Clogged toilet on a Sunday night with a house full of guests! Turned to yelp for answers and you guys didn't let me down!

These guys have an answering service, which is awesome. Plumber called me back 5 minutes after my call and gave me estimates over the phone for the work and an option to come out immediately or by 730 the next morning. His after hours rate was totally reasonable but I chose the next day option.

He was out as promised by 730am, fixed the problem quickly, was professional and pleasant. He did a thorough job and charged a reasonable price (285$).  They take plastic or check.  

He also gave an assessment of what could be the root cause of the problem which matched exactly what someone from the township said. He gave a fair estimate for that job as well.  Overall, excellent service at a fair price! Bueno!

I cannot say enough good things about this company. I had a major (at least to me) plumbing issue on a Saturday morning. I called around and most said that they could be out to take a look in 48 hours. In a moment of desperation, I called D. Burgo- they are local but I was not familiar with them. My call was answered in the first ring- less than an hour later Drew (one of the owners) was at my house. He was polite, pretty cool, didn't mind my questions and swiftly solved my problem at a price that was more than fair- it was a steal. I've now deleted every other plumber from my Rolodex (for you young folks, that's like your phone's contacts) and Drew is my guy- hopefully not too often, though :)

Winter of 2019 we had a gas leak behind our dryer. D Burgo was called the next day and they came that morning an repaired the leak. At the time I appreciated the speed at which the responded and the bill was reasonable. I woke up this morning and went to my basement and the smell of gas was present again. After calling the gas company it turns out the connection that was fixed less then two years ago was leaking again.

I am not sure of the reason but they used only tape on the threads of my gas line piping and did not use any pipe dope. This just screams sloppy work with a lack of attention to detail.

They won't be back in my house.

The guy that came out was very good. Am very nice guy. But to charge me 600.00 because it was a Friday night to replace three turn off values I think was high way robbery for sure.  I really need it done because it was leaking and I was having a party today. But that was not right to charge me 600.00 and tell me 250.00 to come out to put a ice maker filter on that I had to get at HD.  I wouldn't call them again. The worker was very nice. But too too much money.

Excellent work by Dan, shady business practices by the owner.

While Dan was at my house servicing my water heater, he noticed a leak in the wall of my house. Turns out it was a homeowners-sized issue, and I will forever be grateful to Dan for finding it when he did. Dan is professional, knowledgeable, and kept me informed of everything he was doing before he started the work.

My issue is with the billing process -- my bills from D. Burgo have always had a lump-sum amount. I don't know what I paid for parts. So now that I need to submit a receipt to my insurance company, I need to know what part of that particular visit was dedicated to discovery so I can apply it to my deductible.

When I called, I was told (twice and very clearly) that I would only be supplied with an itemized receipt if I hire D. Burgo to complete the work required to fix the leak. In other words, my itemized receipt is being held hostage until I hire them for further work.

In one phone call, I have gone from recommending D. Burgo to everyone I know to warning friends and family about them.

I called for simple completion of toilet repair and right off the said 205.00 just to come out! I can get a new toilet for that much.

Called and spoke to Drew at 930pm for a leaking water heater. He walked us through on the phone how to turn it off so as not to flood entire basement and then he was out to our home by 730am the very next morning to fix it. Highly impressed and recommend to those in the area.

I called at 10 am and had a leaky faucet fixed by 11 am. Quick and easy. Thank you!

Called about 9:30pm last night (Friday) & they were able to come out at 7am this morning (Saturday).  Drew was on time, very nice, efficient & professional. He explained everything & the price was good. Job took about an hour & would've been even less time if he didn't have to run back to his shop for a part. I would definitely call them again in the future.

We had a recurring issue with our main sewer line in our new home.  After using another plumbing company for the initial fix we were referred to D Burgo by neighbors of ours when it was determined we would have to replace the sewer line.  Drew talked me through the process for replacing the line, and was able to provide me a quote same day.  The price was much lower than what we were quoted by the first [larger] plumbing company we worked with, and Drew took the weight of permits and gas/electric company contact off our hands as well.
The day of the work, Drew and his team arrived early in the morning and were extremely efficient with digging the 6-foot trench, replacing the sewer line, and re-filling the trench.  All in, it took about about 6-7 hours! The final price was exactly what Drew had quoted me, and was very fair considering the work done.
Overall, Drew was a pleasure to work with - he and his team were professional, prompt, and fair which went a long way with us during a stressful situation.  We will definitely be using D Burgo for any future plumbing or HVAC/heating/cooling needs!

