an inside wooden  door not latching..
Richard from Patriot Services. was the first to respond and was available within 24 hours.
The quoted price from Richard was  amongst the more reasonable ones.
He arrived timely and corrected the latching problem in a jiffy.
He also gave me reasonable quotes for other tasks I asked him about.
He tells me that he is licensed in HVAC, Electrical and plumbing.
He also does Remodelling.
I will call upon him again, when needed.

Foundation repair is 2016 ...
Good Job of my basement repair good price. lower than other options for foundation repair did their best to do the job correctly.

Their office person was good to work with, but they hire out with local plumbers. The guy they sent tried to charge me for 2 hours- he was there less than 1. He said it was based on the time they left the shop. I pointed out he would have to have left the shop 45 minutes before I called them in order to hit 2 hours. He also charged me $30 for parts claiming the ones I bought wouldn't work, but having priced the parts the night before, there's no way they cost more than $10. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I'm very satisfied with these guys. I called them yesterday evening and the were here this morning. Very knowledgeable and professional. Reasonable prices and polite service. You won't be disappointed!

The guys were prompt and courteous. They did a quick and thorough job. They didn't have a credit card machine, but accepted a check. They also gave a veteran discount which we always respect
