Established in 1985.We started in October 1985 and have had the pleasure of serving the Stillwater area ever since!

I went to work as an electrical apprentice in December 1978 after getting an Honorable Discharge from the United states Army.  I later joined the Local IBEW 1141 in Oklahoma City.  After completing the four years, I was awarded the Outstanding Apprentice for the local then for the State of Oklahoma. I went on to compete in the South States Apprenticeship Conference and placed second out of the thirteen states represented. After working as journeyman and forman for five and one-half years, I decided to take my Oklahoma Electrical Contractor test and passed it the first time in May 1985.  That let my wife and I to start Mid-Plains Electric Co., Inc. in October 1985. My wife has served as Secretary Treasurer for over 32 years. I have served as the Presdent from 1987 to the present.  We are a family owned business and happy to be working together to serve the Stillwater, Oklahoma area.
