TJ just left and I've added Best Price Plumbing to my list of three Portland contractors that I think are great and trust (FYI the other two are Hawthorne auto repair and 1201 Computer repair)
Easy to get an appt, TJ was fab, not just professional but sincerely caring and friendly. I explained to him my father wasn't a fix it guy and I wanted to know what he was doing, he talked me thru his thought process which was very helpful and stress reducing. He gave me some good advice and a L wrench, or whatever they're called to fix a jammed disposal.
The major problem was my spray hose that with. A little creativity is working great
These guys saved us this Sunday! No other place was open, called Best Price, and they were here in less than 4 hours. We had a flood of pretty gross water coming through the floor and bathroom. They diagnosed, remedied and then connected us with a restoration company to dry out our crawl space and repair our drywall.
TJ and team are awesome, and we will definitely use them again!
We had a pipe burst in our crawl space and TJ was able to come out a assess the situation. He was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them with any plumbing needs.9
We replaced our kitchen sink and needed water feed and drainage plumbing reconstructed, along with replacement of stuck water valves, and leaking lines to and from the dishwasher. Luther arrived on time and went to work immediately. He is very experienced, very entertaining and made quick work of it, along with doing an outstanding job. We were very pleased at his attention to detail and fast pace. He even unexpectedly cleared our drainage pipe to increase the sink drainage flow, which was not part of the original job. We would highly recommend Best Price Plumbing and Drain.
It's Murphy's Law that something is going to go south right before the holidays when you're expecting guests for dinner. We had a dryer go out, an ant infestation and then a water flow problem followed by a leak at our kitchen sink. All this the Monday before thanksgiving. Luckily Best Price answered the call. They came out less than 24 hours after making the call and told us upfront the cost of the visit. Not only did they fix the problem, they also fixed another problem they noticed while fixing the sink. We've added their number to our contacts so that if ever we have a project or another problem, we'll be sure to call Best Price! Responsive, Reasonably priced, honest and competent; everything you want in a contractor.
Our toilet in our high rise condo needed replacing, and Best Price Plumbing had the best bid among three recommended by Home Depot. So we went with them and were quite happy that the final bill was quite a bit less than the estimate. TJ was the guy they sent, he was great , prompt on arrival, no nonsense on the work, great clean up. Highly recommended.
I returned home only to see a flooded bathroom from the toilet. After phone consulting with a plumber, I was referred to best price for drain clean out to stop further sewage from backing into the house.
I called and explained the situation to the secretary who kept great communication with me through the day. Luther and another were able to make it out the same day during the time window provided and called me ~30min before arrival to confirm I was at home. It took them all of 20-30min and then the drain was clear, toilet no longer flooded and I was able to use water in the house again.
They were extremely friendly and thorough in their explanation. Awesome results and friendly peoples. I'd call them again if I needed plumbing assistance.
I would never use this company a day in my life completely rude, disrespectful, and would never want them in my home. I would 100% recommend finding any other plumbing company in the Northwest before I ever did business with these people.
They came, they saw, they fixed our problem! It was not something we wanted festering for several days (i.e., the other guys with their glowing reviews told me they would pencil me in for an appointment several days later). Best Price came out the same day we called, diagnosed and fixed our toilet issue in ample time and provided excellent service! As far as pricing goes, they seemed fair for their speedy service and scope of work completed. I would definitely recommend them!

It's been a few years but I was extremely pleased with this company! Not only was he incredibly thorough but aside from putting in a new garbage disposal he fixed a water purifier faucet with no extra charge.
A very good experience with a very nice person!
A little spendy, but what plumber isn't? They did a great job. My house was a flip and had some awful plumbing under the sink. They fixed it within a couple of hours and haven't had a single issue since. Would certainly call again.
Extremely disappointing service from these guys (primarily the owner, Luther). He backed out of a job for us when we needed his help. My contracted had secured the appointment and the work ahead of time, as a lot of coordination was needed within a multi-unit building. Quarreled with my contractor and gave no reason for denying the work that was needed. Angie's List should revoke the award given to them. Very poor and unprofessional business.

They must be called Best Price Plumbing because at $140 per hour with a minimum of one hour they get the most money from the customer as they can. Simple repair cost about twice as much as it should have. Keep shopping.

had an emergency with our water heater and Best Price was so helpful.
T.J. drove from S.E. Portland to our house in Beaverton and within an
hour or so we were back in business. He was fast, professional, and his team in the office are friendly and helpful.

Called for a quick quote and Crystal sent TJ that same day. Got a price that was comparable to other plumbers in the area for a whole house supply pipe replacement. I was able to schedule TJ right away. He did an excellent job - arrived on time, was clear about what needed to be done and why, changed his scope per my request on day 2, charged me for only the time he was here working, was neat as he could be about the holes he had to cut into the walls, floor, and cabinets, and cleaned up after himself. I would recommend Best Price and TJ to anybody.
Need a plumber? These guys are friendly and good. They responded promptly and resolved the issue quickly. Recommended highly.
Didn't use them. They charge $99 to come out and give a bid on a job that would be 2K plus. Just be aware.
