Ken did a great job on replumbing our house.  He was on schedule and showed up as planned.  We would highly recommend KTP for your home plumbing needs.

Ken Scott was the plumber on our brand new house. When a problem arose with our sump pump, I reached out to have him come take a look. Between my husband and I, we called almost a dozen times over 2 months and received NO answer. I even left a message stating that I'm new to the Portland area, if he can't help me could he please recommend someone else. NOTHING. Do not waste your time trying to get a hold of Ken at KTP Plumbing. Worthless and disappointing.

KTP Plumbing stands for Ken the Plumber. He is truly a great guy. He came out to help us, was respectful and professional, and cleared a strangely-configured, difficult drain for us in no time.

Once I knew how great he was, I noticed that every time one of my friends says she has a great plumber, it turns out she's talking about Ken the Plumber.

GREAT guy! And that means a lot. Usually when you've got a plumbing problem, you're under some stress, and you want to feel good about the person you invite into your home to fix it.

Ken is an honorable man who does a terrific job.  I have used him on several occasions.  You can count on him to respond promptly, be honest and he's even fun to be around.

This may be the most difficult review I've made on here... When I called for an estimate, Ken (the owner) came out almost right away.  He was quick, professional, informative and gave a VERY competitve quote.  Needless to say, he won my business.

However, after I called to schedule the appt, Ken forgot to write it down.  So 30 min after the scheduled time, I had to call him to remind him.  He was deeply apologetic, and told me 1pm, 115 at the latest, same day...

Fast forward to 220... yup, there's the knock on my door.  No call to let me know they were running late, nothing.   On the positive side, the plumber (not Ken, but one of his associates) was, as expected, quick, informative, very detail oriented and very friendly.  I felt completely comfortable with him in my home.

Overall, the quality of work wins out on this review, but rest assured KTP Plumbing, in the service industry, timing is EVERYTHING.

We have used Ken the Plumber and his team on many occasions.  Ken has always been very responsive.  Recently our water heater leaked and needed to be replaced.  We called Ken at 6:30 am and by 7:00 pm that evening we had a new water heater.

After being recommended by a friend, I reached out by phone to request an estimate.  A week later, still no reply.  I filled out the online form for a free estimate.  Another week later, no reply.  I left another voicemail another week later saying I was still looking for an estimate and this would be my third and last attempt.  More than a week later, still no reply so I'm moving on.

Ken the Plumber is just a really good guy.  He's busy and can be hard to get ahold of, but leave a message or two and he'll be sure to call you back.  Friendly, honest and does solid work.  Most of all he's just a really good person who is honest and values taking care of people.  If you want your needs met right now, a white suit and a business logo...Ken isn't for you.  If you want a real person, who does solid work and will do right by you then ring him for sure.

Ken is awesome.  He's very knowledgeable and skilled at his work, and he's really fun to have around.  I highly recommend him!

This is hard to write. KTP was wonderful years ago. Recently, several jobs have gone awry. A single repair required 6 visits, and it still isn't done. Each try got more bizarre (think-we need to turn off the cold water so your hot can run more freely). 20 or more calls went unanswered. I don't know what's going on, but it isn't good for anyone needing plumbing work done.