I was able to use D Burgo for some recent plumbing repairs and was pleasantly surprised. I was initially told I would have to wait a week but the next morning they were able to fit us in their schedule. Their plumber that visited us was very courteous to us and respectful of our house which doesn't always happen.  They truly seemed to want us to be totally happy with them start to finish! We are a happy customer with D Burgo!

Dan was absolutely AWESOME and a pleasure to do business with!  He arrived 15 minutes early and ready to go.  He was quick, efficient and very nice.  The dishwasher installers can right in and said beautiful work and popped that thing right in.  He has definitely earned a new loyal customer!!!  Great job Dan and thanks again!!!!

Wish I could rate their actual service. I was in desperate need for a plumber. I called on March 6th and asked if someone could provide me with an estimate for both main water and sewer line replacement. A woman picked up and took my message. She insisted someone would call me right back. Fast forward to today, March 10th. No one called me back.

I'm not sure what happened, but communication failed. I'd assume they'd jump on a $5,000+ job but i guess they want easier/faster jobs.

Called D Burgo Plumbing for an issue with my sewer line.  Dan was assigned and came out and cleared the line out to the main.   Dan was professional and courteous.  Even had a drop cloth he put down in my foyer to not track dirt into the house.  Dan kept me abreast of what was going on all along the way.  First class company and first class service.   Highly recommend them.

We called D. Burgo because we were having some draining issues. Within about an hour of calling the main office, Dan came out to help us. He was professional, kind, and took the time to determine the issue. He explained every step and how to prevent the issue from happening in the future. We also asked him to install a garbage disposal which he did flawlessly and as mentioned in previous reviews he used a drop cloth and was very clean. Dan answered every question we had and we will definitely be using him and D. Burgo in the future as this is a company that cares about providing a superior service. Highly recommended.

I don't like to give bad reviews, but our first (and final) experience with them is that they failed to show up for a between 8AM and 10AM appointment.

I don't mind the no-show (it's hard to predict how long each plumbing job will take) but they never even called to say they we running late. That's unprofessional.

I finally called them at 10:30AM and let them know not to bother coming. Maybe they do good work, but ya actually have to show up first, you know?

Edit: Changed my review from 1 star to 2 stars. I decided 1 star reviews should be saved for plumbers that actually flood your house or accidentally install a toilet instead of a dishwasher.

Let me preface this by saying I did not hire D. Burgo Plumbing, this review is simply in regard to their honesty.  

Friday night I notice a drip in the condensation line to my HVAC unit.  It seemed bad enough by Saturday morning, that I started getting quotes from Plumbers/HVAC Repair.  It was outrageous what some of the others were asking, simply to come out and give an estimate.  D. Brugo was the third company I called.  I explained the problem to their Tech named Drew, expecting more of the same, but he told me very honestly that I could probably fix the problem myself.  In layman's terms, he explained what to do with patience and respect.  I just did it.  So far, the results look good.

You hear of people taken advantage of in times of trouble by unethical service providers.  This is not such an organization.

Amazing service. Called answering service just prior to opening time this morning. I received a call back from Drew within 5 minutes and arrived at my home within a half hour to start service. Drew was incredibly courteous and friendly and immediately attacked our drain clog and corrected it as quickly as possible.
It was refreshing to have a service company truly understand what that means. I will keep this number on hand for future incidents and would recommend highly for emergency service. Thank You

We moved into a fixer upper and are so grateful to Drew and his team for getting everything up to date and correcting issues all over the house. We recently had a flood and Drew was there right away fixing the leak. They always show up on time and pricing is always as quoted. Professional and responsible, will definitely use again!

Nothing like a stopped up tub, toilet and bathroom sink to send you into a plumber looking frenzy. A one bathroom household will put a match under your ass after all.

I have never used anyone out here so after a quick hunt on Google, I came across D. Burgo. SO GLAD I DID.

Let me tell you why these guys are the business....

Their answering service took down my info and less than 4 minutes later I had a phone call from him, while he was at a dental appointment. Dude! That is some serious dedication and customer service right there.

After a brief explanation of my problem he said he would have someone at my place in 20. *Ring* yes, that is my doorbell.

Plumber #1 is handling it, then the other guy shows up right after his dental appointment. Seriously.

From the time I called to the time they left? No more than 2 hours. Main sewer line cleared, everything is right in our lavatory world once more. Sweet!

These guys not only understand the sense of urgency that comes with plumbing nightmares but they were quick, nice, legit, honest and took care of business like no plumbing service I have ever dealt with has.

In a day and age where customer service is full of fail, these guys were on point and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and neither should you. Use them, you'll thank me.

We used Burgo to dewinterize our new home (basically turning on the water at the sidewalk and making sure the water was running with no leaks...). This included filling up the hot water heater too.

