Only Drains

I called Only Drains after we had detected a spongy blockage in the lawn drain that ran from downspout to the street.After I left my message, business owner Ken returned my call the next business day and set an appointment the  following afternoon. Received courtesy call 30 min before arrival. At the job, owner's son Casey promptly set up equipment, snaked  gutter lawn drain and used cutter blade to remove small ball of tree roots. Casey was precise in explaining/  completing  the work, and gave helpful information about dealing with the issue going forward.  Owner also stopped by to check on problem (he  had been  working nearby), saw it was being easily resolved by son and left. I was charged less than I had been quoted on the phone because the task did not take as much time as had been expected. We had not  asked for a reduction  and were pleasantly surprised by this company's honesty and fairness in charges.

Both father and son were polite, friendly and easy to work with.  We highly  recommend Only Drains and would definitely call them  if we have drain problems in the future.

These guys are not for emergencies, but they provide very affordable, high quality service if you have time to wait for them to get back to you.

I would highly recommend; Fingers crossed I won't need their services again, but if I do, they will be my 1st phone call.

Very poor response to calls. I have left three messages over a two week period and they do not call back. Very disappointed as they have done work for me in the past.

I have received services from (Ken Shaw and his sons) Only Drains for several years. It doesn't get any better than this. The honesty, integrity and hard work of this company is beyond words. They are wonderful as well the work performed.

As the other review said, it is never a good thing to need these guys.

I called and got a voicemail. The person Ken sounded like a great guy. He also gave his prices up front on the voicemail so there were no surprises.

He didn't show up at my house, his son did. I thought great, a young kid who is going to do a half *ssed job and leave a mess while being a disrespectful brat. I was pleasantly wrong. From the minute he walked in the door, he was great. We conversed about my dog, which would normally scare people coming in. We talked about the issue and he went right to work.

Fifteen minutes later, the kitchen sink was clear again. He even gave suggestions on keeping it that way.

He insisted upon cleaning up, even though I told him not to worry about it.

This was by far the best experience I have ever had with a company like this.

It is never a good thing to need these guys but if you do.....they are great. A tenant's sewer drain backed up (yucky) and we need the sewer line snaked. I called at 8.30 am and they were there by 9.30 this morning. An hour later and the line was clear, they cleaned up after themselves (something Rotor Rooter didn't do the last time) and at a fraction of the cost that RR charges. I hope to never need these guys again but if I do they are who I will call.

Extremely  pleasant phone and in-person interactions.  Rapid response for a reasonable price - what more can one ask for?
