Economy Plumbing & Heating Company

Woke up this morning, to our sewer being backed up, from the roots of our tree. We called several plumbing companies, knowing to steer clear of Roto Rooter (heard nothing but bad reviews for them). Economy Plumbing said they'd be able to come out and fix it today. They called before they arrived. Once here the plumber was able to remedy our problem quickly. Very pleased with the time it took and the reasonable cost, especially given it was a Saturday. I would recommend them, without reservation.

So my mom made me promise to Yelp these guys. She RAVES about them all the time. I don' t have much personal experience, but I will tell you what I do know. They are super nice, knowledgeable, and cheaper than others for specialty made stuff.

Personally, I remember them because of something that happened in SC. My downstairs shower quit putting out hot water :( So, I called a plumber who charged me $30 to come out and then quoted me $1500.

So, I called my mom who called these guys. I wasn't able to convey exactly what was wrong, but I got across enough of the point for them to know the problem was most certainly not a $1500 problem.

Here is where their awesomeness comes in.

The guy offers to come to SC to fix the shower FOR LESS THAN THE SC PLUMBER QUOTED!!! Wow. That is customer service. I ended up calling maintenance at my job and one of them came and did it (also the guy from Economy Plumbing and Heating's idea). Anyways, it ended up costing $100 ish plus parts. But, these guys were willing to go above and beyond to help me out, and they had a great solution to my plumber problem.

My mom also says that they have things other places don't and they can make some stuff too. Basically she loves this place.

Go there, buy things, share the love.

I've been coming here for decades. Reliable services, affordable products, knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Our furnace was acting weird I called that day and they came as soon as I was off work at 4:30. Our furnace is working great! And the price was great!

I have used this company on several occassions and have always been more than satisfied with the quality of work, the price, and how fast they can get to me when I need them.  They are great, super friendly.  I highly recommend them.

Just had them in on Monday November 27, 2017.  Arrived when they said they would, they called ahead to let me know they were coming.  I needed some new water lines added to a basement build.  Called others first, who insisted on sending someone in a few weeks to give me an estimate first, then sending actual plumbers after that.  Called Economy, told them on the phone what I wanted done and was going to do the work.  They scheduled me on the date I requested.

The work was done professionally and the price was fair with all parts charged for listed on the invoice.  Learned my lesson.  Would call Economy first.

They know my voice now!  I use them for heating cooling water purufication filters.  Fast reacting. Helpful. Friendly.  Not cheap but one and done. In downtown baddn. Old timey excellent.

Had a tech visit for an annual furnace inspection in the late fall before ramping up usage for the winter. He was on time, friendly, cleaned/tightened a few things, and gave me some quick pointers on its operation (like what the flashing light sequences mean; it's a Tempstar unit).

Cost was $85 and the visit was 20-25 mins. Would hire them again.

Main water in basement was clogged.  Couldn't run water or flush toilet.  Of course this happened on a Sunday.  First thing Monday (12-23-19) I called and said they may be able to get to my house today.  I called back and said it would be a quick fix, they have been to my house for the same issue.  They said they would stop at our house first.  I am so thankful.  They were a blessing to me today.  Won't call anyone else for my plumbing needs.

We had a few shower/faucet minor issues that needed looked at. I was really pleased with the guy. Everything is working much better now, and he gave us some pointers and explained what the source of the problems were.  Friendly, knowledgeable...Would use them again!

I called a week ago about a leak in my kitchen and was told that I would hear from them. I still have to keep the water to my kitchen sink turned off because I've yet to get a call to schedule anything.