My experience with Burgo was awesome. Drew, the son and co-owner was a pleasure to deal with. He came on time, was very personable and took the time to explain what he was doing, which as a new homeowner I appreciated immensely.

He also advised me on my heater which is nearing the end of its useful life, but not in the pushy way at all. He even suggested doing research with the Township regarding home efficiency credits for tankless heaters.

I'd reccomend Burgo to anyone. Side-note, their rate was better than the three other competitors I reached out to.

Really quick, super friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure everything was working at our office and did so quicker than I could have hoped for.

We had a great experience with D Burgo Plumbing. They replaced our garbage disposal and hot water heater. They were able to get us on the schedule and the job completed in just a couple of days of my initial call.  Drew Burgo was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed.  The plumber who arrived the date of the install was actually early - never happens - and very polite. He worked quickly and efficiently. We are very pleased and will certainly use D. Burgo Plumbing again - and recommend them highly.

We called on a Saturday morning for an emergency plumbing problem and Dan was here within an hour and did a wonderful job fixing the leaking pipes in our ceiling. We will definitely be using D Burgo for any future plumbing needs.

Burgo installed a new faucet/drain in our bathroom and a new garbage disposal and faucet/drain in our kitchen.  Dan arrived and completed the work in a prompt and professional manor.  He put drop cloths down to protect our carpet and hardwood floors.  Due to a new sink he had to reconfigure the drain and water lines.  Everything looks and works great.  Dan also took the time upon completion to make sure we were happy with the way everything looked.  They were very reasonable and fair with pricing.

This is our second time using them and we won't hesitate to use them for our next project.

These guys are absolutely the best! After my call was answered by their answering service they called back within 5 minutes. They came out at their lunch time and fixed my clogged line within 20 minutes and had everything cleaned up and packed up in 30.
They were more than reasonable price wise and I would highly recommend them.

I recently had a weekend delivery of a new refrigerator and dishwasher only to find out while installing that the ice maker line in the house had been severed and the dishwasher line was a bad fit for the new unit.  With friends coming over for a Sunday afternoon bbq, I needed a reliable, no-hassle plumber who could make a quick fix within 24 hours.  
After doing some research, I called D. Burgo Saturday evening and was contacted almost immediately by Drew who assessed my needs and accommodated us with a Sunday morning appointment.  Drew was right on time, knew exactly what I needed to finish my installation, and built in a nice clean solution in no time.  These guys definitely know how to satisfy their customers, and do it for a very reasonable price.  This is one number I plan to keep close for any future plumbing needs!

I had a main line clogged at my house. There was water in basement. I called the answering service and received a phone call back from the owner in 5 minutes. And that was on a Sunday.

I was more than willing to pay Sunday rates, but the owner told me they were high (understandable) and someone could be at my house at 7am Monday morning.

Drew showed up at 7am. Friendly and courteous. Main line cleared within 2 hours. Reasonable price.

I appreciated D. Burgo. Professional, fast, reasonably priced. They seem to be running a tight ship. Give them a call.

Huuuuuuge shout out to D Burgo Plumbing and Heating and specifically to Danny M., who is now my forever plumber! Called back in the time the receptionist said he would, showed up right away and went above and beyond to clean out the main without leaving a giant mess in my basement for me to clean up!  I have a recurring problem with my main line and have been down this road enough times to know exactly what's wrong with it, so it's been super frustrating to have a certain giant rooter service send out teenagers (no offense, teenagers) to dismiss whatever I'm trying to tell them AND stand around scratching their heads AND end up making a giant-- and I mean gargantuan, horrific-- mess AND leave it there when they go AND (here's the punch line, folks) charge me TWICE, and I mean fully twice, what D Burgo did.  Icing on the cake was Danny said some very sensible things about preventing a recurrence of said problem.  Needless to say, when I'm ready to take the plunge and fix it once and for all, I know who I'm calling... the same person I'm calling periodically to keep it down to a dull roar in the interim.  So solid.

D.Burgo just finished gutting the lead pipes in our house.  They did a great job!  Their estimate was fair, they have a great work ethic, and left a clean workspace.  We will call them again for future needs and happily refer them to our family and friends.  Thanks guys!

I called on a Thursday night and left a message with their receptionist, in less than 5 minutes the owner called me ready to schedule an appointment, Drew came the next morning and in less than 10 minutes, no more stopped up laundry sink. Not only was he professional, but he took the time to show us why we were having issues with clogging in the sink and shared easy and affordable prevention methods. Although I hated paying 100+bucks to clear both the sinks it was well worth it , these guys are great and I will be using them for any future mishaps. I also love knowing that the money I spend is going to a small business in my community.
